  • The Unforgettable Night

    The Unforgettable Night

Once upon a time, in a quaint little town, a train embarked on a journey through the moonlit night. Inside one of the compartments, six passengers found themselves sharing a space filled with anticipation and mystery. They had heard tales of goons and burglars lurking around the train stations, adding an extra layer of caution to their travels.

Among the passengers was Mr. Benjamin Hargrove, a wealthy man known for his shrewdness and meticulousness. He was on his way to his daughter’s grand wedding, carrying a fortune in gold ornaments that he intended to present as dowry. The compartment was abuzz with whispers about his valuable cargo, and the air crackled with a mix of intrigue and concern.

Among the passengers sat a shady figure, a heavily veiled woman whose face remained hidden from prying eyes. Her presence raised eyebrows and evoked a sense of mystery. No one knew her true intentions, and the unease among the passengers grew with each passing minute.

As the train departed from the station, the passengers settled into their seats, sharing stories and engaging in idle chatter to pass the time. Little did they know that their journey was about to take a perilous turn.

Suddenly, without warning, the train screeched to a halt, causing the lights to flicker and the entire compartment to jolt with a collective gasp. Panic ensued as everyone wondered what had caused the abrupt stop. Anxiety grew thicker, fueled by the tales of station goons and burglars that had circulated among the passengers.

Before anyone could react, the veiled woman sprang up from her seat and swiftly opened the compartment doors. In the blink of an eye, four armed men appeared, their faces concealed by masks. Fear gripped the passengers as they realized they were at the mercy of ruthless thieves.

The burglars wasted no time and swiftly began to loot the compartment. Bags were rifled through, valuables were snatched, and despair filled the air. The other passengers broke into tears, their worldly possessions slipping away before their eyes.

However, amidst the chaos and despair, Mr. Hargrove remained strangely calm, his emotions veiled behind a mask of indifference. Unbeknownst to the burglars, he had cleverly hidden his precious gold ornaments inside a seemingly innocuous vegetable bag that he carried with him.

The thieves, focused on swift plunder, paid little attention to the unassuming bag of vegetables. It went untouched, its true value concealed from their greedy eyes. As the burglars made their hasty exit, clutching their ill-gotten gains, the other passengers marveled at Mr. Hargrove’s ingenuity and foresight.

Relief washed over the passengers when they realized that the wealthy man had managed to outsmart the burglars, safeguarding his precious wealth. They applauded his cleverness, amazed at his ability to stay one step ahead of the criminals.

The train eventually resumed its journey, carrying with it the tale of the daring burglary that had taken place on board. The passengers, though shaken by the events, found solace in the cleverness and resourcefulness of Mr. Hargrove. They shared stories of his remarkable feat, spreading his reputation as a mastermind who had outwitted the thieves.

And so, as the train continued on its way, the story of the burglary lived on, a testament to the resilience and cunning of one man amidst a chaotic and uncertain world. Mr. Hargrove became a legend among his fellow passengers, forever praised for his quick thinking and his ability to keep his wealth safe from the clutches of those who sought to take it away.

  • The Unknown

Fear. Everyone fears some thing or the other.  An experience or a moment where you either do or die, this feeling in the pit of your stomach that a storm is about to hit. A storm that is unknown.

Rick, a teenage boy who knows nothing about the wonders of life. A young man who has never feared the unknown never knew what was gonna hit him.  “Is anyone home?”, a voice came from outside of the door. Rick was alone at the house, his parents were out on a business trip for the night.

“Who is it?”, asked the teenage boy. “You have a parcel”, said the mysterious man. “Just leave it there”, Rick then with a confused look on his face opened the door and found a box with an empty note on it. It was packed nicely with a sweet yellow ribbon on top, figured that it was a mail, Rick carefully opened the box just to find a book inside. The book looked more like a journal with a “DON’T OPEN IT” text written in bold letters. Why would someone send a parcel when they clearly don’t want you to open it. So many questions ran through Rick’s mind. Was it the delivery man who wrote it? Or was it the sender?

He then finally opened the book and looked at the first page, “THE MAN FROM THE UNKNOWN” was written in red bold letters, turned to the second page. “The man has come from the unknown to find himself a friend. The man will peek at you, he will slowly then enter the home, he will look for you ,in the kitchen cabin, in your bedroom, and then your closet, your bathroom, under the dining, he will then find you”. ” The unknown man will have his new companion with him”.

Scared by the creepy book Rick closed it and thought it was just someone playing prank. “Knock knock”, a voice came not actually a knocking sound but an impression of it. Rick with a feared expression looked at the window in his bedroom to find two creepy eyes with a glimmer of red looking at him. The man from the window then in a horrid voice spoke, “The man has indeed found himself a new friend”.

  • Truth always wins?

Once upon a time there was a girl, named Aarna. She was sweet, polite, decent and belonged to a good family in Kanpur. She shifted to Mumbai for her studies and stayed as paying guest with two other girls Sakshi and Vidya in a 1 BHK house in Bandra.  She was like the girl next door, very relatable at times and very helpful. Sakshi on the other hand was an extrovert, outspoken and bold. Vidya was a bookworm, introvert, shy and kind of a coward. Despite of their different personalities, they got along really well, they became so close to each other that it was like a new family for them.  They all went to the same college and were in the same class. They passed their first year degree with good grades and decided to celebrate.

They went clubbing the next day their results came out. It was only the three of them. While dancing on the loud music one guy approached Sakshi but Sakshi blew him off. So Aarna said, “Common he was so hot why did you have to blow him off”. Sakshi was like he’s not my type. Aarna said, so then go find your type.

    Sakshi – ‘ Now’ , Aarna – ‘ Yes common let’s find a guy of your type ‘

When they were talking to each other,  the guy that approached Sakshi, heard their conversation and bumped into Sakshi and asked, ‘ who’s your type, I bet I can be exactly what you want!’. Sakshi looked at Aarna and Aarna gave her a nod to go talk to him , but Vidya stopped her, she said, ‘ you don’t know him’ . Aarna said, ‘ She will have to talk in order to know him’.  Sakshi went with that guy , his name was Aakash, they enjoyed each other’s company, exchanged numbers then later Aakash with his friend Aman dropped the girls at their home in his car.

After a few days, Sakshi and Aakash became official. Aarna was the happiest one but Vidya had her doubts, She said, ‘ this guy looks a little off to me’. Aarna was like why ?, he seems fine to me. Vidya asks ‘ do you know where he stays?’ Sakshi replies ‘yes , he stays on rent with his friend Aman just like us in Goregaon.’  Aarna interupts ‘ enough with your doubts, let her live.’ Vidya was like okay fine.

A month later Aarna asked Sakshi to find out of Aman’s single. Sakshi said ‘yes he is’.  Then Aman and Aarna got along really quick and started dating. The four of them started hanging out together, but Vidya felt a little left out. She even tried to talk about it with her friends but they said we’ll find someone for you too. Everything was going really well until one day Aarna came home late, around 1.30 in the morning and she rang the doorbell. Nobody opened the door. She tried to call Sakshi but she didn’t pick up. So she went to their neighbour’s house where they had kept an extra pair of keys. The neighbours were a little pissed for disturbing them so late, she apologized and came to open the door. As soon as she got inside her house, she closed the door, the lights were off, so she went to switch it on. The moment there was light in the room, Aarna saw something that have her shivers. She was shocked, couldn’t move couldn’t speak, she was trembling, tears came falling out of her eyes and then she gathered the courage to scream. Her scream was so loud, she didn’t know when to stop. She fell down on her knees, devastated, disturbed, confused, emotional, too many emotions all together.

What she saw was her friend Sakshi’s dead body hanging on the ceiling fan. Vidya was not at home, Aarna’s scream woke up a lot of their neighbours and they all came checking at their house. One of them called the police. The police came and took Aarna to the police station as witness. They started questioning her, she said that Sakshi had a little fight with her boyfriend maybe that had led her take this drastic step. Police asked about Sakshi’s boyfriend, Aarna gave them the name and address. When police went to that address, there was nobody there. They again interrogated Aarna , she was surprised then she showed them the photo of Aakash. The police said this is Aakash, he’s the son of former chief minister of Maharashtra. Aarna was shocked, she had no idea about this. The police said don’t try to put this on an innocent boy. She said I had no idea who he is. He used to stay with his friend named Aman . The police said, Aman is his cousin brother. You are fooling us around, where is your other flatmate. Aarna replied ‘she has no idea’. The police sent a force to find Vidya. Until then, Aarna was sent home. The next day, police came and arrested Aarna in the murder of Sakshi. Aarna kept shouting on top of her voice that she has not done anything. The police said they have evidence and witness. She asked who is the witness. The police said they have statement of their neighbours that boys used to come to your house everyday and you all used to party all night with alcohol and drugs. Aarna was shocked, she said this isn’t true. There is other part to this story. The police asked ‘you want us to conduct a blood test for you because you know that you did drugs. Aarna said ‘I’m not denying that I did drugs but I was forced, I didn’t want to do it but they forced us’ . The police asked ‘who’? Aarna said ‘ Aakash and Aman’ , they used to bring drugs and they forced us to join them. The police said, ‘ so tell me when was the last time they came into your house with drug’ Aarna replied ‘ a week ago ‘ . The police said, ‘ then how did we find this packet of cocaine in your house?’ Aarna was shocked, she literally had no idea about this. She had nothing to say, but she gathered some courage to question the officer that how does these thing prove that I killed Sakshi ? The police replied ” we have statement of Aman and Akash and they said you were jealous of Sakshi. Aarna said ‘why would I be jealous of her ?’ The police said because you were in love with Aakash but it was Sakshi whom Aakash loved. Aarna was shocked, she said ‘this is all bizzare, not true at all’ . So this isn’t true that you loved Aakash?  “NO” Aarna replied, he’s the one who got close to me. And what did you do when he got close to you? The police asked. Aarna took a moment to put everything into words, she said ‘it was a trap, they did this to us. They killed her, they killed Sakshi, it was then not me” She kept repeating the same thing. Then they put her in jail.

Later that day, Aarna’s parents came to Mumbai and found out that she’s in jail. They came to visit her and after seeing her they could hardly understand anything. They didn’t let her talk until the court hearing.

Two days later the police caught Vidya, she was in her hometown Nagpur. She was brought into jail for confession. She denied knowing anything. She played safe. According to her she had left in the morning of the day Sakshi died, because her mom was sick. She said Aarna, Aman, Sakshi and Aakash used to hangout together all the time and she was not even in the picture. She also denied knowing anything about the drugs or the guys. Then the police asked Sakshi about Aarna having feelings for Aakash. Vidya said that’s true. She said Aarna was not happy with Sakshi and Aakash’s relationship, she tried her level best to break it. Vidya said that Aarna was involved in drug supply and one day she druged Aakash to make out with her against his will but Sakshi found out about it, maybe that could be the reason why she committed suicide. The police took Vidya’s confessions and sent her home.

Then came the day of Aarna’s hearing in the court.  Aarna vowed that she will only speak the truth and that is what she did. She said, ” the four of us got along and started hanging out but we had no idea about their identity, we didn’t know who they were and what they are capable of. They are the one’s who are actually involved in drug business. They try to find a safe place to hide their stock. They gained our trust and hid those packets of drugs at our houses. One day Aakash and Aman came into our house for night out and they also brought a few friends of theirs. So it was me and Sakshi and four other guys. They spiked our drink and when me and Sakshi were druged the four of them raped us and also made videos of it. The next day Aakash came and showed me the video where he was kissing me and he accused me to have taken advantage of him when he was drunk. He then showed that video to Sakshi and said I took advantage of him. Sakshi was very upset with m, I tried to explain her that I could never do that to her but she was so angry with me. Then Aman came and broke up with me for what I did with Aakash. But that day I found out that out bathroom ceiling had a hidden closet where I found packets of cocaine. I instantly understood who did this. So I went to Aakash and told him that I’ll go to police and register a complain about him but he blackmailed me the video that they had made of me and Sakshi. I was shattered, I didn’t know what to do so Aakash told me that if I help him sexually he will delete our videos. I couldn’t think of anything, I didn’t understand what to do so I came home and told Vidya about everything. She said that we should immediately get rid of the cocaine at our home. So me and Vidya both took the packets and emptied it in the sea because we were scared and couldn’t think of anything else. While we were out destroying drugs, Aakash came into our home to see Sakshi but there he found out that his drugs are missing. So he immediately called me and I told him that I got rid of it and also I’m not scared of the video. Aakash got so angry that he leaked Sakshi’s video but not mine because I said I’m not afraid of him. He couldn’t think of anything else so he confronted Sakshi. He told her that he had hidden his drugs in our house worth rupees 250 crores and I destroyed it. He asked Sakshi that who will pay his 250 crores. Sakshi couldn’t think of anything, she didn’t understand a word that he said. Then Aakash showed her the video of hers that he leaked and told her this is how you will have to pay me. I’ll send you customers, you will charge them by selling yourself or do whatever you want to do I don’t care I just want my money back. Sakshi could hardly speak knowing that her video is already out, she was shattered and broken. Then Aakash told her, if you and your friend doesn’t pay me back, I’ll go to the police and file a complain against you that you are involved in drug dealing and it will be very easy for me because when you guys will have a medical check up, it will appear in your system, so you only have two choices, either pay me my money back or send a lifetime in jail.

After that Aakash left. This is when Sakshi committed suicide and I know this because she sent me a suicide note voicemail in my phone before hanging herself, which I heard after reaching home and after seeing Sakshi’s dead body right in front of me.

I was with Vidya the whole time, but while coming home after Aakash’s phone call, Vidya got another call from an unknown number. I’m assuming that call was from either Aakash or Aman who gave her a chance to save herself from all that had happened only if she helps saving them. When I was taken to police station after Sakshi’s death, I forgot my phone at the house which had Sakshi’s voicemail and then I never found it again. Nobody would have seen Vidya coming back to the house to keep another packet of cocaine as an evidence against me because all our neighbours were in police station and who else had the keys to our home. Then she took my phone and disappeared. I’m assuming they offered her a good amount of money for doing what she did. That’s all I have to say. This is my truth and the rest is fake story that they made up to save themselves”.

The court heard Aarna’s confession and took it into consideration and gave another date of hearing which was next week. But until the next week Aarna had realised what would the decision be, as in two years she has very well understood how the system works, how girls are taken advantage of, how corrupt every officer is, how money can bend morals. She was prepared and when the day of the result came she wasn’t surprised to know that the decision was not in her favour. The court said that they don’t have any evidence of what Aarna said. They couldn’t even find the leaked video of Sakshi. Also Vidya’s mom gave her statement that Vidya was in Nagpur on the day of Sakshi’s death. The court sentenced Aarna lifetime prisonment under the reason behind Sakshi’s death and also for being involved in drug supply.

    THE END.

  • Power of Technology

In the sprawling metropolis of NeoCity, where tall buildings sprout from bustling streets, a brilliant young scientist named Dr. Olivia Reynolds has made breakthroughs in the field of neurotechnology. His latest creation, NeuroLink, is a revolutionary device that allows us to connect our minds directly to computers, ushering in a new era of possibilities.

However, the city has faced high-tech crime that has troubled law enforcement. Known as TechWares, cybernetic implants are remotely hacked and turn ordinary citizens into mindless criminals controlled by an unknown master. The city is chaotic, and the police want to make progress.

Mark Sullivan, an experienced detective known for his sharp instincts, was appointed to the job. Mark has a reputation for solving the most complicated crimes, and this is no exception. Equipped with his TechWare equipment, he is determined to uncover the truth in the midst of technology-related crime.

His first clue came when he discovered that Dr. Reynolds’ NeuroLink technology had been stolen from his lab. Suspicion immediately fell on the brilliant scientist. Mark visits her in hopes of unraveling the mystery.

Initially shocked by the allegations, Dr Reynolds flatly denied any involvement in the crime. He explained that NeuroLink technology is not intended to control or manipulate others, but to improve communication and understanding. He stole other people’s inventions and turned them for different purposes.

Intrigued by what Dr. Reynolds said, Mark decided to dig deeper. Tracing the origins of the stolen NeuroLink technology, he ventures into the dark underbelly of NeoCity. His research leads him to a shadowy figure known as Silhouette, a hacker known for selling illegal technology on the black market.

Mark ventured into the underground tech market and came across Silhouette. To their surprise, the hackers revealed that the stolen NeuroLink technology had actually been modified to remotely control the TechWares. However, Silhouette has maintained his innocence of recent crimes, saying that others are using stolen technology for their own agenda.

As Mark continues his investigation, he discovers a secret network of corrupt people within the city’s power structure. He learned that an influential politician, Mayor Ethan Blackwood, had orchestrated these crimes to consolidate his power. Blackwood’s greed knows no bounds and he plans to use his mind-controlled villains to destroy his opponents and gain complete control over NeoCity.

Armed with this new knowledge, Mark races against time to uncover Mayor Blackwood’s evil plans. With the help of Dr. Reynolds, who can take action against the intelligent control technology, they free the innocent victim from Blackwood’s control and send a broadcast across the city that disrupts the neural connections.

In a controversial speech, Mark confronts Mayor Blackwood and reveals his crimes to the world. A corrupt politician, cornered and desperate, he tried to evade justice, but Mark’s relentless pursuit led to his arrest.

Behind the scenes, Mayor Blackwood begins the restoration and rebuilding of NeoCity. The stolen NeuroLink technology has been recovered and is being used for society, as Dr. Reynolds intended.

Known as a hero, Mark Sullivan continues to protect NeoCity from future threats. The crime spree reminds us of the delicate balance between technology and ethics, and the importance of vigilant oversight to prevent abuse of innovation.

Ultimately, the city learns that in a world of infinite possibilities, the true power of technology rests in the hands of responsible users.

  • OBSESSED

    OBSESSED

    PRESENT DAY

I never knew this day would come.

I could hear his footsteps approaching near the cupboard I was hid in. Tears would not stop falling from my face. My heart was screaming and that’s when it hit me that the saying had been true ‘it is always the quiet ones’.

‘Aditi’ he said in a maniacally absurd voice.

I just wished I could go back in time and make all of this right. That was all I could think of in what I think were the last moments of my life. I just wished I never met Ryan ever in my life. I just couldn’t stop myself from thinking what had happened over the past two months and what a mistake I’ve made in my life.

‘Ryan’ was the most beautiful word I had ever known in my life. He had a delicate face with soft features and piercing eyes. He changed my entire life in just a few minutes.

We met through a mutual friend of ours for brunch and that’s when we started casually chatting up. I being an extrovert just wanted to adopt the introvert him and love him for the rest of his life. I kinda liked him and…

Yeah. I just could not find words to describe him. That was how badly he had affected me.

‘Aditi you’re pretty’ he said. And nothing more.

I could feel the blush creeping up in my cheeks.

Ever since that day we chatted, video called and met up at weekends.

The days went on and on. On one pleasant Saturday morning, we were at the beach looking at the sunrise and talking. I just bared my whole soul to him trusting him with my life.

‘Ryan I know you like me’. I said

‘Aditi I know you like me’. He said

We looked into each other’s eyes and shared our first kiss drenching into the warm rays of the sun and in the depth of each other’s love.

Ryan wanted us to move in together.

‘Too soon’ I said to Ryan.

    ‘I love you’ he said.

The honeymoon phase of us living together was the most beautiful until he started placing restrictions on me. He stopped me from going outside with my friends.

    ‘I’m jealous’ he said.

‘That is so cute’ I said.

But his demands started growing and I started to disobey him, feeling why the hell should I obey him in the first place.

He started being abusive verbally. I forgave him. He became more commanding towards me; I still forgave until it reached to a point where I couldn’t take it anymore.

    ‘I’m leaving’ I said.

‘You are not going anywhere’ he screamed.

He hit me in the head. I felt the world spinning and heard him screaming ‘I’m doing this for you’.

My head felt heavy when I woke up and Ryan was nowhere to be found. I tried the door and windows but they were locked. I felt myself panicking not knowing what to do I ran into the kitchen picked the sharpest knife and hid in the cupboard.

    FLASHBACK ENDS

RYAN RYAN RYAN RYAN was all my head could process. I never felt such a terror in my life. He stopped in front of the cupboard and inhaled a deep breath.

He opened the door with a creepy smile. I smiled back apologized for my behavior. He lifted his arms for me.

I stabbed him. I ran away after making his death seem like a suicide. No police enquiry happened and the case closed pretty quickly.

    A YEAR LATER

Now standing in the same beach with another guy holding my hand where I shared my shared  first kiss with Ryan. I did not feel any regret. I protected myself from someone who wanted to hurt me. I accept it was wrong but I don’t know.

I’m human. I have my emotions and my own feelings to process. Sometimes the wrong can feel right. Initially I had problems in dealing what I had done but with the right person by my side I just want to start afresh.  I’m happy.

I DO NOT FEEL ANY REGRET.

  • A Vow

    A Vow

It was a warm March morning for Anusha. It was 6 in the morning when her nephew woke her up. The cute little, dark haired extra chubby evil, Anusha loved him more than anything. She lived for him.

Anusha lived with her 5 year old nephew Kabir and her boyfriend Rishabh  in Mandi house. Delhi had always been close to Anusha especially Mandi house, that’s why she decided to settle here a couple years ago after taking a analyst job in the ministry of external affairs.

Everything was going as usual, a beautiful Sunday where Rishabh was cooking omlette and Anusha was struggling with Kabir to take a bath. And suddenly it was the sound that took the joy from Anusha face . It was so loud, the whole neighborhood felt shocks.

Anusha grabbed her phone and started dialling while looking out of the window. Anusha was unaware of her state, she was pale , cold sweat on her forehead and fear visible in her eyes. She turned to look for Kabir . She saw him clinging to her boyfriend, while Rishabh was looking at her , concerned.

After a couple of unattended calls she finally heard a voice.

    “Yeah?”

“What the hell was that?” Her voice trembled.

” Things are not good ” the person on the other side started sobbing. Anusha got anxious, “Ashish , tell me what happened”

Ashish managed to say while sobbing, ” The guest house is gone . Everyone’s dead. It been bombed. “

Anusha was in utter shock. She was numb for a couple minutes but then the senses kicked in.

    ” We need to go.NOW”

Rishabh’s worst nightmare was there , back again. He always hoped that Anusha’s previous life would never come back , not when Kabir is so close to them.  He made sure that it won’t, but.

Rishabh and Anusha started packing. They packed light but essential things. Kabir was fiercely ordered by Anusha to eat his omlette.

Kabir kept on asking what was going on and where were they going. To be honest neither of them knew. They were pretty sure that this day would never come, they had left everything behind but here they were ready to run again.

They came down the elevator to the parking lot and got into the car and rishabh started driving. He asked , ” someplace in mind?”

” No , i don’t know, just far from here” Anusha was going through her phone. She was trying to find a contact number, someone to ask help for.

The pure innocent soul in the backseat was worried about something else. He was very careful while speaking, ” Are we going on a vacation because I have to go to school tomorrow. Tomorrow is grand parents day at school. I know I don’t have one but i love Anek’s grandfather.”

Anusha was too consumed with her phone but rishabh heard that. He knew what he had do, he had the answer to where to go. But he knew very well if Anusha finds, she would never agree to him . But it was the best chance they had.

He started driving towards the Delhi – dehradun highway. To Kabir’s grandparents.

    To Anusha’s Godfather’s house.

    Echoes of Yesterday

Once a symbol of grandeur, the Victorian mansion—a testament to timeless beauty—now stood as a faded reminder of its former glory. The symmetrical design and intricate woodwork painted a picture of refined elegance. Meanwhile, the peeling paint on the weathered clapboards revealed the passage of time, with the cracked windows and slapping shutters on a windy night, like the one Sophie found herself in today.

The rain beat against the windows of Sophie’s Victorian mansion, echoing the turmoil within her restless mind. After the sudden and mysterious passing of her enigmatic great-aunt, Sophie had inherited the old house. With the somber responsibility came a surprising inheritance—the old house that had been in her family for generations. This Victorian mansion, with its towering presence and whispered tales, held a mystique that both intrigued and unsettled Sophie.

Sophie, with her fiery spirit and love for mysteries, had always fancied herself a modern-day Nancy Drew. She relished the thrill of uncovering secrets and untangling enigmatic puzzles. The mansion, with its hidden corridors and whispered legends, was the perfect playground for her adventurous spirit.

She had spent countless days meticulously cleaning every nook and cranny of the mansion, methodically exploring its various rooms and hallways. But today, her insatiable curiosity drew her toward the attic—a place that seemed to hold the key to unraveling the secrets within the mansion’s walls.

As she ascended the creaking stairs, Sophie’s heart quickened with anticipation, the musty scent of the attic mingling with the excitement in the air. It was as if the attic itself was whispering tales of forgotten treasures and concealed truths, calling out to her, the modern-day detective, to solve the mysteries that lay dormant.

Upon entering the attic, Sophie was greeted by a sight straight out of a forgotten era. The air was thick with the scent of aged books and the promise of forgotten stories waiting to be unearthed. Rays of dusty sunlight filtered through the small attic window, casting an ethereal glow upon the forgotten relics that lay scattered around.

Her gaze landed upon a neglected table, covered in a thick layer of dust. A mischievous smile tugged at the corner of Sophie’s lips as she envisioned restoring it to its former glory—a centerpiece in the mansion that would both preserve its history and showcase its grandeur.

With determination in her eyes, Sophie set to work, armed with cleaning supplies and a keen eye for detail. As she wiped away the layers of dust, she uncovered the intricate carvings and the beauty that had been concealed for far too long. It was as if the table whispered its gratitude, acknowledging Sophie’s passion for breathing life back into forgotten treasures.

But as Sophie cleaned, her hand brushed against a stack of yellowed books, hidden beneath the dust-covered table. Intrigued, she carefully moved them aside, revealing an unexpected discovery—an old wooden box, seemingly untouched by time.

Curiosity tugged at Sophie’s adventurous spirit, urging her to uncover the secrets held within the box’s hidden depths. With a mix of anticipation and excitement, she gingerly opened the lid, revealing a world frozen in time. Nestled amidst moth-eaten lace and crumpled letters, she discovered an ornate key—a key that whispered promises of hidden chambers and long-lost truths.

The brass surface of the key gleamed faintly in the dim light of the attic, its engravings casting intricate shadows on Sophie’s face. She could almost feel the key’s magnetic pull, as if it were a portal to a realm of mystery and intrigue.

A grin spread across Sophie’s face as she held the key in her hand, her eyes shining with determination. “Well, well, my mysterious companion,” she whispered to the key, her voice laced with a hint of sarcasm. “It seems we have a dance to attend, and the mansion is our ballroom.”

With the key safely tucked away in her pocket, Sophie descended from the attic, her mind buzzing with excitement. The rain continued to tap against the windows, creating a symphony of anticipation that matched her racing heartbeat. She knew that she was about to embark on a thrilling adventure—one that would test her wit, unravel the secrets of the mansion, and reveal the truth behind her great-aunt’s passing.

Sophie’s journey had just begun, and she was ready to embrace the challenges that lay ahead. With each step, she grew more determined to unlock the enigmatic mysteries that awaited her, drawing her deeper into a world of romance, humor, mystery, and danger. The stage was set, and Sophie, the modern-day Nancy Drew, was about to leave her indelible mark on the pages of the mansion’s history.

    MIDNIGHT HORROR.

    september 23, 1999

A young girl was walking down the aisle of a big hotel, named after the famous dancer Michael Jackson, the name of the hotel was MicKson. The young girl was wearing a yellowish dress which gives a wealthy smell. And the elegance in her walk helps you to smell the scent of money. With her black high heels, she looked somewhat older than her age with her dressing scene but if you look at her pale skinned face, with cracks on her pinkish lips making it difficult for her to talk because the cracks might open more and she could bleed much more.

MicKson is a hotel situated at the centre of the city forest which is deep enough that there’s no sunlight in there. MicKson, was created there so that people could stay in nature without human interactions and interruption. The hotel area is twice than any other hotel in the city. What’s concerning is, people think something is weird in the hotel as every summer exactly one hundred and one people visit the hotel and no one could find the whereabouts of a hundred people. Only one of the people who were there can be spotted by the police and that person as well doesn’t remember anything.

It all started after the construction of the hotel MicKson was finished in 1988 , the local authorities started to receive a phone call which addressed the concern that people went missing in the MicKson hotel at midnight. The police tried to find people, but since a decade no one was found, not a single hair or body was found. The hotel only opens in summer for a month and exactly one hundred and one people join the hotel as a guest and since a decade a thousand people have gone missing.

The young girl walking down the aisle started getting blurry eyesight and she tried to breathe and she couldn’t. So she tried to touch everything to get the help and also rang the emergency bell, in the hope that someone might come and get her medical attention. But things were not as she thought they would be, and she fell on the ground with her eyes opened. It seemed like her body was paralyzed, she could only see the empty long aisle of the hotel, with the ceiling getting narrowed at the very far from her sight. From the corner of the aisle, she saw people rushing to her. She was glad to see a lot of people there, but they didn’t have eyes, not mouth and the marched towards her in full speed. At the blink of her eyes, she saw them coming nearer and nearer towards her. She gets the craziest thought of her life, that these are not people and she’s about to get crushed, when she thought that she fainted.
