  • Importance

    Importance

Who is important for you? For whom are you important? These two questions fairly sum up every individual’s life.

If you have people who make you feel important, involved and loved you are happy. You love those people back and care for them.  This builds up a confidence in you that yes you are needed, you are wanted, if you would cease to exist it would matter to someone.

Now what happens if you care for someone, make them feel important and no one is there to do the same for you? This creates a hole in the heart. Nothing gives you the happiness that you crave for. Because you do not matter, no one would care if you are not there. What is the importance of your life then?

Having a reason to live is the greatest motivation for anyone. We are capable of many things and once a loved one becomes a motivation factor and we can achieve great heights. This is because there is someone feeling happy for us.

But when we are alone and we succeed, who do we share that with?

So it is important to open our hearts and let there be as many people in your lives as possible. Do not just blindly trust anyone but do not take people for granted. Good and ever lasting people are rare to find so cherish the ones you have. Go out with them, make them feel that YES they are important to you.

Make time for you parents as no one can ever love you the way they do. Talk to them. They will at least try to understand you. Do not close the gates of your heart just to keep it safe. Yes there is a lot of hurt and pain out there but a lot of love is also waiting for you. Do not hold grudges, forgive when someone asks for forgiveness and keep your heart light. Do what you desire and have no regrets because that is the only way to live.

Make everyone your friend and help someone you know needs help but would not ask for it. Even I am here to help anyone who needs a friend to listen to them. Message me new friends!

The Perfect Night – Perfect Ending

    Read Part 1

As Varun walked away from Sara, he was smiling. He had made up his mind, he would not let her go like that. He started his planning.

Sara watched Varun walk away and felt lonely all of a sudden. She knew this was just a one night thing but now her heart was craving for more. She walked towards her hotel where her friends were waiting for her. they were all pretty hungover from last night so no one even asked Sara about her last night. Whereas Sara was dying to tell about her magical night but she too quietly started packing.

All of them sat in the taxi and reached airport. Their flight took off and landed in Dehradun. She reached home to find a shock. Her parents told her that a family is coming to see her.

‘You are 26 now, you are post graduate with a good job. What else do you need to do know?’ asked her mother.

Sara could not argue with her mother. She had no good reason to defend her decision of not meeting some random guy. What could she say? That she met and fell in love with a guy who she knows nothing about. Not even his name!

She slept with a heavy heart with memories of that night. She got up early, had a bath and got ready for the Special Day. She heard the doorbell ring, her parents welcomed the family and called out for her. She entered the room with a tray of tea and snacks. She placed the tray on the table and bowed to touch the feet of her supposed mother in law and supposed father in law. When she turned to look at her supposed husband she was shocked.

It was her mystery guy. It was Varun. She was too surprised to speak and everyone burst into laughter. Her friends came in laughing from behind. They took both of them to the balcony.  There she came to know that Varun had followed her to her hotel. He took her parent’s number from her friends and had arranged all this. Her friends left them alone.

He got up and came down on his knees. Took a ring and slipped it in her fingers and said ‘I am never letting you go’.

  • The Perfect Night

    The Perfect Night

Sara was sitting on a stool smiling as she looked at her friends dancing. Sara and her 4 girlfriends were at Goa beach, enjoying their last day of the trip. Sara’s friends were dancing wildly at a beach party they were at. Sara was looking around casually when suddenly her look fell on a guy. Their eye met like a scene in a movie, across the dance floor. They were complete strangers but suddenly they both felt like they were in the right place. Automatically they started walking towards the exit. It was like their minds connected and their souls talked.

Without uttering any words they started walking away from the party and their fingers constantly touched, almost like playing with each other. They started walking towards big rocks and sat there. Waves splashed across their bodies. Sara lay down and he too followed the same. Stars shone more brightly than ever. He faced towards her. Their eyes never lost contact and said millions of things that their lips could never explain. Their heartbeats were so fast and loud that anyone could have heard them. They were so close that he could smell her hairs and she was in love with fragrance of his body. Their body warmth merged into one.  He was totally mesmerized by her beauty which was more enhanced by the moonlight, he touched her face gently and kissed her forehead. She was smitten by his warm presence. They both felt so right. They did not say a word, they did not feel the need to explain their feelings and they both slept soundly holding hands.

In the morning as the sun rose, he opened his eyes and found Sara’s eye already staring at his face. Her smile made this morning the best morning of his life. She felt as if this face would make everything right in this world. They quietly walked towards the road to part ways. As she looked at him for the last time he leaned towards her ears and whispered “This is not the End.”

  • Arrange Marriage – Part 2

    Arrange Marriage – Part 2

Phone rang and Sukriti’s mother picked it up. Here face revealed a big smile with tiny tears in her eyes. She hung up and ran to Sukriti and her dad.

‘It was Vikrant’s mother. They liked our Sukriti. It is a yes from them but Vikrant wants to meet Sukriti for the last time before finalizing anything.’

Everyone was overjoyed. They all started to pick the perfect outfit for Sukriti to meet Vikrant. Sukriti decided to wear a baby pink kurta with blue jeans and a white stall. She put on a light perfume and kept her hair open. She did not use any make up as she wanted Vikrant to like her for what she is.

She had started planning what she will say. She decided to request him to let her keep her job. In her mind Vikrant had already made the image of perfect husband. The one who will love her, care for her and respect her wishes. She couldn’t even imagine a single flaw in him.

Exactly at 4 pm Vikrant came to pick her up.  Sukriti quietly sat in the car. She was a little disappointed that he did not open the door for her but she thought that maybe he was in a hurry so he must have forgotten. Without any delay he started the car and took Sukriti to a restaurant.

‘Look Sukriti I like you. You are beautiful and ell behaved and know all about household. I want to make things very clear. I do not want you to work. I want you to be at home always for whenever and however I or my parents need you. Even this modern clothing like jeans is not acceptable. I want a domestic wife and you will be wearing a saree at all times. Your sole purpose would be to fulfill my wishes. You will get clothes, jewelry or anything else you need but do not get any romantic ideas in your head. I do not support all that Bollywood crap. I hope you have understood everything and there should be no issues now.’

Sukriti was quiet for this entire time. Her perfect married world just crashed and she just stood up and left. She walked her entire way to home thinking what had just happened? She started thinking about how her entire life she never thought about anything else and just focused on how her married life would be? Was this the reality? Her perfect husband just wanted a slave to follow his orders?

All of a sudden she felt liberated. She felt light and suddenly she had a new dream. She wanted to explore herself now. Now she just didn’t wanted to be someone’s wife now and to be someone successful and wanted to do something for herself. She wanted to do something for her parents. This was her new awakening.

  • Arrange Marriage – Part 1

    Arrange Marriage – Part 1

Sukriti is really nervous as she wears the saree her mother had chosen. She looked lovely in baby pink simple saree, her hair tied in a neat bun, her hands adorned with bangles, her earrings sparkled and she blushed by looking at herself. Her self adoration was interrupted as she heard her door bell ring and her father opened the door. Her supposed groom with his family was here.

Sukriti Shah is a 25 year old and works as a cashier in a bank. She is a simple B.Com graduate. She is fair, 5′ 2″ tall, slim figure, long hair and average looks. But all in all she looked lovely. She is the only daughter of her parents and they are a middle class family. Her father is a shop owner and her mother is a housewife. They were a typical middle class family. Sukriti herself was very conservative. She studied in all girls school and a all girls college. Never made a boyfriend or even a male friend. For her, her husband would be everything.

Sukrit’s mother came and gave the tray of tea to her. They both then entered the adjoining room where groom, his parents and his younger sister were sitting. She served tea to everyone and when she saw the groom her heart nearly skipped a beat. He was really handsome. He must be 5’10” tall, fair, nicely built with a very sexy well trimmed beard. She sat opposite to the groom. And the questionnaire began,

    ‘What is your name child?’

    ‘Sukriti Shah’

    ‘Tell us about yourself’

‘I am a cashier at bank. I am a B.Com graduate. I know everything there is to know about household.’

‘Very good. This is our Vikrant. He is a B.Tech graduate. He is currently working in a software company. I think we should let both of you get acquainted.’

Parents left the room and both of them were alone. Sukriti was waiting for him to ask something.

‘So do you have any questions for me?’ asked Vikrant.

‘Yes, I really don’t know much about you. I would like to know where do you work?’ asked Sukriti barely looking him in the eye.

‘I work in a multinational company, in Mumbai. Do you have any hobbies?’ He answered observing her.

‘I like to cook. Apart from that I am also passionate about painting. And you?’ she answered blushing even more as he is staring at her.

‘I am a footballer for a club in Mumbai. I do not know cooking n all. Would you like to keep working even after marriage?’

‘I would want to keep working but i am also comfortable in being a housewife.’

Their parents returned and Vikrant’s family left. Sukriti told her parents that she liked Vikrant. Her parents were happy as Vikrant’s parents did not want any dowry and just wanted the wedding to be grand. They started waiting for their answer. Sukriti’s heart was in a constant turmoil as to what will happen next?

  • Innocence Lost – The End

    Innocence Lost – The End

Anu came back home. Went directly to her room and locked herself. Tears rolled down her eyes as she realized that all those moments with Sejal she had considered special and loving were so wrong. She felt used, abused and molested. She cried asking herself why did she ever let Sejal touch her like that? But then at that time how could she have known that all that love had such cruel intention!

Anu blamed Sejal for taking advantage of her innocence, she blamed her parents for not teaching her the difference between good touch and bad touch but mostly she hated herself as she allowed Sejal to take advantage. Anu put up a brave face in front of everyone and was the same cheerful girl for everyone else but every night she cried. She cried at how she thought that whatever Sejal did was love.  How the happiest moments of her childhood turned into the saddest ones!

As two – three months went by the tears dried up. Anu paid extra attention during Sex Education class. She wanted to learn so that she would never let anyone else take advantage of her. Time started to heal her. She did not become weak and instead started becoming stronger. She only had one goal in her mind that she will not let other girls face the same trauma. She decided to become a Sex Education Teacher and to join NGO. She wanted to help other girls so that they would never have to face the same situation as she had.

Anu decided to confront Sejal whenever they would meet. She wanted to tell her that what Sejal did was so wrong. How it made her feel? How it affected her future as now she will not be able to trust anyone! she wanted Sejal to realize her mistake and apologize to her.

Anu’s most important decision was that no matter what happens she will not her own child suffer like her. She will teach her children all the things they should know so that they know the difference between right or wrong. She will give her children time so that they always have confidence to tell her everything. She would never let anyone exploit the innocence of her children.

Sejal and Anu were best of friends. Anu’s parents were happy as with Sejal’s tutoring Anu’s academic performance was enhancing day by day. Anu was happy as not only did she had a new best friend but also a SECRET SECOND MOTHER.

Their routine was pretty much the same. Coming back from school, bathing together, eating together, sleeping together and then homework and playtime till Anu’s parents were back. Anu was enjoying this secret game as Sejal was always soft with here. She was always tender and so caring that Anu felt so loved. poor soul did not know that however soft the touch may be the intention behind it would ruin her one day.

Sejal always had different secret games to play. Sometimes it would be ‘Wife and Husband’ or sometimes it would be enactment of a romantic scene from a movie. Anu was so loyal to her that she never revealed anything to her parents. in her eyes everything was as perfect as could be. Her confidence also boosted and she started making more friends, learnt dancing from Sejal and took part in dancing competitions and was amongst good students of her class.

both the girls started growing up with their bond remaining intact. Sejal was 18 now and had passed her 12th standard.  She moved to a different city for her graduation. This left Anu a bit lonely but owing to her new personality she made new friends. Anu was in 6th standard now. She felt like a grown up girl and was loving the new life.

New clothes, new classes as they were no longer juniors and brand new uniform. These new classes also included Sex Education classes. This was totally new to Anu and her classmates. All the girls waited excitedly for this class. As soon as their teacher arrived they all were very interested in knowing what this class was about? Their teacher was Miss Priya. She was a 25 year old beautiful teacher. She started the class with introducing herself and asking every girl about them. She was very polite and friendly. All the girls instantly declared her as their favorite teacher.

Miss Priya started the class with a very basic topic – ‘Right touch and Wrong Touch’.

She explained ‘Our body is made up of many parts. Some of these parts are private and only our mother is allowed to touch them. That is called right touch. ‘

‘ If anyone else tries to touch us in those private parts then that is called wrong touch. If anyone tries to touch you there you should immediately inform your mother or me.’

She continued explaining which parts are private parts and how they should never allow any stranger or even a known person to touch them there.

All the girls felt as if they had learnt something very important. They all felt grown up and responsible for their body. The class had made them aware of something important. No one realized that Anu was quiet and was staring into infinity. No one heard how everything smashed and broke inside Anu.

  • Innocence Lost – Part 1

    Innocence Lost – Part 1

“Rise and shine princess” said Mom while waking Anu up. Anu loves her mom but getting up at 7 am is something every 6 year old hates. Then follows the tedious process of Mom bathing her, dressing her up, kissing her head every moment she gets, cuddling her as she is the only thing that matters to her. Then enters dad feeding her breakfast in airplane style or train style.

Here comes the bus and off goes Anu. Anu is in 2nd standard in the best Convent school of the city. She is everything for her parents so they provide the best for her.

Her father is a banker and mother is a teacher. They live in middle class apartments. Anu only has her parents to play with but they do not have enough time for her. Even then she was happy. She would imitate her mother while she cooked dinner or would climb on her father’s back and enjoyed the ride. All the other kids are either older than her or too young. So she never made friends with anyone in the building.

Anu is a beautiful girl. She is fair with long black hair. She is very introvert and does not open up easily. That us why she only has two friends in her class. Her daily schedule includes going to school, coming to home to her nanny, in evening playing with mother and then with her father and after dinner off to dream land she goes.

Something changed the schedule when a new family came to the apartment just to opposite theirs. The family comprises of working father and mother and a daughter of 15 year old, Sejal. She was breath taking beautiful, had everything fashionable and a good student.

In evening the new family came over for tea. Sejal and Anu met for the first time. Anu instantly felt mesmerized with Sejal’s charm. They instantly connected and started bonding. After the family left all Anu could talk about was Sejal.

Anu’s nanny got sick and left the job and this put Anu’s parents in great peril. Who would look after Anu during the day? To this Sejal came forward. She offered to look after Anu till her parents got back. Anu was thrilled with this idea and even her parents were happy.

Sejal would get back from school at the same time as Anu. Anu would immediately change and go over to Sejal’s apartment and they would start playing. Sejal became Anu’s best friend. She idolized Sejal in every aspect. From her beauty to her intelligence. Sejal played with her, helped her in studies and cooked delicious snacks for her. Anu could not ask for more. She followed everything Sejal said without any question. The week went by smoothly but things started to change the next week.

“Anu who do you love the most?” asked Sejal.

“I love my mother the most, why?” asked Anu.

“Would you like it if you had two mothers?” asked Sejal playfully lifting Anu in her arms.

“Yes, I would love that” answered Anu enthusiastically.

“Then from today I am your second mother. I will be your secret mother. You can never talk about me to anyone else especially your first mother. It will be our secret game.”

“Okay, I would love that” said Anu with innocence so pure that it could be seen in her eyes.

“Now what is the thing your mother does that you love the most?” asked Sejal with an evil grin. “Well I like it when my mother kisses me on my head and hugs me tightly” answered Anu honestly.

“Then we will also do it but a little differently” saying that Sejal pressed her lips against Anu’s and pressed her chest hard against hers. She fondled Anu’s body and then let go after a minute. Anu was rattled by this and couldn’t understand a thing. She quietly left and went to her room and sat on her bed. She recalled everything and thought “My mother also kisses me but that feels so warm. Why was this so different? Maybe it was for the first time and it will feel better the next time. After all kissing is no wrong as my mother and father also do it.” With that thought she felt alright again and kept the secret. Hardly did she notice that she had lost a little bit of her innocence.
