  • Caged Until Broken

Not even a few out of lakhs around can tell when exactly their story began. Was it inside a small wooden box piled up one above another or a filthy basement room or on  floor below their mother’s bed?  Can the Messengers of God, the Guards of Temple doors, the protectors of  Home, and owners of court tell us ? Maybe Time will,  One day. What we do up till then?  “WAIT KIJIYE APKO MADAD ZARUR MILEGI” No No believe me you heard it right and i am sure not only this time but hundred mores in this lifetime.

Raahim sits under the sun peaking through the room window thinking what would be the world like outside? To what places do these birds fly? next she looks at the men down and wonders which one is my father? maybe he is, but no he is too dark or that one but he is too short. again a new thought strikes and she thinks to herself Maybe the one who visits mother every night, maybe the one for whom mother gets dressed every time. what does he look like? like me! and her face lit up with a smile. suddenly she her the door open and the mother came inside and closed the windows in hurry blocking both the rain from pouring inside and Raahim’s hopes from reaching the mighty sky.

“Maa can i ask you a question?” No Raahim its time for work go hide there behind the curtains and do not come outside till i tell you to”. “But Maa….. No! Raahim go right now if you listen to me, maa will buy you a candy okay go now”. Obeying to her mother, Raahim ran and hid behind the box before the guest arrived. minutes later she heard a few voice from behind but did not look around why? maybe she wasn’t allowed to. But beautiful Raahim with a smile on her face and hope in her heart thinking maybe this is her father who she will meet tonight, goes into the grip of dark night.  Did Raahim ever go outside? Did the birds tell her about the address they’d fly to? Did she meet her father that night?  Nobody knows, Nobody knows where the birds flew to and where did Raahim disapper. But we know even today there are hundreds of Raahim sitting by the sides of window thinking about questions that Raahim use to think about. May we the world meet one Raahim each and help her chase the answers to her questions before she is broken behind the cage.  The questions are her dream, her right.

    Thankyou!

  • Comeback

The sky was dark, and the moon was the only source of light. John lay on the ground, his body battered and bruised. He had just lost the biggest boxing match of his life, and his dreams of becoming a champion were shattered. Tears streamed down his face, as he thought about all the hard work he had put in.

For months, John felt like he was in a deep hole. Every time he thought about his failure, he felt like giving up. But one day, he woke up with a renewed sense of determination. He realized that failure was not the end, and that he could use it as fuel to come back stronger.

John began to train harder than ever before. He spent long hours in the gym, perfecting his technique and building his strength. His perseverance paid off, and he was soon ready to step back into the ring.

But life had other plans for him. Just when he thought everything was going well, he faced another setback. He injured his shoulder during a training session, and the doctors told him that he wouldn’t be able to box again. It was a devastating blow for him, and he felt like giving up once again.

But John refused to let this defeat him. He underwent surgery and started a rigorous physical therapy program. He worked tirelessly, day and night, and finally, the day of his comeback fight arrived.

As he stepped into the ring, John felt a sense of calm wash over him. He knew that he had done everything he could to prepare for this moment. And no matter what the outcome, he would come back, stronger than ever before.

And come back, he did. John won the fight and went on to become a champion. He learned that failure was not something to be feared, but something to be embraced. It was a lesson that stayed with him for the rest of his life.

  • Am I supposed to?

why do we love people whom we aren’t SUPPOSED to love?

  • An unlikely friendship

This is a story of those  who are completely different it might be due to personality traits, values, points of view, age, income, language, culture, education.

Kylo is not like other foxes. He never barks, bites or even fights. For him, berries taste better than meat. But the most unusual thing that happened was during his first hunt. This forest will never be the same again. “Looks like there are rabbits going that way.” “How can you tell?” Kylo asked. “Their smell has faded but you can still see their tracks in the snow.” Alfa replied. “Are you coming, son?” “Uh, I can just explore other prey.” Kylo said. “This is your first hunt, remember daddy?” Before Alpha could add anything to this conversation, his son rushed into the woods.

Come on Kylo, you can do it. Just kill something and bring it home, Kylo thought. There’s nothing to fear. He searched for hours. Not a single animal in sight. Suddenly, he saw a small black bird perched on a pile of ice. This is Kylo’s chance to prove himself to his pack. He crouched on the frozen ground and hovered over the helpless bird. As he prepared to charge, Kylo noticed that his wings appeared to be damaged. Feeling guilty, he jumped up, looked into her colored eyes, and said, “Hello. My name is Kylo. Which is yours? The bird backed the truck from a tall tree. “It’s…Bright…Eye…” the bird replied fearfully. Knowing she was injured, Kilo carried her on his back and took Bright-Eyes to his home.

“My family won’t like you here so you’ll have to stay hidden.” “Why Kylo?” Bright Eyes wondered. You don’t have to answer that question. Everyone knows that birds and animals are enemies of each other. It has been like that for many years. Kylo grabbed a leaf covered in sap with his jaws and carefully placed it on Bright-Eyes’ wounded wings. “It might hurt a little bit, but it’ll heal your wing,” Kylo said. “Thanks,” Bright Eyes praised, flinching in mild pain. Something seems strange, Kylo thought. It was as if the darkness inside of me had been soothed. He held his head high and smiled happily. Bright-Eyes’ eyes sparkled like a thousand stars at dusk. Suddenly, it was as if there was a telepathic connection between these two unlikely friends. A sense of peace surrounds them and stillness blooms in their minds. No sound can end this. Not even another fox’s paws slamming on the rocky ground.

Suddenly, the connection is blocked. There is something wrong. Flaming eyes stared at them from the cracks in the cave. Scratching on hard rock can damage all the cobs in the forest. “And now?” Bright Eyes asked. “Follow me,” Kylo announced. He carried her on his back and rushed out of the cave. As he ran, Kylo could hear the voices of the livestock, even his father’s. “How can you do that?” is all it understands but barking. When the moon rose in the distance, they disappeared into the forest and were never seen again.

Everyone is completely different from each other and this is how many of unlikely friendships happen.

  • HUMANITY.

In the bustling city of Metropolis, where skyscrapers towered and people rushed by, there lived a man named Ethan. Amidst the chaos and noise, he embodied the spirit of humanity, shining brightly like a guiding star. Ethan believed that the essence of being human lay in acts of compassion, empathy, and a deep understanding of one another.

Every day, as he walked the crowded streets, Ethan would lend a helping hand to those in need. He would offer a warm smile to the weary homeless woman sitting on the sidewalk, sharing his lunch with her and reminding her that she was seen and valued. He would patiently listen to the troubled teenager who felt lost and offer guidance, encouraging them to pursue their dreams. In hospitals, he would sit by the bedside of the sick, holding their hands, and comforting them with words of hope.

News of Ethan’s unwavering kindness began to spread throughout the city. People from all walks of life were inspired by his selflessness, and they, too, began to embrace the power of humanity. Acts of goodwill rippled through the city like a wave, with individuals helping their neighbors, volunteering at shelters, and supporting charitable causes.

One day, a devastating storm struck Metropolis, leaving destruction and despair in its wake. Ethan, recognizing the urgency of the situation, mobilized the community to come together and assist those affected. He organized a shelter for the displaced, ensuring they had a roof over their heads and warm meals to eat. Others joined in, offering supplies, providing comfort, and rebuilding homes.

As the city recovered, the spirit of humanity grew stronger than ever before. People realized that they were not defined solely by their differences, but by their shared humanity. They began to recognize the beauty in diversity and the strength that came from unity.

Word of Metropolis’s remarkable transformation reached the ears of neighboring cities, inspiring them to cultivate their own communities of compassion and understanding. A movement spread across the region, igniting a flame of kindness that could not be extinguished.

Years later, when people spoke of Metropolis, they no longer focused on its towering buildings or bustling streets. They spoke of a city where humanity thrived—a place where empathy and compassion were woven into the very fabric of society.

And it all started with one man—Ethan—a beacon of humanity in a world that sometimes forgot its own heart. His belief in the power of kindness had changed the lives of countless individuals, and his legacy lived on, reminding humanity of its potential to create a better world.

In the end, it wasn’t the buildings or the technology that defined a city—it was the people and the spirit of humanity within them that truly mattered.

  • The Boy who cried the wolf.

There once was a shepherd boy who was bored as he sat on the hillside watching the village sheep. To amuse himself he took a great breath and sang out, “Wolf! Wolf! The Wolf is chasing the sheep!”

The villagers came running up the hill to help the boy drive the wolf away. But when they arrived at the top of the hill, they found no wolf. The boy laughed at the sight of their angry faces.

“Don’t cry ‘wolf’, shepherd boy,” said the villagers, “when there’s no wolf!” They went grumbling back down the hill.

Later, the boy sang out again, “Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is chasing the sheep!” To his naughty delight, he watched the villagers run up the hill to help him drive the wolf away.

When the villagers saw no wolf they sternly said, “Save your frightened song for when there is really something wrong! Don’t cry ‘wolf’ when there is NO wolf!”

But the boy just grinned and watched them go grumbling down the hill once more.

Later, he saw a REAL wolf prowling about his flock. Alarmed, he leaped to his feet and sang out as loudly as he could, “Wolf! Wolf!”

But the villagers thought he was trying to fool them again, and so they didn’t come.

At sunset, everyone wondered why the shepherd boy hadn’t returned to the village with their sheep. They went up the hill to find the boy. They found him weeping.

“There really was a wolf here! The flock has scattered! I cried out, “Wolf!” Why didn’t you come?”

An old man tried to comfort the boy as they walked back to the village.

“We’ll help you look for the lost sheep in the morning,” he said, putting his arm around the youth, “Nobody believes a liar…even when he is telling the truth!”

Moral: Liar will never be appreciated once they tell, even telling the truth.
