  • “Unraveling Of Kailash Parvat”

As the legends with passing generations have claimed the magical presence of Lord Shiva on Kailash Parvat, Mridul embarked on a long jouney to explore the mountains to witness if anything miraculous was actually present there. It was said that Lord Shiva till date resides there calmly meditating in the midst of snow capped peaks.

There was a humour that locals living near the parvat used to experience some kind of divine energy or a presence around them with sightings of a very rare animal which isn’t even believed to exist known as a Yeti. After hearing all of this, Mridul got super intrigued and sought for a discovery trip to Kailash Parvat. As soon as he reached near the local village, he braced himself to be standing at the holiest grounds of Lord Shiva with him taking part in rituals of worshipping. After spending few days in the village he started to pack and prepare himself to go on a trekking expedition to the parvat.

Mridul started his trek with a few locals he found at the base camp, he was told that there were sightings of yeti and to be alert and cautious all the time because their attack is fatal to humans. Him being even more curious started to walk through the glaciers and cliffs faster in order to see the yeti but couldnt get any sight of it. As they reached the top cliff near the parvat, he saw one of the most beautiful sights ever which was Lake mansarovar with the mountains gleaming above its crystal clear waters. It was indeed a sight to see for the eyes.

The trek guide said that they couldnt go ahead because of hailstorms and would have to camp there for the night, then return in the morning. Mridul being satisfied went to sleep peacefully at night. In the midst of the dark sky, Mridul heard a strange noise which woke him up. He dared not to go out after what his guide had advised him, the noises grew louder and they were very strange, never heard of by humans. So he decided to go back to sleep, later in the morning when he woke up, he was his colleagues surrounded by an area. Curious enough to see it, he went there and to his surprise he saw a huge footprint. The footprint wasn’t an average human foot print, it was thrice the size of the human feet which made it more mysterious. Became happy, he took a picture of it  and went home to show it to his friends.

Now his friends couldn’t believe it, they said the picture might be edited or Mridul might have gotten pranked by his colleagues because the concept of a yeti wasn’t familiar to everyone and it was still considered a myth. Maybe it could be the work of his colleagues to prank him or the strange noises and inhumanly sounds at night were actually of a yeti lurking around them ?. Maybe, maybe not.

  • “The Therapeutic Power of Art: Healing through Creativity”

    Introduction:

Art has long been recognized as a powerful form of self-expression, but its benefits extend far beyond aesthetics. From painting and sculpting to music and dance, engaging in artistic activities can have a profound impact on our well-being. In this blog, we explore the therapeutic power of art and how it can promote healing, foster self-discovery, and enhance our overall mental and emotional health.

    1. Self-Expression and Emotional Release:

Art provides a safe and non-verbal outlet for expressing complex emotions and experiences. When words fail us, the act of creating art allows us to communicate, process, and release our innermost thoughts and feelings. This cathartic process can provide a sense of relief, allowing us to gain clarity, find solace, and navigate challenging emotions with greater ease.

    2. Stress Reduction and Relaxation:

Engaging in artistic activities has been shown to reduce stress levels and promote relaxation. When we immerse ourselves in the creative process, our focus shifts away from daily worries and concerns. Art offers a meditative space where we can disconnect from the outside world, enter a state of flow, and experience a sense of calm and tranquility.

    3. Self-Discovery and Personal Growth:

Artistic endeavors encourage self-reflection and self-discovery. Through the exploration of various mediums and techniques, we learn more about ourselves, our preferences, and our unique perspectives. Art provides a platform for introspection, helping us uncover hidden talents, unearth buried emotions, and gain a deeper understanding of our own identities.

    4. Empowerment and Resilience:

Engaging in the creative process empowers individuals to take control of their narratives. Art allows us to rewrite our stories, express resilience, and envision a brighter future. Whether it’s through creating visual representations of personal growth or using art to advocate for social change, the act of creating can instill a sense of agency and inspire us to overcome adversity.

    5. Community and Connection:

Art has the power to bridge divides and foster connections. Participating in art classes, workshops, or group exhibitions can create opportunities for social interaction, support, and a sense of belonging. Artistic communities offer spaces for collaboration, feedback, and shared experiences, promoting both individual growth and collective healing.

    Conclusion:

Art is more than just a means of aesthetic pleasure; it holds transformative potential for our well-being. By engaging in artistic activities, we tap into a wellspring of self-expression, emotional release, personal growth, and connection. So, whether it’s picking up a paintbrush, dancing to the rhythm of music, or simply doodling in a sketchbook, let art be a therapeutic tool that nourishes your soul, promotes healing, and unlocks the boundless creativity within you.

  • Loyality and sacrifice test

    Loyality and sacrifice test

On a starry night, Isha woke up half dreaming and walked near the window. Something must have awaken her from her intense sleep. Her hands were cold and toes freezing as she stepped out of her comfortable blanket and walked towards the bright gleam of light just outside her home. Its was a fantastic event to observe but no one else was awaken from the hustle and bustle suddenly created in the lonely lane of Roosewington town somewhere located in America.

As she peeped outside her window she saw a plathora of bright light in raindow colors, dancing at the tune of some kind of magical melodious tune. And one ray of violet light rose towards her and shape-shift into a dancind ballet girl. From behind it another ray in amber came glittering towards the window it shaped itself into a poodle and started dancing along with the violet light. It was a high quality magic only the best of best magicians could do, and that’s the reason why Isha knew who exactly had arrived for a summer vacation visit. She swiftly opened her window frame to let her sister in. And along with a brilliant display of light magic her sister bella glided in her room. Out of the cocoon made of pure light bella jumped out to hug her dister. “It was cold outside, thankfully you let me in before freezing to death”, she gratefully spoke, ” that’s why you are the best sister in the whole human world “. Isha nodded in agreement and took her littel sister into her arms… It was a sisterly long hug which ended after not less than seven hundred seconds. It was too late but excited about her sister’s arrival Isha rushed to wake her mom and dad and tell them the news. As she stepped on the very first stair her toes slipped, an accident was bound to take place but she froze in the mid air and was saved by Bella’s magical wand once again. It reminded her of the very first time they found out that Bella was a witch.. When she saved Isha during a fatal car crash from atleast 500 meter distance. Soon after that Their family was visited by magic creatures to convince her parents to send her to magical school and Bella was sent with them for a safe and protected future. Ofcourse she was happy to join her kind but sad about leaving Isha alone at home. So she often breaks away from school to visit her for hour or two once a week. This time she has come to spend the whole summer vacations so she requested Isha not to wake anyone else. Isha accepted on one condition, that bella has to tell everything to her about her school for the rest of the night. So they talked and talked till they both fell asleep in an hour or so.

Next morning their mother coming in their room found them sleeping togather and covered them in a cozy blanket. She brought them warm milk and cookies and woke them up. All the four of them were happily togather and their days passed like that of any other happy family. A week later Bella came home from a neighborhood park in a puzzled manner and tried hiding herself from something. Her father couldn’t help but noticed her anxiety and asked her, ” Is there something bothering you Bella”, but she denied and passed a scared smile. Bella’s mother noticed scrates on her arm while she sat for dinner still half nervous. Realizing that bella hid the marks with magic. But when later Isha and Bella went to bed togather Isha to asked her about her peculiar behavior and this time Bella broke into tears saying, ” I did not came here on vacations but I came here because the magicians want us to kill our family members for the reason that they know about us. And today is my final day to accomplish my task if I have to pass my ‘loyalty and sacrifice exam’ .” she also told her in case she fails the exam she will be taken to be executed.

Tears ran out of Isha’s deep blue eyes. She asked her sister to relax till the time she could come up with a plan to save both her sister and her parents. Next morning as the wizards come to escort Bella back to her execution. Both the girls came out to meet them. Neither them or the wizards told anything about the test to her mother and father. Bella never looked sad while leaving. She hugged everyone back home and waved a goodbye. On the other hand Isha was way more sad than usual this perticular time while waving back to her dear sister.

After Bella left Isha soon retired to her bed and putting her face under her pillow cried for the rest of the time. But her tears had magic in them, where ever they fell Lillies bloomed on the spot. When her mother entered the room, she shrieked in fright to find bella crying in place of Isha. It turned out that Bella had shapeshifted into Isha and Isha had taken her place while being taken to execution. Bella told the complete truth to her parents filled with grief and guilt of accepting Isha’s plan to save her life. The joyful atmosphere of their home suddenly turned into dull and gloomy.

Moments later their door was knocked. Struck with grief her father opened the door. He was awestruck to find Isha standing at the door withmany more wizards than normally would come to escort the witches and wizards. They were filled with praise and appreciation for Isha’s sense of love and sacrifice for her parents and sister. Making Bella the only girl to pass the test in the entire magic school that year. The head of the school also accompanied Isha home proudly said, ” while all the other students used their magic to save themselves and tried to hurt their family your daughters wittily showed loyality and sacrificed for their family”. He rewrote a few old codes and then with a swift motion of his wand he baptized Isha with the highest order of super magic powers.

Both the sisters cherished their reunion once again and with both having obtained magical powers and admitted to the same trouble were nothing less than a double trouble. While the wizards were leaving out of curiosity Bella hasitantly inquired, “so what happened to the parents of other children, are they all dead?”

At this all the wizards burst in laughter, then master wizard replied, ” since you are wizards your parents are protected by law with our special authority and hence they are wizard ensured. No super power can hurt them. So it was just a test and never meant to hurt anyone in the first place.”

This knowledge relieved everyone present there. And as the fairytales end this story, of two beautiful sisters called Bella and Isha, too ended happily ever after.

  • The Japanese traveler

    The Japanese traveler

Minstro mintu was a thinly old man with a shrill voice and crazy looking beard. He had traveled from far south to reach the shrine of Bilael, a demi god of their tribe. During his journey he would stop at any place after 8 at night and begin again the next day before the sunrise. At times he had to stay in a small village at others he stayed at big towns but it was all the same for him. Because where ever he goes he would find a lonely place to pass his night into much needed relaxing sleep. On about December’s end minstro arrived at Kejuyan town which was famous for it’s sculptors all over Japan. It was getting dark, so he decided to stay on for the night.

In search of a calm place he stumbled upon a secluded dumping ground. He found a clean and composed place and lit fire with ancient stone friction technique. As the fire illuminated the dark lonely place, he saw there were old broken sculptures lying scattered all around him. Then he spread open his belongings which he carried along with him in a bag, hung on the top end of a long hardwood stick. It had all the necessary accessories to comfort him during his travel. He was carrying a mouthorgan, a tiny bottle of Rum, few clean clothes, and some bread. He drank some Rum and played a heart touching tune on his instrument and within few minutes, the alien land turned into quite a warm homely place.

As Minstro’s night was passing in confortable warmth in the middle of the wilderness, a stray puppy came sniffing from the rags. Minstro called him close and petted it’s back. Finding comfort recieving warmth and affection in Minstro’s company. Minstro too liked the love of his unexpected guest and started narrating his life’s story to the pup. He told how he was a rich silk merchant and how after having lost the love of his life, Mia Shin, he left all his materialistic possessions back home and started on foot for a pilgrimage to the other corner of the world. The listener closed his eyes and felt soon asleep but Minstro continued his tale.

He recounted how Mia Shin faked love and got engaged to an even wealthier person. But owing to his pure feelings he couldn’t bear to see her with another man. He was unable to find a cure for his unhappiness from the best doctors in his town. He drank for so many days and was in sheer pain from betrayal of his sweetheart that he only wanted to waste his remaining life. His mother called for him one day and ordered him to leave for a pilgrimage and find real happiness in the devine grace of sacred Bilael.

With a weeping heart he began to journey towards the north, hoping never to see any joy again in his dull and depressed life. Then where ever he went, he only noticed the all pervading dullness and sufferings of the human life. Moving across the 7 nations he saw humans in their pride, anger and greed and still never made an assumption for them. He passed through the dark alleys of big cities filled with cries of prostitutes and illegitimate children and felt sorry for them. He met criminals and thiefs on his way to the shrine and yet prayed for their reformation. He shed tears for those young soldiers who were bloodbathed while protecting their mother land. And walked by the luxurious houses of ministers who gave empty hopes and false promises to their country men.

He saw young girls falling in love with the wrong men and many men wasted in love of their cunning mistress’. Which made him remind of his own past. Wishing them the company of honest spouses he passed them too silently. He saw how people use to treat him with great respect while he wore silk robes and how lowly people view him while wearing ragged clothes. In a world full of hypocrites he continued walking with a poker face.

Amidst this loss and pain, Minstro looked around himself that day. He finally realised the beauty of the broken statues and the warmth of unconditional love of the dog. For a minute he went into deep thinking and then he said, ” I have traveled a long distance for so many days and seen so much loss everywhere on this planet that I would have shun the idea of continuing my journey as soon as I started, yet there is one thing which still kept me going.” It was, he said, ” the soothing joys of being alone”.

At about midnight a noise was heard in the dead cold silence, a cracking sound was heard from a near by rock statue, it seemed as if something had broken. It was nothing but the heavy heart which snapped into pieces that moment when mistro finished narrating his life’s story. Perhaps the winters were really too harsh that year. Or another possibility could be, that the statue too had a story of his own to share with a lonely traveler.

Minstro turned towards the statue of the curly haired youg boy sitting on a rock with his head resting on his palms, it shed tears on to the ground beneath it. Minto asked the boy,” what’s ailing you”. The boy replied,” many years ago, their lived a master craftsman in the town. His name was Diago. He made many beautiful statues. Then one day, he carved a very beautiful princess out of a brilliant white marble. Her beauty was mesmarising. Diago fell deeply in love with the statue but as he couldn’t have loved a lifeless stone figure for the rest of his life. So brokenheart he went far away from us leaving us all alone.” Sculpture responded,” for a long time I felt lonlyness was a curse untill today when you found your happiness in a lonely life.”

Statue demanded minstro to suggest a fitting solution to find his happiness to, being a wise traveler of the South. Then Minstro exclaimed, life is so full of misery and pain that the only wise man is the one who accepts the pains as inevitable and sees good in the most sad moments of his life. Minstro said, “never admired the beauty in broken stone sculptures as long as my eyes were rested at expensive silk fabrics. I never knew real love, untill one day a little pup really made me feel that”.

He found his cure in lonelyness, and found happiness in himself. The sculpture found his answer so did Minstro. He streched himself and soon felt the heaviness around his eyelids. He fell deep asleep in the cozy place.

The next morning Minstro wished goodmorning to the statue but it did not reply back. He checked the statue by knocking over it’s shoulder but it didn’t respond at all. Believing the previous night’s incident as part of a lucid dream, Minstro prepared himself to accomplish his remaining journey. As he gave one last glance towards the forgotten statue, he was surprised to find a crack right on it’s heart. Minstro smiled and bid his final goodbye.

  • Snake child

    Snake child

One is never too young to become a legend but gaurav was just another case of exception. When his mother died he was marely 5 and his father already left them alone exactly two years prior to this fateful event.

One day he was sweeping floor at a local shop when he found a rat half stuck in a tiny hole. It was crying and shouting, people kept passing by at a distance. When no one stopped to hear it’s little screems guarav took the responsibility to save this distressed rodent all by himself. He put his bare hands into the hole and pulled out mouse with all his might. Mouse came out but not alone, it was halfway into the mouth of a venomous black snake who couldn’t wait to slide this poor creature down its’s fierce belly. Guarav didn’t wait a second more. He grabbed the serpent by it’s neck and pulled out the semi concious mice. Then carefully throwing the snake into a nearby water stream, the young boy came back to nurse the mouse. Mouse survived the attack and the people who saw this incident were full of appreciation for this dareing little boy.

By the time he was 9 he was a local hero and the only regional storyteller by profession. According to his personal record, he had rescued uncountable animals, birds and humans from terrible snakes. Every day he would sit by the elevated ground under the big sisam tree and recount an advanture tale about his fabulous snake rescues and people would shower blessings and put money in a mini charity box which he carries along wherever he goes. His days were gay and nights were never sleepless. No doubt he owed his fame to his skill in telling stories that by defeating serpants but his fame as a snake catcher spread all directions known to humankind.

One morning he woke up, as excited as ever, to kick start his that brand new day, he found himself tied in a slithery rope. It didn’t took him long to realize it was actually a snake, a giant spotted devil with the most amazing pattern on its forhead. Guarav got scared, as he was about to call out for help, he realized this will ruin his reputation as a hero. He preferred death to defamation. As the snake crawled up his body and reached his patrified face, he remembered his mother father and god and closed his eyes giving a submissive nod to the approaching death. At that fantastic moment the snake hissed his name next to his ear. Guarav though it was death calling, when after a few seconds snake did not bite, he opened his eyes to find the snake sitting on his bare chest coiled and looking into his eyes. Once more the snake hissed and he could clearly hear it talking to him.

He hid his fear from the serpant but responded in some what squicky shrill voice,” can you talk!”

Snake responded,” yes I can. And I have come from far east to hear your fantasmogorical tales. Are you the famed story teller ?”

Poor little boy had no idea of what was happening. Managing to show some courage while still fearful of the deadly creature, he answered, “Yes, indeed. Tell me what would you like to hear. ”

Snake said, “very well then I can wait till I hear one of your famous tales and then I will kill you .”

Guarave knew it in his heart that snake will still eat him anyway. Seeing no escape from the situation he was in, he acknowledged the time was right to fight a bettle of wits. He told the reptile, ” This could be my last story so I want to narrate it properly following my 3 most important rules. One; instrument to give music to his lore. Two; seat of Guarav’s choice for his audience. Three; he will also enact the story to add realism. Proud snake, driven mad for revenge, agreed to everything Guarav demanded and sat down to hear the story.

While the snake dreamed of killing the young narrator at the end of his story, Gaurav arranged a cane basket for the snake to sit comfortably in the middle of his human audience. People were intimidated by the presence of a giant snake amoung them, but Guarav assured them about their safety. Then he started recounting another imaginary tale… He began with stating, ” far far in distant land there lived a proud snake with large fangs…” He was giving music with a charmers flute which hypnotized the viper, this ensured snake doesn’t hurt anybody.

In the end of the story he narrates, ” and as soon as the snake fell asleep, he shuts the box on it’s head, saying this he too traps the snake in the box. In this way he successfully ensured his and other’s safety. All the people present gave a huge applaud to the live performance of defeating the snakes, which Guarav delebrately staged. Later that day he tied the box extremly tight and left the it in a passing train, perhaps going towards far north. This is how he bid farewell to his archenemy once and for all.

He was feeling proud at how he saved himself from the fangs of death. Everyone saw how bravely Guarav captured the beast. And this act reaffirmed his expertise at snake catching. It was no doubt anexceptional act on his part and people from distant lands invited Guarav to solve their snake problems. Even the great rulers in history called him to their castles to honour his brilliance and bravery. And snakes too started fearing him by his name. He lived the rest of his life in prosperity and ease. But somehow died an unknown death from some sort of poisoning. Some say it was the same viper which took its revenge upon him. But others believe his death to be the consequence of jelousy amoung young masses from his popularity. They reason that no snake had the courage to touch Guarav while he was alive… Nobody could tell certainly about his death though. But one thing was sure, another Guarav was never born again.

  • Secret Goblin market

    Secret Goblin market

To begin the story let me clearly tell you, Isha loved advanture. She was a sensible ten year old daughter of Mr. and Ms. Gill, who along with their two children got relocated to Europe during the 50’s. Her new house was located almost two miles away from the forest and there were lot’s of girls of her own age around. She picked out four special girls, who were as adventurous souls as herself, to become her very best mates for life. The 5 girl gang included naive Riya, cute Rihana, talkative Sameera, strong Iris and herself. They would gather near Isha’s house and plan for advanture, treasure hunts and misterious facts mostly by sharing books and visiting libraries on weekoffs, while they would gather on the same spot to study togather on the school-days.

Things were going fine untill one day Riya heard a whistling sound coming from the other side of the thin waterway which separated their homes from the forest region. Although they were not allowed to cross the lake and enter the forest mainland, Riya still wanted to go and enquire. Isha being the most intelligent girl out of them all denied but majority was in favour of Riya’s claims. So everyone prepared their own bags with essentials and entered the forest.

Riya being the most innocent and naive girl took along food, water and her teddy. Riyana was pretty and all she could think for the adventure trip was makeup and chocolates. Other three carried essential things like a compass, rope, blankets, a lighter and water. As they carefully crossed the low flowing river. They saw a shadow walking past some thick wild cherry bushes. They couldn’t see much except for a golden ball attached to a conical corner of a green velvety hat that she was wearing. They knew it was not an animal. As they walked near the creature, it sliped further into the forest. All of the girls went deep into the forest chasing the creature wearing the golden ball on it’s hat. Isha again tried to convince others to turn back but noone wanted to leave without finding out about the noises.

Then suddenly in the deepest part of the forest errupted a lot of hustle and bustle. It was as if there was a secret market at the heart of the forest. Walking almost 10 steps further, at a little distace they witnessed lamp lights and many more little people wearing the similar green hats. As they went near the bazaar noices began to harshen making it very unpleasant to stay there much longer.

But as the other girls still kept on panting to proceed to the market, Isha reminded everyone how it was not safe to enter an unknown crowd specially when it was not an ordinary crowd. Girls for the last time ignored her warnings, so Isha too went along instead of unsuccessfully trying to stop them. Also her own adventurous nature compelled her to go. But she was smart enough to plan their safe escape.

Every girl in the group was well aware about these creatures because Sameera use to tell folklores about them, as she was the only native European among them. From Sameera’s stories they already knew goblins are almost always small and grotesque , mischievous or outright evil, and greedy creatures, especially for gold and jewelry. So they planned they will keep on moving untill they cross all the shops without buying anything. They covered themselves in blankets and merged into the goblin crowd. Everyone was scared but proceeded through the market to walk away without being caught by the vicious goblins.

They passed first few shops only by looking at them but the goblin bazaar wasn’t simply any other market, it was full of exotic objects and variety of magic. There were such serems that can make hair change colour, charms that bring love, money or happiness, dream catchers that contained 10 to 100 most desirable dreams, and so on. The shopkeepers were very assertive and flexible about payments.

In the end only Isha made it out of the market and all her friends were lured by the glitters of the market. But not realising her friends’ fates, she kept on rushing her steps away from the dissonance. When the voices dimmed as she went far from the market she turned back to talk to her friends but realised too late that all her friends were tricked by goblins into buying some or the other thing. Isha hid at a distance behind the thick mapple trees to help her friends if needed. She saw Iris buying a mason jar, which enables the drinker to have super strength for a few minutes and Sameera purchased a mike that makes the holders voice very euphonic. Riya and rihana brought invaluable but attractive charm bracelets which give luck and love respectively. The goblin market stood there till 7 and then it disappeared into thin air. As the girls stood there alone, Isha made her way to the girls and hugged them. Then everyone went home happily but amazed. They made fun of Isha for not buying anything while they purchased so much magic for free. Isha found this shocking to know, because in folklores goblins are famed to be cunning traders and it is said that “there is no such thing as free lunch with, the goblins” .

It was almost dark so they decided to reach home as soon as possible. None of them uttered a single word about this incident at their homes. The next day all the girls met again on their regular place to discuss about the events of previous day. Although they brought so many things from goblin market none of them seemed excited that day. Isha was surprised to see this reaction. Now she was actually tensed for her only friends in the neighborhood. She knew something was wrong about the goblins.

They asked Isha if she is okey! which isha responded favourably. Then one of them said,” but I can’t get rid of the unbearable noises from the goblin market.” Others too nodded in assent. Isha questioned, “what did you buy their magic goods with?” no wonder they were answerless. Because they did not pay a dime to the goblins. At that point they found out even though they all knew goblins are not the kind of creatures who would allow bargains, they had fallen into their tricks. Riya finally broke down and sobbing she blabbled,” they rejected our money asking for gold, but we didn’t had any, so they gave us alternate choice.” Iris intruded in between saying,” goblins asked us to trade one out of three things, Age, family or peace. And we all choose peace. And since then we can not get rid of the strange noises.”

Isha knew goblins have already played their cards well. She decided to herself go to the same market and somehow find a remedy. The next day she packed her bag and walked into the woods but she was unable to find the goblin market again. For a week she went into the most wicked parts of the woods but kept on coming back empty handed. Her friends continued to live in distress. Seven days later Isha heard a familiar whistle. Knowing that goblins are back she picked up her bag and rushed to the inner side of the forest.

This time Isha was welcomed very warmly. Goblins greeted the girl as the “one who was left unattended last tym”. Isha didn’t wanted to buy anything but the goblins were very adamant for atleast one single purchase just by the reason of entering in to the market. Isha asked one goblin then the next and till the last in the market but noone gave her any solution. As it started getting dark and she hopelessly decided to leave, one goblin held her by arm and offered an apple. She denied but the goblins surrounded her and pushed the apple in to her mouth. She closed her mouth tightly. Outnumbered she could not evade them so she cried, “I will eat the apple but in return you have to tell me the solution of how my friends will find their peace back”. Goblins were ready to give a solution in exchange for eating an apple, so after her first bite one goblin told her, “if they need to rid the noices then tell them that they just have to eat lot of Cherries. Isha dropped the cursed apple on the ground and dodging the goblins she hastened towards her home to inform her friends. But accepting the apple from goblins bound her in their debt. The cunning goblins smiled at a distance as Isha ran away from the market. But she never managed to escape the misterious woods.

Next day Isha’s mother and father began inquiring from her friends about their daughter’s disappearance and police too was informed. her friends kept quite feeling guilty about the mishap. Later only Sameera told everyone about the goblin market though noone blieved her stories.

Another day passed looking for Isha with no success. So the remaining four girls went into the scary forest again. But this time they prayed god to avoid any sort of advanture for them. There right at the onset of the forest they saw someone standing. As they approached they found a statue right next to the cherry bush, but horrified at the sight of a statue just near the entrance of the forest they didn’t approach it immediately. While passing by its side the girls looked at the face of the nicely carved figure and cringed within, it was none other than Isha’s . Nobody could tell how Isha was metamorphised into hard rock. Rihana started crying in Riya’s arms. They tried to move the statue but it was too heavy. After an hour they were disheartened, helpless and tired. Then suddenly Iris noticed that Isha’s statue is in such a position as if she was about to pluck the cherries. They too plucked the cherries and while plucking they also ate a few of them. They were amazed how the unpleasant noices stopped. The girls were overjoyed to find the cure. Then they smashed some cherries and put them into the statue’s mouth but unfortunately nothing happened.

It was getting late, and the girls finally had to return to their homes. As they bid final Farwell to their beloved friend Isha’s statue closes her eyes and moved her hands to hug back. All of the girls shouted with joy. Their advanture was finally successful. All of the five friends returned to their respective homes. They decided to never disobey their parents and not look for any more adventure for sometime. In the end Iris, Riya, Rihana, Sameera and Isha realised that the most magical gift they posesss is their strong bond of friendship. So they discarding all the other magics which they brought from the goblins and lived happily ever after keeping the secret of Goblin market a secret for the rest of their lives.

  • Tales beyond Belief

    Tales beyond Belief

Reality is everyone’s fact. Fiction is no one’s reality. Myth is some individual’s reality. It’s a social truth, a religious truth, a country’s fact, one that ties a group together by giving them a typical perspective to work inside.
Science can reveal to you how the world capacities, yet no one but myth can disclose to you why it works the way it does. The possibility of God, for instance, is a social truth: it is not some portion of Buddhism, Jainism, or secularism. In like manner, the possibility of prophets looks bad in the Hindu perspective. The possibility of legend, scalawag and casualty is a Greek mythic thought, which was forced by current storytellers on folklores around the globe, prompting bending of social thoughts. Balance is not an objective idea. It is a subjective truth, a conviction that comes to us from Abrahamic folklore. In like manner the possibility of equity originates from Greek folklore. These two Western thoughts are frequently at loggerheads.
Obviously, adherents of myth trust their reality is reality. Outcasts oppose this idea. This is the reason for all tribal, religious, and country state wars. Give us a chance to investigate 10 legendary stories from around the globe to acknowledge how unique individuals have attempted to understand the world.

    Cost of wisdom

Odin was the lord of the Aesir tribe, at the same time divine force of war and earth and in addition lord of sky, intelligence, verse and enchantment. He was shamanic, an admirer of joy, and daze, and frequently ‘womanly’, humiliating the Viking warriors who favored his manly side. A standout amongst the most striking qualities of his appearance is his single, penetrating eye. His other eye attachment is vacant – the eye it once held was yielded for shrewdness. He surrendered it so he could drink from the well of shrewdness. Odin regularly shows up as a pioneer of the Wild Hunt, a spooky parade of the dead through the winter sky. He rides a steed that has eight legs and goes with his raven and a wolf, who give him data about what is going on in each edge of the world.
From another name of Odin, Wotan, comes the name ‘Wednesday’, connected mysteriously to the strong fluid questionable Mercury, a planet that is some place in the middle of the manly Mars and the ladylike Venus.

The spider Trickster: At the point when a soul attempted to catch the entire world’s shrewdness

Anansi, as creepy crawly, once chose to accumulate the whole world’s astuteness in a pot for himself. When he succeeded, he endeavored to shroud the pot at the highest point of a tree where no one could discover it. He tied the pot before him and endeavored to climb the tree, yet continued sliding and losing his grasp. His child, who had tailed him, proposed he attach the pot to his back so he could climb all the more effortlessly. At the point when Anansi endeavored to actualize his child’s recommendation, the pot slipped and tumbled to the ground. The astuteness dropped out and a sudden rainstorm washed it into the waterway and from that point to the waters of the sea, with the goal that everybody on the planet now possesses a tad bit of it.

How quarreling goddesses caused the Trojan War

All the Olympian divine beings were welcome to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis with the exception of Eris, the goddess of dissension. Irate, Eris chose to educate the gathered Olympians a lesson. She tossed among them a brilliant apple on which was engraved the words, ‘For the most wonderful.’ Three goddesses – Hera, goddess of family unit, Athena, goddess of aptitudes, and Aphrodite, goddess of excellence – asserted the apple and battled about it. No god, not in any case Zeus, challenged judge who of the three goddesses was the most wonderful, and thus deserving of the apple. At long last, the goddesses were advised to go to Paris, sovereign of Troy, known for his comprehension of female excellence and his reasonable judgments. The three goddesses introduced themselves to Paris and attempted to inspire him with their magnificence. When he couldn’t choose, each endeavored to reward him furtively. Hera guaranteed to make him leader of the best kingdom on the planet. Athena guaranteed to make him the most appreciated warrior on the planet. Aphrodite guaranteed him the hand of Helen, the most wonderful lady on the planet.
Paris acknowledged Aphrodite’s offer. He gave her the apple and with that, he and the place where there is Troy earned the ill will of Hera and Athena until the end of time. In this manner, the reason for the Trojan War was less human imprudence but rather more it was the unimportance of the divine beings.

At the outset there was only water of Nu on the planet from which rose the principal pyramid-like hill, much the same as the earth that shows up when the waters of the Nile retreat. On this hill stood Atum who created the divine force of air Shu and the goddess of dampness Tefnut, who thusly delivered Geb, the earth-god, and Nut, the sky-goddess, who delivered Isis and Osiris, the primary ruler and lord of human civilisation. Arbitration over Ambrosia

CC: Conquers of the Great Mount Olympus and the guardians of the three worlds are amongst us today. I would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude towards you for sparing time for us.

(Hades aside: Not that there is much to do in the underworld)

CC: So to the three Big Brothers, Zeus, Poseidon and Hades I extend my warm welcome. The men of your kingdom have questions in store for you. Today we will put before you a handful of the questions they have. So here is the first one, this one is for all of you in general , how does it feel like to be the king of three kingdoms?

Zeus: Power is what I always wanted. It feels powerful and influential. We brothers suffered great injustice from our father, Cronus.

Poseidon: It is liberating to serve the masses. I feel responsible towards my people and want to be at their service at all times.

Hades: Umm…the Underworld serves to me as wonderful opportunity to reflect on the wrongs done to me by my brothers. (Looking aside to his brothers) No offense meant bros. But don’t you think, brother Zeus that it is unfair that you get all the pretty maidens and I am left with the dark. I am the eldest born. Mount Olympus was my right.

Zeus: (Agitated) don’t you talk about “pretty maidens’ when you have no idea how difficult it is to manage them.

CC: I think we would move on to the next question. So my next question is directed to you Lord Zeus. What does the sky feel like? And how does Queen Hera find it?

Zeus: Sky is my home and I love it with all my heart. Though sometimes I do find it a little mundane because of its monotonous nature. It is on these occasions I play a little with the weather. Crashing of clouds and playing with light rays is my favorite past time. Though I work up on my aim and shooting skill by striking a lightning. It is really funny when it goes on to strike someone’s ass. (laughs heartily)

CC: Haha (hesitantly) . Well our next question is to you Lord Poseidon. How do you manage to control all the sea beasts? And we all have just heard about sea monsters do they really exist?

Poseidon: I love my sea and its inhabitants. I am their lord and they my subjects. But apart from this relationship we share another very special one that is our love for the waters. I relate to them and they respect me. So it’s not that I control them but they just abide by me. About my sea monsters, well all I can say is that some secrets should lay buried in the heart of the oceans. Waves carry messages in languages unknown yet known to the world. Sea monsters are similarly one such mystery of the oceans.

CC: I am sure you just got all of us more curious about what lies beneath those powerful waves. Thank you so much Lord for your answer. Lord Hades here is my question to you. Why is that you have cut the links with your brothers as well as the rest of the world?

Hades: After having received the underworld as my share, I trust no one but Cerberus. I cut the links with rest of the world so that I can be in my domain in peace. My helmet of infinity serves me well when I do want to visit the upper world. You see there is not much to do when your wife is away for six months. (Shrugs his shoulders)

CC: So, here is my last question for the day. Which of the three worlds do you think is the most critical?

Zeus: Are you seriously asking me that question, girl. Ofcourse it’s the sky and air.

Poseidon: I think brother you are being a little selfish there it’s the water, my lady.

Hades: I don’t wish to answer the question. But nevertheless I will put before you a question what do you think will happen to the rest of the three worlds if all of the dead were to remain haunting them there.

Zeus: (With fierceness) Think before you speak!!

Poseidon: I am not going to take this!! (draws his sword)

CC: Peace, my lords, peace. I think this will be the end of this interview. Thanks for reading.

  • Immortality

    Immortality

    Covet eternity’s idiomatic spectacle,

To indulge in the sensual bliss of birth,

In the point of reality exist,

To taste the resplendent fruits of earth.

I wistfully hanker for perpetual existence,

I dread to bid farewell to an imperfect world,

My inclinations have been invariably fulfilled,

Yet this anxiously lingers to be unfurled.

    Immortality-you breed an unslaked zeal

For the insipid humanity to fabricate,

The embrace of death genes constant repulsion,

    As an inevitable cosmopolitan fate.

I habitually gape at your inconceivable swagger,

    For which I solicitously aspire,

    For your tantalising, alluring seduction

Ignited in a stifling, eternal fire.

  • Too young or old enough?

    Too young or old enough?

A teenage girl who is extremely fed up with being a teenage decides to narrate her story in front of her friends with a belief that they will understand her. Each month when those five days arrive, I cannot enter the kitchen. I cannot drink water from same bottle as I will pollute the bottle. I cannot eat my favourite pickle for five continuous days. I cannot enter a temple or go to some other place to worship just because I am on my periods and it impure the purest place. I cannot wear my favourite white skirt as I might get red stains. Those red stains on the walls of a holy place do not imply impurity, but my skirt’s red stains impure the holy place.

The first day, when I got my periods my mother told me not to share this with anyone. I was told that if my father gets to know to about this, I will feel shame. I always have to wrap the sanitary napkin in a black poly bag or a newspaper because if anyone sees they will know I get periods. I have always been told to keep a natural process, a fact hidden as it is illegal to bleed. Even after knowing I am going through pain and have unstable mood. I am told not to go outside and hangout with my friends. I feel exceptional as I do not crave for ice cream or chocolates, but, I only crave for sour things. However, it is already said that I cannot eat sour food as it will harm me more. On one hand, my mother says me to drink hot milk and on the other hand, I am told to eat more ice cream. Being a girl is more than being usual and yourself too.

Periods sometimes leads to pimples and pimples causes’ irritation. If I scratch them it is said that it will be hard to find a groom for me because people love spotless faces to get married. If a boy has dark complexion it is not necessary that a girl can reject him however, if a girl has dark complexion it is very obvious that it will be hard to find a groom for her.

Also if my family gets to know that I am in live with boy who loves me too. I am abused because I am a small girl and I cannot understand what is best for me. On the other hand if my brother is dating some girl, there is no problem with that. Excuse me! I want to ask that who decides this that I am young for something like deciding my life partner and too old to sleep with my favourite teddy bear. I am old enough to wear my favourite short skirt, whereas to speak for my own rights in my own family I am too young.

Last week when I told them, I want to become a business entrepreneur, they were laughing on me. Everyone said that business is meant for boys and unfortunately I am girl. However, I always been given the freedom to pursue my goals and opportunity to build my own dreams. And I want to prove this to my family that I am fortunate enough to pursue my own goal and dreams. I can write my own destiny and I can become whatever I wish to become. I know I will need support but, I will make this happen. The moment I saw everyone laughing on my dream, I was shattered as well as more determined towards my goal.

Discrimination is and has always been an integral part of our society. I have to get waxed and go through that hell painful thing in my life for hours and look like a Barbie doll all the time whereas my brother has body hair like that of gorilla and it is allowed. Sometimes, I feel pity for myself and other females as well. We have to go through all the painful things all our lives and get nothing out of it. We have to compromise all of our lives and receive criticism only. It is very unfortunate I have to abide by the rule and norms of my family and bring an amendment in our regulation.
