    Golden Child

I (29m) got rejected by my family when I was 23, it was a traumatic experience for me, I am talking about the day when everyone was at my house. It was amusing because my family was nuclear and all of a sudden everybody including my grandparents (74m & 71f) were at my house. Of course, I have to mention that it was the day of anniversary of my brother and SIL (sister-in-law) (33f), yes, my brother john (34m) was married and it was his wedding anniversary ceremony. He was 28 at that time, even tho my family was nuclear my house was pretty big. We had a big backyard in it, it was where the ceremony was organized.

I am an Introvert so I was feeling awkward being among my family members, yes according to me ESH (everyone sucks here) but not all are TA (total asshole). It is not going to be so great experience for me since I was not very talkative, I thought. I was wrong about this until the cousin with whom I am very close with came, his name is Michael (30m) he was 24 at that time his bday was also in few months. His younger sibling Laurance (26f) also came, I was getting comfortable with her as we met at a function 20 days ago, she was a psychologist. The moment they came I felt relieved as the weight of the burden on my brain got lighter. Michael was a free minded guy, so I have told him about the thing I was going to do. He did not think twice or hesitated to support me, I was thinking AITA (am i the asshole) but when he supports me, I got some kind of confidence, my brother john also knew about it but he told me that it is a risky task to do but he will support me, we all siblings and cousins started partying. my SIL asked john “what are we hiding?”, yeah, she is TA according to me, and even more of an asshole is my brother who answered it! Yeah, you heard it right he answered it. I was so embarrassed! That day I got to know I was the one who’s an TA. How can I not think of her! I still had faith and I told john to handle it. And for God’s sake he did it!

When all of this is going on suddenly my SIL came told me how I was “The Golden Child of My Family” and how I was everyone’s favorite. I really thought for it and I was now more confused because of this good boy past shit, this was really a pause button for my brain. I was totally blank. Thinking what do choose in this situation, I was not able to find the solution as I was stuck between past and future. Thanks to my cousin Laurance she helped me as she is a psychologist, I underestimated her, she was really a solution finder. Finally, after those few hours of traumatic blankness I was able to decide what I have to do, but it was too late to call her.

The day was spent well but it ended quickly, the plan was still there and today is the day when I will reveal the truth that I love one girl and I will marry her! It was 9 in the morning when I woke up, man the maddening voice of those spoilt kids. I am damn sure everyone has these kinds of kids in their family. Not only kids but as I said ESH.

My father (52m) was giving farewell to other family members who lived far away, no worries, he was just lightening my burden although he doesn’t know about that. He is very strict as he was retired from US Navy, furious man with a fat moustache and beard, no doubt, why my siblings and cousins are not so comfortable and friendly with him. Well, I was also frightening about what will happen if I told him, and on the other side I my mother (50f) was with us siblings as my mother is very friendly, we were joking around with my mom. But my life can never be at peace my SIL whispered in something in my mom and her reaction was shocking. Still as she is my mother, she is NTA (not the asshole) unlike my SIL, rather than scolding me she decided to handle things and support me. My mother knew that my SIL is an TA so she in a MIL (mother in law) tone told her not to spread things, as my mother was also on my side, I was very happy and confident, but it was not the end. My father was still remaining, he agreeing on us will be the real win.

All of the family members except Michael & Laurance were at the house to support me, it was 7:30pm, I called Abigail (29f). yes, she is “HER” whom I mentioned above. “Oh God I have faith in you in and only you, please help this fellow disciple of yours”, I said. She picked the call. “Hello, is everything fine? May I come over? She spoke. I answered say please come ASAP! The doorbell rings, we were confused that is it Abigail or my father? My mother opened the door and it was Abigail. We welcomed her like non other, my mother pampered her very well and we all started to discuss about it. Mother called my name from the kitchen; my mother told me that you’re very lucky but your father is a man of his words he has already said that your marriage will be arrange marriage. “But I also shall have some freedom, I love her and I can’t see any other than her”, I said. You have to say this to your dad dear, mom told.

And finally, the door bells rings again, everyone saw Abigail as my bestie but now except my father everyone knows the truth. Mom opened the door and my father was there. He was calm and somewhat happy because he was gone to his friend’s promotion party. Little did we know he was drunk also, but we didn’t get any hints of he being drunk. soon we sat at the dining table it was complete silence, “dad I want to tell you that …… I … I love Abigail”, I don’t know what I was thinking but I thought to just say it because the silence was not the answer. “Okay So What?”, my dad told. I was numb, what to do now? but then my mother told my father “He wants to marry her, honey, everyone has rights to do what they want, Miguel is the golden child of our family. “He WAS the golden child of our family!”, father said. “Hey Miguel, leave my house right now!”, I was frightened.

For few hours my family was arguing, it was the first time someone stood against my father and it was my family. But I guess no one can change the mind of my dad, at last my dad shouted “Miguel leave this house, right now!” it was traumatizing really. Although it was tough but I had to, I LEFT MY HOUSE….  “Will be continued”

  • My Mystical Journey

    My Mystical Journey-

The world is full of magic and contains hidden connections along with a bunch of twists and turns. And just like that the path of two lone birds crossed. The story of my mystical adventure starts with characterizing myself as a curious and perceptive individual, unknowingly Intersecting ways with someone destined to be out of reach. It came like a mysterious figure and unexpectedly became the missing piece of an unsolved puzzle.

It all began with an accidental meet. She was just a name when I first met her, a name connected to my friend’s quash fantasy. But I had no idea that the enigmatic forces at work had more aspiring plans for me. And once again our ways intersected as a result of fate’s forces, but this time the cosmos suggested a deeper relation, a relation which will last forever.

Her vibrant atmosphere intrigued and drew me toward her, like the sun attracting all the planets in the solar system. So out of sheer curiosity, I took a deep breath and asked her about another girl with the motive of growing our friendship. These small efforts and things unknowingly triggered a string of actions that would unriddle an enthralling love story.

Over time, our friendship grew and a transparent connection grew between us. It felt like an invisible wire connected our lives, pinning our hearts together. It was like our connection became the missing piece of the unsolved puzzle, but despite that, we were unaware of the bond that fate had written for us.

Our tale survived the maze of obstacles put by life. Though the shadows projected disagreements and erupted uncertainty, our love stood tall and exterminated the darkness. It was as if our souls were bounded by some secret magic only known to the whispers of the universe.

The Magic grew strong as we both discovered the astounding harmony between us. We shared thoughts, our passion aligned, and had personalities that mirrored one another. Every new conversation added to the sensation that something uncommon and unusual was happening, it was like a riddle was calling for our help to be solved so that we can experience its true beauty.

However, a secret persisted between us, and as time went on and our connection grew, and its cloak gradually lifted. The mysterious wire that bound us held the solution to solving the riddle that connected our lives. But despite the magic, the one fact that remained persistent was the knowledge that our paths intertwined and are controlled by forces beyond cognizance.

As our tale of love progresses, the hidden truth of the string that links us will gradually emerge. And we will begin the sail on a journey of discovery together, delving deeper into the ramification of our connection. And through this journey, one thing that won’t change is my unwavering conviction that we are purported to shred this incredible mystery, a Mystery shrouded in magic and yet destined to triumph.

And thus, with each new chapter, our tale becomes more and more magical waiting to be answered. And together we will negotiate the twists and turns, guided by an unwavering love that defies logic and transcends the normal. So we know that the answers to our common secrets are quietly hidden in the enormous fabric of our mutual destiny, guiding, me to a truth deeper than anyone could ever fantasize.

  • The Insane Tale of Insanityville

Once upon a time, on a planet far from our own, there existed a land where everything was not quite as it appeared. In this peculiar kingdom, solid entities maintained a tremendous power to wobble and move, behaving in ways that defied reasoning and expectation. It was a land where peace was a fleeting notion, and danger crept around every corner.

In this strange world, there was a tiny village named Insanityville, occupied by a society of unique people who had discovered to acclimate to the incredible essence of their surroundings. The people of Insanityville were born with an innate insight into the wobbling marvel and evolved an extraordinary defense mechanism that allowed them to steer their erratic planet.

The villagers had discovered that when any object reached close to them, their bodies would automatically change into a solid shape. It was as if a tide of energy swelled through them, inducing their bodies to become rigid and sealed, causing aversion to anything that tried to harm them. This biological defense mechanism was their mere shield against the threats of their ever-shifting world.

Among the villagers, there lived a young girl named Mira Bella, who possessed an insatiable curiosity and an adventurous enthusiasm. Mira Bella had always been enchanted by the peculiar nature of their world and dreamed to discover its secrets. She spent her days investigating the outskirts of the village, venturing into the unknown, and following the wobbling entities that surrounded her.

One day, as Mira Bella strolled deeper into the unknown jungle, she stumbled upon a hidden shelter. Fascinated, she cautiously entered, she gazes deep with awe. Inside, she found an antique, rode-out book that seemed to possess mysteries of the wobbling planet. With shivering hands, she opened the book and started translating the cryptic text.

According to the ancient book, there existed a mythical artifact known as the “Cristal de Tranquillité” hidden deep within the treacherous Wobblewoods—a dense forest teeming with wobbling trees, swaying brushes, and elusive beasts. Mythology had it that the Crystal maintained unbelievable energy, capable of bringing harmony and unity to their chaotic world.

Driven by a burning fascination to fix up order and stability, Mira Bella undertook a difficult journey into the heart of the Wobblewoods. Ahead her way, she met face-to-face with countless challenges, confronting wobbling branches that terrorized to strike her off balance, and jagged topography that changed course beneath her feet.

But Mira Bella stood undeterred. Her stubbornness fueled her at every stage, and she used her biological defense mechanism to ward off any trouble that came upon her. She soon realized that her ability to transform into a solid state not only protected her from harm but also gave her the power and resilience to navigate through the unexpected forest.

After days of the relentless quest, Mira Bella reached the sacred amnesty, where the Crystal de tranquillitè awaited her. Its radiant shine soaked the woods in a calming ray, inducing the wobbling entities to calm into tranquil silence. With careful reverence, Mira Bella approached the crystal and gently nestled it in her hands.

As she held the Crystal de tranquillitè, a surge of vitality flowed through Mira Bella’s body, intensifying her natural defense mechanism. She realized that Crystal’s energy could be harnessed to expand strength to the entire world, letting the wobbling entities find balance and harmony.

Returning to Insanityville, Mira Bella shared her discovery with the village elders. Together, they made up a plan to resort to Crystal’s energy and revive peace in their tumultuous kingdom. With incredible respect and reverence, they established the Crystal de tranquillitè in the village courtyard, creating a serene aura that emitted throughout the land.

Slowly, the wobbling objects began to come to terms, finding stability in their movements. The villagers were delighted as their planet turned into a place where solid things were no longer wobbly by default but could decide when to wobble and when to stand firm. It was a delicate harmony that brought unity and a newfound understanding of peacefulness to Insanityville.

Mira Bella, the brave explorer, came to be a revered figure among her people, eternity celebrated for her bravery and her unwavering determination to bring stability to their ever-wobbling world. And as the years departed, the recollection of their once erratic land became a distant saga, a reminder of the tremendous voyage that had led the way for them to a place of enduring peace.

  • The Haunting Reflection

In the quiet countryside of Maplewood, there stood an old, dilapidated farmhouse that had long been abandoned. Locals believed it was cursed, its walls stained with the tragedies of the past. Tales of the supernatural swirled around the property, ensuring it remained shunned and untouched by human hands.

One gloomy autumn evening, a family of four, the Harrisons, unknowingly purchased the farmhouse. Desperate for a fresh start, they saw it as an opportunity to rebuild their lives. However, as the days turned into nights, they soon discovered that their new home was far from the sanctuary they had hoped for.

Strange occurrences began to unfold—the sound of disembodied footsteps echoing through empty corridors, whispers that echoed from within the walls, and flickering lights that defied explanation. The once-loving atmosphere within the family deteriorated as fear gripped their hearts, driving a wedge between them.

Their youngest daughter, Lily, seemed to bear the brunt of the supernatural activity. Night after night, she awoke to find her reflection in the antique mirror in her bedroom distorted and grotesque, as if it were a portal into a twisted realm. The mirror whispered to her, beckoning her to cross over, promising unimaginable secrets and power.

Driven by curiosity, Lily succumbed to the mirror’s allure. Stepping through the threshold, she found herself in a nightmarish dimension where shadows danced with malice and tortured souls whispered their darkest desires. The mirror had ensnared her, trapping her essence in its wicked realm.

Realizing their daughter was lost, the Harrison family sought the help of a renowned paranormal investigator, Professor Jonathan Reed. Armed with ancient relics and forbidden knowledge, he ventured into the farmhouse to confront the malevolent force.

Within the decaying walls, the professor encountered a malevolent entity that fed on the despair and fear of its victims. As he fought to break its grip, the house came alive, its walls contorting and groaning with demonic fury. Shadows swirled, and the very essence of evil seeped into every crevice.

In a final desperate act, Professor Reed shattered the mirror, severing the connection between the realms and freeing Lily from her torturous prison. The evil force, weakened and defeated, dissipated into nothingness, leaving behind a sense of eerie calm.

The Harrison family, forever changed by their ordeal, moved on from the farmhouse, its cursed presence finally vanquished. The legend of “The Haunting Reflection” became a cautionary tale, a reminder of the dangers that lie within the depths of the unknown. The farmhouse, once a beacon of darkness, faded into obscurity, its secrets buried beneath the weight of time.

  • Sahil & the little Chickie

Once upon a time, in a little town, lived a boy named Sahil. He was a very kind and gentle boy. He used to love his elders and younger ones. Sahil also had a deep affection for animals.

One day Sahil was playing in his garden. Suddenly, he saw something coming down from the sky to his garden. When he went near to investigate, he found a little bird lying on the ground, injured and unable to fly. Sahil’s heart ached with pity for the bird. Sahil picked up the bird and took it to his house. He nursed the bird giving medicines and feeding the bread crumbs. He named the bird ‘chickie’. Sahil took care the ‘chickie’ for several days. Chickie became her constant companion. As days passed, Sahil grew fond of the bird . He did not want to lose chickie so he decided to keep the little bird with him forever.

One day, Sahil told his mother that he has decided to keep the chickie in the cage. Her mother scolded him and told him not to keep the bird inside the cage. Sahil became very upset and sat with teary eyes in front of his mother. After seeing Sahil upset, His mother came near to Sahil and said, “Birds are not made to keep inside the cage instead they are made to fly high in the sky”. She further said, “if you truely love chickie set the bird free . Let her fly”.

Sahil understood everything. He understood that love is not to keep the chickie in the cage but it is to free her. Sahil went to the garden and released the bird. As the bird flew high in the sky, Sahil watched it with teary eyes, feeling happy for the bird’s newfound freedom.

Sahil’s mother came and hugged him, telling him that he had learned a valuable lesson. She gave him a chocolate as a reward for his wisdom.

From that day, Sahil’s love for animal grew even more stronger, and he made a promise to himself always to help and protect them. He understood that every creature has its own place in the earth whether it is big or small. It is our duty to love and respect them.

  • The Tale of Sage and the Bird.

Once upon a time, in a distant land of lush green woodlands and magnificent cliffs, there lived a wise and esteemed sage named Chaitanya.

Chaitanya was known throughout the empire for his profound insight and his proficiency to discover solace in the wilderness. He spent his days meditating under the hue of ancient trees, pursuing enlightenment and a path from the heavens.

One sunny forenoon, as Chaitanya sat profoundly in meditation, a colorful bird with feathers that glowed like a rainbow fluttered down from the sky and straddled itself on a nearby branch. The bird was distinct from any Chaitanya had ever caught a glimpse of before. Its captivating magnificence left him in wonder.

Interested in this incredible beast, Chaitanya opened his eyes and welcomed the bird with a warm smile. Surprisingly, the bird answered back by twittering melodiously, as if acknowledging the sage’s presence. Chaitanya found out that this stood no typical bird; it possessed a profound knowledge and an enchanting soul.

Captivated by the bird’s wisdom, Chaitanya formed to immerse in chatters with it. They talked about vitality, spirituality, and the secrets of the cosmos. The bird, whose name was Chaitri, shared profound wisdom and tales that touched the sage’s heart. Chaitri spoke of the interconnectedness of all beings, the strength of love and compassion, and the significance of embracing one’s true self.

As days went around into weeks and weeks into months, chaitanya and Chaitri forged an unbreakable bond. Chaitri’s existence brought tremendous pleasure and enlightenment to Chaitanya’s life, and the sage evolved even wiser with each passing day. He felt blessed to have such a unique friend who shared the mysteries of the cosmos.

One fateful evening, as Chaitanya and Chaitri were engaged in a deep discussion about the essence of existence, Chaitri shared a tale from their own life. It spoke of a time when it was entangled in a cage, incapable to spread its wings and take off freely. Chaitri described the feeling of imprisonment, of longing to explore the immensity of the world beyond its enclosure.

The narrative struck a chord with Chaitanya, who recognized that he too had been living within self-imposed regulations. Inspired by Chaitri’s tale, he understood that true liberation lay in transcending one’s mental and emotional obstacles. With renewed resolution, Chaitanya undertook a journey of self-discovery, striving to unleash his inner potential and live a life of boundless likelihood.

Chaitanya and Chaitri proceeded to share their wisdom and experiences, inspiring everyone they confronted on their path. Their teachings and tales circulated far and vast, touching the souls of people from all strolls of life. The sage and the bird evolved to be symbols of hope, reminding others to embrace their true nature, pursue their dreams, and cherish the interconnectedness of all living beings.

Years passed, and Chaitanya, now an enlightened sage, attained the end of his mortal journey. As he bid farewell to the bodily realm, Chaitri sat by his side, its vibrant feathers gleaming with divine light. Chaitanya smiled, thankful for the profound teachings and devotion he had acquired from the magnificent bird.

With Chaitanya’s demise, Chaitri returned to the skies, its rainbow-colored feathers painting the paradises with vibrant hues. Its harmonious melodies echoed through the woods, reminding all who heard of the remarkable bond between the two, a sage and a bird, and the transformative strength of understanding, love, and sovereignty.

And so, the tale of Chaitanya and Chaitri lived on, encouraging eras to pursue enlightenment, spread love and sympathy, and embrace the boundless opportunities that lie within every one of us.

  • Sophia and the Bug.

Once upon a time, in a tiny village nestled in-depth within a lush woodland, lived a young girl named Sophia. She owned a vibrant spirit and a soul full of fantasies. Sophia had grown up listening to stories of love, where couples found their happily ever afters and shared their lives with someone special. She craved to experience such a love story for herself.

In the village, there lived a young man named Gabriel. He stood handsome, kind-hearted and maintained a gentle demeanor that fascinated everyone around him. From the moment Sophia laid her gaze on Gabriel, her heart quivered with excitement, and she couldn’t help but imagine a fate by his side.

Days veered around into months, and months turned into years, with Sophia secretly having her adoration for Gabriel. She daydreamed about their future together, dreaming of the pleasures they would share and the experiences they would embark on. However, destiny had different plans in store for Sophia.

One catastrophic day, while probing the chasms of the woods, Sophia stumbled upon an injured and helpless critter—a tiny bug. Without hesitation, she carefully cradled the bug in her hands and assisted it back to health. To her awe, the bug began to glow and transform into a peculiar beast she had never seen before—a miniature human-like being with shimmering wings.

The beast introduced himself as Alaric, an enchanted being from a hidden kingdom within the forest. Grateful for Sophia’s compassion, he granted her a wish as a token of his gratitude. Overwhelmed by her unanswered love for Gabriel, Isabella made a hopeless plea. “Grant me the ability to marry the man I love, Alaric. Make Gabriel fall in love with me.”

Alaric, with a somber expression, clarified the restrictions of his abilities. “Love cannot be compelled, Sophia. I cannot make a person fall in love against their will. Yet, I can help you find bliss in a way you least hope.”

With a heavy heart, Sophia accepted Alaric’s words and chose to believe in his wisdom. Little did she know, that his cryptic commitment would soon come to realization.

As time passed, Sophia’s bond with Alaric thrived stronger. They spent their days exploring the enchanting forest, trading stories, and helping each other through life’s ordeals. Alaric’s kindness, wit, and unwavering company gradually restored Sophia’s, shattered heart.

One day, as Sophia and Alaric sat beneath the hue of a majestic oak tree, they spotted Gabriel in the stretch, accompanied by a gorgeous girl. Sophia’s heart slumped as she realized that Gabriel had found love with someone else.

Tears welled up in her eyes, but Alaric gently brushed them away. “Sophia, love comes in many forms,” he said softly. “Sometimes, the way to pleasure is different from what we envision. Take in the unexpected, and you may find joy beyond measure.”

Sophia looked into Alaric’s eyes, realizing the profundity of his words. In him, she found a love that was pure, real, and steadfast—a love that had flourished from friendship and empathy.

With newfound clarity, Sophia made a choice. She bowed to Alaric, took his hand, and said, “Alaric, I desire you. You have filled my life with bliss and devotion that I never thought possible. Let us embark on our own incredible love story.”

As their hands intertwined, a charmed aura encircled them, and they turned into a couple of radiant butterflies, fated to glide through the forest together, eternally entwined in their incredible love.

Sophia and Alaric’s love story became a legend passed down through generations—a

tale of embracing unexpected paths and finding happiness in the most unexpected of places. And so, the girl who didn’t get to marry the guy she wanted to found a love that transcended the boundaries of the ordinary, a love that was destined to flutter and dance on the wings of a butterfly.

  • The Late-Night Aggression

    The Late-Night Aggression

It was the day of Anant Chaturthi of 2018, I (21m) was 19 y/o at that time. The vibe was very positive at that day, I was attending the Visarjana of the Ganesha of our complex. My friend Raghav (21m) was with me. We were of the same age, it was 1:00 at midnight. The place was bhayandar khadi(gulf), that place is already well known for its crime rate. I and Raghav, we both were going towards our home by walking and it was 1.2km away so it almost takes 1 hour by walk. Raghav got call from his home, his dad was scolding him since we both were outside for 7 hours now. But, instead of normal scolding his dad scolded him very badly, he was mad that’s why he put his phone to silent mode. We were half way there to our complex, suddenly we saw a bottle of wine crashing on the road and it shattered all around the road in a particular region. Phew! Grateful that I was not near that area where pieces of glass were shattered, I said to myself. And then we saw a fully drunk guy, of course we knew it was a signal of threat. Yes, a THREAT!!! And you know what was a bigger threat? Raghav being short tempered and he was also mad at that time. I knew if something happens Raghav will react in a bad way, I was wishing that this doesn’t become a street fight. We started walking again, after few steps the drunk guy was also coming towards us. Maybe his home was at khadi, we were facing towards that drunk man and he asked. How much for that watch? none of your business, I said. Notification popped up, He saw phone’s wallpaper which was my mom and me in the picture. How much for that bitch? He asked. Well, you know what can happen, I pulled my sleeves and fixed my finger-rings. Raghav was staring at his eyes like death. You want to be dead? The drunk guy said. Raghav said, not us, but you. Well, she is a bitch that is why I said bitch, he said. Not even a second and my punch landed on his face, it was brutal because I wore rings at that time. The drunk man was running towards me, he fell. Raghav tackled him, well Raghav was a tank according to me, 6’2 and a 102 kg man. No doubt because the drunk guy fell so hard and far. We thought it was the end, but the drunk guy stood up with a piece of glass in his hand. What will you expect in a street fight, he ran towards Raghav. He scratched the hand of Raghav; Raghav punched him and I kicked him on his head. I am grateful that kick was not brutal or else I was in jail right know for attempt to murder. The drunk man fell due to loss of consciousness and we ran towards our complex. Next day we both again got there to check is he alright and he was not there. Maybe he was okay or…. maybe dead. Well, we did not regret it now because it made us more experienced in street fight. But we don’t do it usually until it is necessary.
