  • Harmony in Four Sisters: A Tale of Unity and Support

Once upon a time, there was a man named Manohar Shastri who had four daughters. Their names were Anushka, Devyani, Guddu, and Alka. They lived in their hometown of Kanpur but decided to move to Delhi. In Delhi, Manohar met his friend Sagar, who kindly offered him a rented house in his own residence.

Sagar’s wife was very clever and resourceful. She started assigning various tasks to all four of Manohar’s daughters. Anushka was responsible for managing the household chores, Devyani took care of the finances, Guddu handled the cooking, and Alka was in charge of the family’s schedules and appointments.

The sisters worked together harmoniously, using their unique skills and talents to ensure the smooth functioning of the household. Anushka made sure that the house was clean and tidy, while Devyani managed the finances diligently, keeping track of expenses and savings.

Guddu, with her culinary expertise, cooked delicious meals for the family. She experimented with different recipes and delighted everyone with her culinary creations. Alka, being organized and efficient, managed the family’s schedule flawlessly. She ensured that everyone’s appointments, events, and commitments were well-organized and no one missed anything important.

As time went by, the sisters not only became a great support system for each other but also formed a deep bond with Sagar and his wife. Sagar’s wife, in particular, was amazed by the sisters’ dedication and hard work. She often praised their skills and expressed her gratitude for their contributions to the household.

One day, a prestigious event was taking place in the city, and Sagar’s wife was invited to attend. She had a presentation to deliver but was feeling unwell. Understanding the importance of the event, she turned to Anushka, Devyani, Guddu, and Alka for help.

The sisters immediately sprang into action, taking over all the responsibilities and ensuring that everything ran smoothly in Sagar’s absence. Anushka managed the preparations for the event, Devyani helped with the presentation slides and financial arrangements, Guddu prepared a delicious meal for the attendees, and Alka handled the coordination and scheduling.

The event turned out to be a huge success, and Sagar’s wife was immensely grateful to the four sisters for their unwavering support. She realized that they were not just diligent and responsible individuals but also possessed remarkable qualities that made them an indispensable part of their family and the household.

From that day forward, the four sisters and Sagar’s family became inseparable. They continued to live together, sharing their joys and sorrows, and supporting each other through thick and thin. Their bond only grew stronger, creating a loving and nurturing environment for everyone involved.

The story of the four sisters serves as a reminder of the power of unity, teamwork, and the strength that comes from supporting one another. It teaches us that together, we can overcome any challenge and achieve remarkable things in life.

  • Love beyond memories

    Love beyond memories

Once upon a time, there was a young couple named Harriet and Emily. They met in college and fell in love quickly. They were both studying to be doctors and were very busy with school, but they always made time for each other. They were both very passionate about helping people and making a difference in the world. Even though there were some months when they had to live far from each other, it was a tough phase for both of ’em but their understanding and bonding worked well, they didn’t give up on each other and eventually stayed together.

After they graduated, they got married and started a family together. They both became successful doctors and were able to help many people.

However, one day, Emily started to forget things. At first, it was small things like where she put her keys or what she had for breakfast. But over time, it got worse. She started to forget important things like appointments and birthdays. Harriet was worried, but he didn’t want to believe that anything was seriously wrong. But the condition was becoming worrisome with time, Emily started forgetting her name, address, her husband and even her kids, there were few incidents when she was unable to recognise them.

Harriet didn’t want to take anything for granted now. He took Emily to see a specialist, and they ran some tests. The results were not so good. Emily was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. That was too shocking for Harriet, he was devastated. He couldn’t bear the thought of losing the love of his life. He could never imagine living without her other half, he loves her more than anything in this world and losing her will be the death of him. Losing someone you love can be one of the most difficult experiences a person can go through. It can feel like a part of you is missing, one can feel like they’re in a fog, and it can be hard to focus on anything else. It may feel like you’re alone, even if you have people around you who care. And Harriet was experiencing the same emotions and feelings.

But now he was determined to make the most of the time they had left together. Outside he pretends to be strong but sometimes it just couldn’t help, when reality hits him hard, he just used to lock himself in the bathroom and cry for hours and more. Looking at Emily now breaks his heart but her eyes heals his soul.

Harriet decided to take a long break and started to take Emily on trips to places they had always wanted to go. They went to Paris, Rome, and Tokyo. They laughed and danced and made new memories together. Even though Emily’s memory was fading, she still knew that she loved Harriet and that he loved her.

But as time went on, Emily’s condition worsened. She had trouble remembering Harriet’s identity and who he was. Emily couldn’t remember if she ever got married to someone. Harriet was heartbroken, but he never gave up on her. He continued to care for her and love her until the end. He showed her their wedding album. He wasn’t ready to give up on her. When Emily insisted, He joined his work again and appointed a full-time caretaker for her.

The caregiver was a kind and gentle woman named Maria. She was patient with Emily and helped her with daily tasks. Over time, Emily began to trust Maria and even became fond of her. Harriet was grateful for Maria’s help, and he knew that she was making a big difference in Emily’s life.

One day, when Harriet was at work, he received a call from Emily’s caretaker. Emily had wandered off and they couldn’t find her. Harriet rushed home and started to search for her. He looked everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found.

Harriet was frantic. He didn’t know what to do. He called the police, and they started a search party. They searched the woods, the park, and the nearby river. But they couldn’t find her.

Days turned into weeks, and Harriet was still searching for Emily. He didn’t eat or sleep. He was consumed with finding her. He went to the news stations and put up flyers. He even hired a private investigator.

One evening, while he was wandering around his apartment, he noticed Emily standing at the edge of the terrace. He panicked. As Harriet looked up at Emily on the terrace, he felt relieved but worried. He hurried towards her, holding her hand gently “Please come down, Emily. It’s not safe up there,” he pleaded. “Tell me what’s wrong. I’m here for you.”

Emily’s eyes met his, filled with a mixture of confusion and sadness. In a soft, trembling voice, she whispered, “I… I don’t know who I am anymore. The memories… they’re slipping away. I’m scared, Harriet.”

He looked at her with those sad teary eyes, he took her in his arms and came to his room. He wanted to say a lot of things but he just couldn’t, something was stopping him, he was losing it all, he wanted to cry, scream, and let his emotions out but again he couldn’t. They slept in eachothers’ arms that night.

The next morning he received a call from the hospital he was asked to visit the institution for Emily’s weekly check up.  Harriet knew that he had to go to the hospital, but he didn’t want to leave his wife alone. He decided to call Maria and ask her to come over and stay with her while he was gone. Maria agreed, and Harriet was grateful for her help.

When he arrived at the hospital, Harriet was greeted by Emily’s doctor. The doctor told him that Emily’s condition had worsened and that she needed more specialized care. Harriet was devastated to hear this news, but he knew that he had to do what was best for Emily.

The doctor recommended a specialized care facility that could provide the care that Emily needed. Harriet was hesitant at first, but he knew that it was the best option for Emily. He made arrangements to have Emily transferred to the facility, and he visited her every day.

Over time, Emily’s condition continued to worsen. She completely forgot about Harriet now, when Harriet used to visit her Emily would just look at him thinking of him as a stranger but only her heart knew there was a special connection. Days passed by, she became helpless and Harriet was broken, doctor already suggested that any worse thing can happen anytime soon.

It was Emily’s birthday, and ofcourse Emily wasn’t aware of it. He visited the hospital with her favorite flowers, her favorite chocolates and the same suit he wore on their wedding night. Emily was looking at him with that pure, unconditional love in her eyes.

Even though her memories had a hazy view, her heart was well aware of the feelings she had for Harriet.

She held his hands but her mind was wandering somewhere else in a field where there were flowers, butterflies, open sky and the wind passing through her hands which were held by her beloved, Harriet. Harriet, She could only think of him at this time. This is what she wanted, Emily-Harriet’s own world. Full of love, hope and emotions. She wanted to live here, she wanted to close her eyes, at this exact moment and wanted to live this dream to the fullest.

Harriet sat by Emily’s side, holding her hand and talking to her as if she could hear him. He told her about all the wonderful memories they had shared together, and how much he loved her. As he sat there, he felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that Emily was no longer suffering, and that she was finally at peace. He sobbed within his breath. His heart was too heavy to hold any kind of feelings. He didn’t want to leave her, but he had to.

As he got up to leave, he leaned in and kissed Emily on the forehead. He whispered “Happy Birthday, my love”. As he walked down the hallway, tears streamed down his face.

Harriet bade farewell to Emily, knowing that their time together had come to an end. Yet, he found comfort in the thought that her memory would forever be etched in his heart, like a rose that never withers.

  • Lost Threads of Time

It rains as I walk down the sidewalk, umbrella in hand, looking at the cold and almost deserted Delhi road. Winter showers are becoming a thing here now. I shiver as a gust of wind passes me, leaving me colder than earlier. An indigo glow graces the horizon as the Sun leaves the plain.

I walk on hurriedly, afraid I’d miss my evening lecture at the university. It has been a year since I returned from the US after completing my PhD in Math. Since then I’ve been working as an Assistant Professor at IIT Delhi. I sometimes wonder how everything would’ve played out if I didn’t leave this place. If I stayed in my country, maybe I’d stay in touch with all my friends. Especially her. Shrugging off her thoughts, I focus on the task at hand. I’m currently teaching a class of undergrads and I’d rather not have them think their professor is a slacker.

Walking briskly, my eyes catch the silhouette of a woman and my breath hitches.

Although it is getting dark around here, it isn’t nearly enough to contain the beauty that stands in front of me. She looks like the seventeen-year-old girl I had loved and lost. Her sweatpants and tee are replaced by a kurta and denim jeans that make her look mature. Her lips no longer look bare but painted on by a lip balm. Maybe it is lipstick. I wouldn’t know. She always teased me about my lack of knowledge in certain areas; colors being one of them.

“Aksh, this is not done. You love learning and gaining knowledge. Yet you can’t remember that the color I’m wearing is lavender, not purple.” She used to puff her cheeks and punch me lightly on the shoulder while saying all this.

Presently, she carries a lavender tote bag on her shoulder and an umbrella to save her from the rain. Last time I saw her at the school farewell, her hair was only shoulder length. She had gotten her waist length hair cut short, and she came to school the next day complaining about how dumb her decision was.

“Aksh, Mumma said this would look good. Ugh. I can’t even breathe with hair entering my eyes and ears. This is torture. This is sadism.” She had groaned. I couldn’t help my smile as I’d told her she looked beautiful. In any other circumstance, I wouldn’t have said that. I lacked the courage. Yet that day, wearing a salwar-kameez with her hair open and eyes surrounded by kajal, she looked beautiful. Make-up didn’t mask her beauty or make her look beautiful. The make-up she did highlighted the beauty of her face. Those brown eyes with a light skin tone looked ethereal as she complained about everything that was wrong with her short hair.

Now, her hair is back to a waist length braid, her face the same as it was a decade ago. All the emotions that I’d experienced as a seventeen-year-old boy threaten to crush my heart. Especially when I remember the reason we stopped talking. We weren’t dating, and it wasn’t a heartbreak. We were just two friends who lost contact with each other after going off to college. She pursued a BS in Physics while I did a B.Tech at IIT. Despite studying in the same school, we lived in diametrically opposite areas of Delhi so our chances of meeting during semester breaks were rare. More so after our high school friend group stopped hanging out. It was just a part of growing up. Sometimes, growing up means growing apart.

“Text me every day, okay?” Her shrill voice ordered me as she had looked at me with teary eyes. “Tell me all about college and how fun it is. Don’t make me miss out on the college experience because I’m not doing a B.Tech.” She had punched me lightly before wiping away the lone tear that escaped her eyes.

I didn’t keep my promise. We stopped talking and it hurt. I didn’t realize until now that I miss her as much as I did when we first stopped talking. I miss how we’d sneak to a library to discuss conspiracy theories against AI or the latest development in physics or math. I miss how we used to fight over who’s dumber and who’s more dramatic. The way we could spend hours talking about science and music and everything in between without needing a break. I miss it all. I miss her.

I walk towards her with purpose. I want to talk to her. I want to know if she has achieved her dream of becoming an experimental physicist or not. I desire to know if she has completed her PhD in Physics, if she’s finally doing what she loves. Moreover, I want to know if she remembers me. If she remembers the time we spent together. I wished I’d told her how I felt. I have no time to think about what-ifs. My hurried steps lead me in front of her, only a few feet apart, and I feel the nerves building up.

My heart beats against my rib cage too fast. I shove my sweaty hand in the pocket of my trousers as I try to tighten my grip on the umbrella. “Hello, Swati.” I hear my voice crack at the end as she stops in her tracks and looks up at me.

“Akshit?” Her eyes stare at me, trying to recognize me. I don’t blame her. I’m no longer her fat best friend and she’s no longer my fat best friend. We’ve both lost weight and grown up.

I nod. “How are you?” I ask, hoping to keep the conversation alive.

“I’m fine. I’m sorry, but I have to go for my evening lecture in the Physics Department. Let’s catch up later. What do you say?” Her eyes shine with an unknown emotion as her fingers fidget with the strap of her bag. I look at her with a proud face. It’s an unfamiliar emotion when the person you’ve seen struggle with their dream finally achieve their dream.

“Yes, sure. I need to go for my lecture to the Math Department. Here’s my number,” I say as I type it on her phone. “Let’s catch up tomorrow. How does that sound?” I hope she says yes.

“Tomorrow sounds good.” She smiles with a proud glint in her eyes as she walks on her way. And I feel like that seventeen-year-old boy who asked his crush out on a date.

  • Moon

Akash sat on the window tracks, looking at the moon shining in the night sky. He watched as the moon hid behind the clouds and played peek-a-boo with everyone down on Earth. A smile crossed his face as he continued to look at the dark sky and the bright moon along with the stars. The number of stars is far more than the number of the moon yet everyone just notices the one moon and praises it a lot more than they do it for the stars. Akash, too, had just focused on the moon.

Through his peripheral vision, he noticed his phone screen had brightened. Must have been a notification but his eyes were now fixed on his lock screen image. He smiled. It was an image of his older brother and him. As the phone screen started to dim, Akash looked at the moon again, comparing it with his brother. There were as much as a few hundred people in Akash’s life. Friends, Relatives, Neighbors, Acquaintances, etc. Its not like Akash didn’t appreciate their presence in his life. He loved them. He adored them. He admired them. Just not as much as he did for his brother. Akash was so used to his brother and his presence, his talks, his mischiefs, his ideas, his beliefs that he couldn’t compare any of that with anyone else. No one was remotely as close as him. Sure, as siblings they had their fair share of arguments and fights, but whenever anything troubled Akash, the solution was his brother. The bond of siblings was strange, he realized, when you are with them, you fight with them. When you not with them, you want to be with them so you can fight with them. The goal is that the conversation must go on, come what may. Silence was never accepted. He never told his brother how much his presence and words mattered to him. Never needed to. He just understood.

Akash now felt a little alone. His brother had moved abroad for studies. Sure, there were people in his life whom he could confide into but were they as close as brother. Not really. He missed him. Just as he misses the moon when its not in the sky. He got down from the window tracks and was about to move to the bed when his phone rang. A smile came upon his face. It was his brother. He sat back and answered the call as the conversation began. He looked in the sky and watched as the moon no longer was behind the clouds.

  • Betrayed

    Ariel’s POV:

Life is beautiful. I am sure almost every one of us has heard this phrase. And it is true, life is beautiful, just not always. Life has its ups and downs, and no doubt when it is going good it can be an extremely beautiful thing. But then when things are not going your way, life can become extremely ugly. There is no knowing what levels of ugliness it can reach to, what pain it can cause. Even though the saying is largely used, life actually has more ugly moments than beautiful ones, and that is why when one finds something, or rather someone, who makes their life beautiful, they try their best to hold onto it. Just like that, even I had someone who made my life beautiful, who filled every moment with joy, who made life worth living. But one day, that someone left me, and that turned my whole world upside down. This is my story, of how my life went from being a heavenly abode, to a torturing hell.

It was April 27th. My boyfriend, Jake, was coming over to my place. Tonight was our 10 month anniversary and we had planned to have a nice romantic candle light dinner at my place. We liked going out in public, but we preferred staying in more because it felt more intimate and romantic. I was just setting up the candles when the doorbell rang. Excitedly, I ran up to the door, but my excitement died as soon as I opened the door and saw the expression on Jake’s face. He looked like someone had squeezed the life out of him in the most painful way.

“What’s wrong?” I asked him, pulling him in.

“I- We cannot be together anymore.” He choked through a sob. This was the first time I had ever seen him this emotional.

My brain refused to process those words. “You’re joking, right? Cause what do you mean we can’t be together anymore?”

“I’m sorry.” He looked at me, hopelessness shining bright in his eyes.

“No. No you cannot do this. Why? And why today, today was supposed to be a celebration.” My voice slightly raising with every word I said, until I was practically screaming by the end of the sentence.

“I’m so sorry.” He was sobbing at this point, and I could feel tears soaking my dress too.

    “But why?”

“I don’t know how to explain this to you. But, um-, I’m already betrothed to one of my dad’s friends daughter.”

“Wait, betrothed as in you are going to marry her? Like an arranged marriage?”

“Yes. This is something that our parents had decided for us a few years back, but they never told us anything. Now when they found out about us, at first they thought it was just a fling so they didn’t say anything. But now that they noticed that we were getting serious, they asked me to breakup with you. They told me that they had already promised their friend that I would marry their daughter, and they cannot back out now, because it will be really good for the business. With this marriage, both my dad’s company and his friend’s company would fuse together and come as one, that would really expand our prospects.”

“So you’re leaving me just so your business could grow? That is so very selfish! I cannot believe you would be so materialistic!”

“It is not being materialistic Ariel! Do you really think I didn’t try to talk to my dad about it? About us? I tried ok! I tried my best. But is he so stubborn. He is not ready to listen to me at all. He said that his decision is final. And I cannot go against him, Ari. He’s my dad.” He desperately tries to explain his situation to me.

“Yes I see clearly. You would rather your business grow than be with me. Do you even love me? Did you ever love me?” I knew he did, but right now my heart just needed some consolation, anything to ease the pain.

“Of course I do baby.” He said softy, cupping my face with his hands, wiping my tears. He then kissed my forehead, and whispered, “I love you so damn much. And I wish more than anything that I could be with you.”

“Then be with me. Please. Please don’t leave me.” I said while hiding my face into his chest while I cry.

    “I wish I could. I’m so sorry.”

He hugged me and we stayed like that for a while, none of us saying anything, just trying to soak this moment up, because we knew it was over. And this was the last time we were seeing each other, the last time we were holding each other, and we wanted to savour every bit of it.

After a few minutes, which honestly felt like a few seconds, he pulled away.

“I have to go now.” His voice hoarse from crying.

I wasn’t even able to say anything, it was like my tongue was tied. He kissed me, slowly. After he pulled back I whispered, “I’ll miss you, so much.”

“I’ll miss you so much more.”

    “Goodbye, Jake.”

    “Goodbye, Ari.”

He said, slowly pulling away from me. He opened the door and left. As soon as he left, I felt like my whole world came crashing down. Like everything suddenly stopped, the weight of what had happened, slowly started to take over me, it pulled me down, under and under and under, till I felt like I was drowning, and nothing could save me. Because he was my lifeboat, and he was gone. I sank to the ground, and just let it all out, not believing that something which made me the happiest just about an hour ago, was gone. Just like that.

  • “Balancing Love and Brilliance”

Once upon a time, in a small town, there lived a 10th-grade student named Saksham. He was a bright and ambitious young boy with big dreams. Saksham’s days were consumed by the pressure of studies, assignments, and exams. He had always been a dedicated student, striving to achieve excellence in his academics. One sunny morning, as Saksham was walking to school, he noticed a new girl named Nikita. She had recently joined their school, and her charm instantly caught Saksham’s attention. Her smile was like a ray of sunshine, and her laughter echoed through the corridors. Saksham couldn’t help but be drawn to her. As days passed, Saksham found himself stealing glances at Nikita during class. He admired her intelligence, her passion for art, and her carefree nature. They soon started exchanging shy smiles, and their brief interactions left Saksham longing for more. One day, after school, Saksham gathered the courage to approach Nikita. He mustered all his strength and introduced himself. To his delight, Nikita responded with warmth and kindness. They began talking about their hobbies, interests, and dreams. It turned out that Nikita loved painting, while Saksham had a hidden talent for writing poetry. Their friendship blossomed into something beautiful, and Saksham soon realized that he had fallen deeply in love with Nikita. However, this newfound love brought forth a dilemma for Saksham. He was torn between his passion for academic excellence and his desire to spend more time with Nikita. The pressure of the approaching board exams loomed over Saksham’s head. His parents and teachers constantly reminded him of the importance of focusing on his studies. They believed that his future depended solely on his academic achievements. Caught between his heart and his responsibilities, Saksham found solace in Nikita’s understanding and unwavering support. She encouraged him to follow his dreams and assured him that she believed in his abilities. Nikita reminded him that life was not just about grades, but also about pursuing happiness and finding love. With Nikita’s words echoing in his mind, Saksham made a bold decision. He decided to strike a balance between his studies and his love for Nikita. He dedicated specific hours each day for focused studying and made the most of the time he had with Nikita. During their study breaks, Saksham and Nikita would explore their town, hand in hand, discovering hidden gems and creating memories. They enjoyed simple moments together, like sitting on a hilltop, watching the sunset, and sharing dreams of a future filled with love and happiness. Saksham’s determination to excel in his studies grew even stronger. With Nikita by his side, he found the motivation to overcome every obstacle that came his way. They supported and encouraged each other through the ups and downs, making their bond stronger with each passing day. Finally, the day of the board exams arrived. Saksham had prepared diligently, striking a balance between his studies and his love life. As he sat in the examination hall, he couldn’t help but feel a surge of gratitude towards Nikita. She had taught him that love and dreams could coexist, and that following one’s heart could lead to extraordinary outcomes. Months later, when the results were announced, Saksham’s hard work paid off. He secured excellent grades, exceeding everyone’s expectations, including his own. The victory tasted even sweeter because he had conquered the academic challenges while embracing his love for Nikita. Saksham and Nikita’s love story continued to flourish throughout their high school years and beyond. They pursued their dreams together, supporting each other every step of the way. Their narrative served as a source of inspiration, serving as a poignant reminder that love and ardor have the ability to flourish, even in the face of academic pressure. And so, Saksham and Nikita proved that true love and a successful academic journey could indeed go hand in hand, as long as they were willing to follow their hearts and support each other unconditionally.

  • Betrothal Betrayal

“Morning, my friends! Wake up now, for today we’re going to see my parents and have breakfast at theirs. Hurry up!” Sheryl cried to a bunch of sleepyheads in the bedroom.

She had brought her college friends home for the winter break. Her parents owned a flat in the city and had her live with her friends over there, while they lived in nearby town where her father was offered a bungalow given his high post. Sheryl had no idea why even her mother didn’t come to see her friends at the flat, and decided they’ll go surprise-visit them today.

They’re five people, so they booked a cab and reached her father’s bungalow in an hour. She saw three-four cars in the driveway, one his own, one by the company, and she didn’t know the rest. The watchman knew his sir’s daughter, so he let them all pass. Sheryl saw a man facing towards the lawn unknown of their presence and ran to hug him from the back. “Look who’s here,” she said.

“Sheryl?” A voice called out. It was her father, at the stairs.

She got puzzled as who he was was who she hugged, and quickly let go to see a young man in his 30s, smiling to her.

“Dad, hi. He wore the same shirt so I — Sorry, sir.”

“Oh, dear daughter. Welcome to her friends. Sheryl, we have the CEO’s birthday party here tonight, and I was busy with all that preps, so your mom and I couldn’t come see you all. How are you, kids? You comfortable at the flat?”

“Hi, Sher. I didn’t expect to see you here today.” Another familiar voice crept out of the house.

“Manny! Hi, hi. How come you’re here?”

“It’s my uncle, the CEO. And his son, who you hugged. We came to oversee the prep.”

She took a minute to absorb the information. Then she told her dad that she expected her friends to have breakfast here, and later go for sightseeing. But he said he and his mom, and the househelp are all busy and can’t host them presently, and he’s sorry. Manny’s dad came out and provided a solution. He asked his son to take all the guests home and feed them. He agreed. Manny’s dad also invited them all to the party.

“Take my driver with you, Sheryl. And another car?”

“It’s fine, uncle. I’ll take mine.” Manny’s cousin said.

They all got seated: Sheryl, Manny and the cousin in one, and her four friends in the other. “I’m Sanjay, nice to meet you.”

    “Sorry for earlier.”

“OMG, did you notice the sparks?” It was her friend, Lara, saying to the other three. “Manny is that school friend, school crush of Sheryl’s. See? And that cousin, you should have seen his eyes when she hugged him. He was all flustered! Oh, this is so cute.”

“Yeah? Set them up then,” Vera said, sarcastically.

Manny’s mother provided them with breakfast, and then she also took leave to oversee the party decorations. Sheryl told Manny that she won’t attend the party as she had her friends who wanted to roam about. Besides she didn’t bring any dress. Sanjay proposed they all go shopping. And Lara instantly agreed and made her friends say yes too.

Sheryl reluctantly gave in. They all went shopping in the nearby mall and bought clothes. The one Sheryl selected was a bit too expensive and above her debit card limit, which Sanjay noticed and paid instead. Sheryl awkwardly thanked him and they all went home. Lara then approached him and Manny, and indirectly told that Sheryl’s single.

“She’s cute, your friend. I like her. Manny? What do you say? Am I too old for her?”

“Shut up, bro,” Manny said, thinking it was nothing but a funny joke.

At the party, Sanjay approached Sheryl and said she looked pretty. Sheryl smiled and before she could reply, the CEO got up and said, “Thank you, my dear friends for this amazing party. I’m so happy. So I’ll return this happiness by an announcement. My son, Sanjay, he’s betrothed! Surprise! Haha. Here, son, come and meet her. It’s your childhood sweetheart.”

  • Ageless Love

Once upon a time, in a small picturesque town, there lived a young woman named Lily. She was an artist with a heart full of dreams and a spirit that yearned for adventure. One day, while strolling through a local park, she stumbled upon an old man playing the violin with an enchanting melody that touched her soul.

Intrigued, Lily approached the man, and they struck up a conversation. His name was Samuel, a retired musician who had lost his beloved wife many years ago. As they talked, their shared love for music became apparent, and they quickly developed a deep bond. Samuel offered to teach Lily how to play the violin, and she eagerly accepted.

Over time, their friendship blossomed into something more profound. They spent hours together, lost in the magic of music, as Samuel patiently guided Lily’s hands on the strings. But their connection extended beyond the notes they played; they shared their hopes, dreams, and deepest fears.

As their duets became more harmonious, so did their hearts. Love had found them in the most unexpected of places. Their age difference melted away as they discovered that their souls were ageless. Each passing day brought them closer, and they cherished every moment, knowing that their time together was precious.

Lily’s artwork started to reflect the beauty of their love story, capturing the essence of their shared joy and passion. Samuel encouraged her to showcase her paintings, and soon their love became a source of inspiration for others.

Their story touched the hearts of the townspeople, who saw in them a testament to the enduring power of love. Lily and Samuel became local legends, a living embodiment of love’s ability to transcend boundaries and conquer all obstacles.

Their romance became an inspiration, reminding everyone that love is not bound by age or circumstance, but rather by the depth of connection between two souls. Lily and Samuel’s love story continues to resonate, reminding us all that sometimes, the most beautiful love stories are the ones that are written by life itself.

    FALLING FOR A FAMOUS JUNIOR

THE STORY IS WRITTEN IN 3 PARTS. THIS IS THE FIRST PART, HOPE YOU ENJOY!

    Part 1- Getting Smitten

It was a regular morning and I had already taken the metro to go to college. On the way I was not able to think much as I just returned last night from my fifteen days Manali trip and was still tired from the journey. I was not much a boy to roam around and meet people but my love for nature was enough that I agreed to go on this trip with some of my old friends, also I needed some time by myself after the hectic semester end exams. After about 20 minutes, I finally reached my department in the university. Before I tell you about my department let me tell you about myself. My name is Sumit Arora, an average looking final year student and as you can already guess I am much of an introvert. I was a week late for the start of the new semester and I could already see a lot of new faces in the campus who were probably my newly admitted juniors. Just as I was trying to adjust myself to the Delhi’s hot weather, I noticed a girl entering into the auditorium, she walked towards me and said “Good Morning Sir” and walked past me. I could not help but turn around and look at her. She was tall, had a very pretty face, big eyes and long hair down her waist. I could no longer look away as long as she was in my sight, as if her sight gave me a feel of fresh cool breeze of Manali and let me tell you I was instantly smitten by her.
After taking a hold of myself I went to my class, the lecture was going on but I could not stop thinking about her. It was not usual for me to look at some girl and instantly feel fascinated. I used to read a lot of books and she appeared to me like the heroin of a best seller romantic book. After the class was over I indirectly tried to inquire about her from my classmates and as I mentioned the tall girl with long hair they knew whom I was talking about. I came to know that her name is Zara Amin and she is an Instagram influencer with thousands of followers. I knew there was something about her but I was totally blown with this information and a bit sad too because now I know she was totally out of my league!!!. [CONTINUED]
