  • A RAY OF KINDNESS

Krishna was on his way home that day, with his paycheck and a heart full of dreams. In order to support himself, he had toiled tirelessly at the construction site in the sweltering heat and torrential rain. He never lost sight of his goals despite the challenges. His attention went to his impoverished family who were excitedly awaiting his arrival as he made his way through the busy streets. They faced many hardships while barely scraping by. He wanted to make an effect in their lives by giving them comfort and opportunities.

He was deep in meditation when he saw a young child sitting by the side of the road, her weak figure hardly covered by her torn clothing. Her eyes shone with purity, yet there was also a trace of hopelessness in them. He approached her out of compassion and asked, “Why aren’t you in school, little one?”. I don’t have someone to take care of me, and I cannot afford to go to school, the girl whispered as she raised her head. His mood faded. He was aware that a good education was the key to a promising future, but this young girl was not given that opportunity. He made a choice at that very time that would alter his life. He made the choice to give her his little salary.

He gave her some cash while smiling. Take this and sign in for classes, he said. “Don’t allow your circumstances to determine your future. He was motivated by his act of kindness. Even though he had few resources, he understood that he had a lot of compassion. He promised to improve people’s lives one act of kindness at a time. He made the decision to found a foundation to assist impoverished youngsters in obtaining an education after being motivated by his own tenacity and thankfulness for his own blessings. He used his money to start a tiny school in his community, and soon it became a haven of hope for many kids who were never given the pleasure of learning. People from all walks of life came forward to assist Krishna’s cause as soon as word of his selflessness spread like wildfire. What began as a single act of kindness developed into a movement for change and compassion.

As the years passed by, Krishna’s foundation developed, influencing countless people and extending far beyond his hamlet. The once-poor youngster he met on that crucial day went on to become her school’s dean and joined Krishna in his quest to improve the world. Krishna’s transformation from a low-paying domestic worker into a source of inspiration and optimism serves as a reminder that all it takes is one small act of kindness to start a wave of goodwill. And in the end, what truly determines our success has less to do with the money we collect than it does with the good deeds we perform for others.

  • Judge: Last judgement

As usual, the judge has entered the courtroom one last time before his retirement. All are shaking hands before the judge enters the court. “Wishing you all the best for one last judgement, you will be truly missed around here,” said Ashok. “Thank you, Ashok,” said the judge. “I will be missing this court too, but…” said this judge, stopped suddenly, and walked away with a smile. As it is the judge’s last day, he should be happy for what he did in his service but instead there is fear that on last day he may do any mistake about judgement. “He is a good man, and he has given many good judgements throughout his life; his honest judgements are the reason why he is admired by all in this court. Even though I am his favourite student, I should have learned from him,” he said, laughing at his client. Ashok was the student of the judge, and to be specific, he is the judge’s favourite student. Because the way that he is arguing and making statements is too good. Ashok is clever, and by virtue of his intelligence, everyone in that court would respect him so much.

As the judge entered the court hall, all stood up, and as he sat down and asked others to sit, A small smile on his face and asked to show today’s cases… As time has moved on, he has dealt with some of the cases as he always does. So one last case remains, and the judge is waiting for his final judgement.

The bailiff there shouts the case number and calls the victim’s name and respective lawyer; he also calls the accused person’s lawyer. A victim named Shreya comes forward. “Where is the lawyer? Call the lawyer; please do not waste the court time,” says the judge. Shreya did not respond to this and stood there silently. “Am I audible to you? Hello, Shreya, are you there? Please call your lawyer,” repeats the judge. There is no answer coming from Shreya’s mouth. “Will my case end like this?” thinks the judge to himself. When the judge is about to shout again, suddenly Shreya shreds into tears, saying, “Why am I alive? I should have died with my husband; no one will help me, not even the law,” says Shreya in a shaky voice. Until then, everyone is milling around waiting for Shreya’s reply, and some are about to leave, but once Shreya responded, things turned around. There is pin-drop silence in the hall now, and everyone is waiting for the judge’s reply. The judge on the other hand, after a minute of calm, said The Court here is to bring justice to everyone; all are equal in the eyes of the law, you, me, and everyone; you lady, fear no one and call your lawyer; we will start solving your case; after all, that is the thing the law has been doing all these years”.

“He won’t come and threaten him”, replies Shreya. “Who is he and who is threatening whom”, asks the judge. Mr. Sagar, my lawyer, won’t come”, says Shreya. The judge responds, “Why is that? Earlier, you mentioned threatening Who is that”. Shreya slowly turns towards the defence lawyer and says “It doesn’t matter who threatened him; there is no way left for me”. After Shreya turned towards the defence lawyer, the judge understood that there was something happening behind her. The defence lawyer is none other than Mr. Ashok, who is a favourite student of the judge. Ashok says Your honour, she is lying and trying to manipulate the case”. Shreya sees it seriously and says “What do I get if I do so “. “By doing so, you can gain sympathy from my lord and get my client punished”, says Ashok. Ashok, be patient. Shreya,  tell me about your case and what you know”, says the judge.

“Your honour My husband and I married one year ago, and my husband earns 25,000 per month. One day my husband came to me and said that he wanted 10 lakhs urgently. When I asked the reason, he said that his friend’s mother’s health was not good. So we were able to arrange 5 lakhs, including Jellewery. As there are 5 lakhs remaining and no bank will give 5 lakhs more without surety, we took 5 lakhs from a money lender at a high interest rate. After a few days, the interest has been paid and the principal has to be paid, but the lender refuses and says that there is more interest to be paid. So an argument has been started, and it has led to a clash. The lender used to come and harass us, but my husband used to argue with him. But

Once the argument became very serious, they went to hit each other. While going to the lender, he said that he would kill my husband. That money lender is Mr. Ashok sir’s client. After a few while returing from the cinema at night, some people sourronded us and killed my husband. Please do Justice for me and my husband. I beg you “, says Shreya in a crying voice.

“your honour What she is saying is a big lie. Yes, I agree that my client and her husband were having many arguments, but why is there no need for my client to kill her husband? Do you have any proof?” says Ashok loudly. Shreya nods her head, agreeing that she has no proof. “See, your honour, this is just wasting the court’s time, Mrs. Shreya, I have one doubt: you said you were not that rich by any chance for money’s sake; have you killed your husband?” asks Ashok sarcastically. Shreya has lost her words; she does know what to say, but she is struggling to say a word. The people watching know that being opposed to Mr. Ashok means keeping your head in the lion’s den. Ashok says, At least if you have any eyewitnesses? No! right”. Once again, the court fell into pin-drop silence, waiting for Shreya’s reply, even though they knew it was over for her.

“I saw her husband get stabbed by four people,” said someone suddenly from the back of the crowd in a ladylike tone. All at once, I turned back and couldn’t see that lady. “Who is it that they can come forward and say what they saw”. A person came forward. The people were shocked not for the statement given by the person but for the fact that the person was transgender and gave an answer. “What a transgender person said that,” says Ashok sarcastically. “All are equal in the eye of the law,” says the judge, loud enough so that the last row can hear it clearly.

“What have I seen?” Asked Judge. “I have seen four people stab her husband, but due to fear, I couldn’t go near them, but I shouted from far away. After hearing my voice, everyone has left, but I think it is too late to save her husband”.

“It is not a transgender voice; it is a male voice”. Said money lender. All have been shocked, even Mr. Ashok. “What is that? How do you know that is not a transgender voice?” says the judge. The lender keeps silent; the defence sees him and tries to convey its mistake”. In the meantime, transgender people have submitted the video of the stabbing to the judge, and it was confirmed later that it was the work of that money lender. Even though the defence lawyer wants to convict him and the judge rejects him. Everyone is waiting for the judgement given by the judge.

“Everyone is equal before the eye. I, this girl, even though I am transgender, there is no discrimination. I appreciate that being transgender is not a crime if you haven’t said what you said would be a crime, but I don’t think you have done that. And coming to the money lender, you made a mistake and tried to hide, so you were punished by non-bailable life in prison, and Mr. Ashok, you have helped the person, knowing he has done murder. I know it was your work, but knowing that you have abused the victim, and that too about her husband, I suspend you for 1 year from any court. Thank you, Jury, for your service today. Court is adjourned,” says the judge.

The judge feels that it is the best judgement he has given, remembers that it is his last judgement, and walks with no guilt in his heart. Everyone gave an applause to the judge for his Last judgement.

  • A letter to heaven

    A letter to heaven

True we don’t realise the value of a moment until it turns into a memory. One sunny afternoon, I received a devastating news that my beloved grandmother, whom i affectionately called Nani, had passed away in her sleep. I was heartbroken and missed Nani deeply. I found solace in the memories we created together and the stories Nani told me

In her grief, i longed to communicate with Nani once more. I wanted to tell her how much i loved and missed her, and how much i wish she was still there to share my joys and sorrows. But how could I reach her , who was now in heaven?

I’ve determined to find a way. I’ve gathered my art supplies and sat down at my desk, determined to write a letter to heaven. With each stroke of my pen, i poured my heart onto the paper, sharing my deepest thoughts and feelings.

“Dear Nani,” i began, my hand trembling with emotion. “I hope you are doing well in heaven. I miss you more than words can express. The world feels a little emptier without you here. I wish I could hug you one more time and tell you how much I love you.” I continued to write, sharing stories of my daily life, my dreams, and my aspirations. I described the beauty of the blooming flowers in Nani’s garden, which now I take care of in her memory. I asked for guidance and strength, knowing that Nani was watching over me.

After finishing my letter, i folded it carefully and placed it in an envelope and kissed it gently before tucking it under the pillow, hoping that somehow my message would reach my beloved grandmother. That night, as i lay in my bed, i couldn’t sleep. I stared up at the ceiling, searching for answers in the twinkling stars. Suddenly, a soft breeze swept through my room, and a warm, comforting presence filled the air. I felt a sense of peace wash over me.

In the midst of the stillness, a single, radiant star shone brighter than the rest. It seemed to dance and twinkle, as if it acknowledged my letter. Overwhelming with joy, i  whispered, “Thank you, Nani.”From that day forward, i found comfort in knowing that my love for Nani transcended the boundaries of life and death. I continued to write letters to heaven, sharing my hopes and dreams, knowing that my messages would be carried by the wind and the stars, reaching  Nani’s loving spirit.

  • Questannaire within

Have you ever wondered, what would have happened if there was no such word as ‘why’?

There would have been endless curiosities and questions among people but no solution to it.

However, even in this era there are people around us who hesitates and are often

recognised as – introverts because they never really expose their thoughts. But, what are

    their thoughts, actually?

One fine evening in the lasts of autumn, a delightful girl covered with a woollen scarf and

having her hands inside her sweater was walking by the riverside. Her name was Susie

which was not often recognised by her elementary school friends because of her introverted

nature. She always had this hesitation inside of her whenever she even tried talking to

somebody. Though, she made her closest friend throughout this phase which was Susie

herself. She often used to talk to herself and question things by challenging her mind but

after all, an echo of silence as an answer.

Susie that day sat by the hazed grass cliff alongside the river and stared at the beautiful

orange sky endlessly until she saw a hot air balloon passing by. She had a numb brain and

continuous stare on it. She asked herself, “ where do these hot air balloons even go? Or who

even blows them, man! That sounds tiring..” and ignored the thought for a white until she got

distracted by a voice again coming from that giant balloon asking for help and all scared.

Susie mutters and wonders, “I wonder how it feels like to end a scary and challenging task..”.

Susie started connecting things with her life and started questioning herself even more that

something might look challenging but when it ends it satisfies the most, although, she

mid-thought got called by her mom for dinner.

While walking back home, she saw white pores of pollens flying all around her which made

her tremendously happy but she wondered again, “Why do the wind has to be so rude and

destroy a pollen full grass like this!?” She gets frustrated and as she gets back home she

holds herself up and puts the character behind by asking her mom the same, her mother

smiles and replies, “everything happens for good Susie and the wind actually helps the

pollen”. Susie got her doubt clear but what her mother did not realise was Susie had a

flabbergasted impact of her words. Susie did not sleep that night and thought all night long

and connected everything she had experienced with – ‘happened for a reason huh?’.

Next morning, Susie was simply a new person. With a big smile on her face and questions

on her tongue instead of her brain. She figured maybe sometimes it is okay to let your

intrusive thoughts lose and let things go. Her family was happy with the change in her

behaviour and she made tons of friends in that one day only.

So, sometimes it is fine to ask, to put your thoughts before you, let yourself be satisfied and

be relaxed in that fine evening of autumn instead of having a questionnaire within.

  • A time travel to the past

Hello friend A Time T s, do you know I had an amazing incident with me that I had travelled 1,00,000 lakh years ago to past. Let me tell you the whole story. It was our summer vacation and we had planned to visit the place Japan. As my father had already booked our flight ticket.

So, when it was Sunday we woke up early in the morning and reached the airport and took of the flight to another airport and from there we went took another flight to direct Japan. And reached the Tokyo airport. So, then we took one day break because we were very tired and exhausted. So, the next day we went on a camping in am forest and we saw there a very big tree. There was also a big hole in it.

We went inside it and saw a mic that told us how much years ago we will go. So, I told 1,00,000 lakh years back. So very bright light came and we saw that we really came back to past as I have saw this type of images and things in my history books. I saw that it was very green as it has more trees and the the air and water was too clean . There were many kinds of animals like saber tooth tiger, mammoth, etc.

There were also some people who were hunter-gatherers. They were living caves and were using tools made up of wood, stones, bones, etc. When we saw much things we came back to our time and enjoyed our rest holidays but the time travel to the past was really awesome and cool and we all really enjoyed it so much.

  • Across Devil’s Triangle

    Day 1, 7th August, 1975

    Dear Diary,

I’m Sarah. Sarah Lancaster. Yes I’m that girl whose family of scientists have taken up the mission to set course across the Bermuda Triangle region, also known as the Devil’s Traingle and check upon the mysteries reported in that region and look for a scientific cause. My father, John Lancaster apparently thinks that there is a scientific reason as to why ships and planes disappear in that region. I think he might go to the bottom of this research but only if we ourselves don’t get lost. My father and my mother ,Jonah Lancaster who happens to be my father’s assistant thought it might be a good idea if I joined them too in this once in a lifetime expedition. So along with my parents and their team of 10 members, the ship crew members and me, we set our course for the voyage from the coast of South America to the western part of North Atlantic Ocean where our mystery lies.

    Day 2, 8th August, 1975

    Dear dairy,

So far so good. The captain says we’ll reach the main area of tension within 5 days . The weather’s good, there’s no possibility of any storm in the water for the next 6 days, that’s what the forecast says. The scientific team is getting prepared for their research work. A bright sunny morning and still I sense danger, I just hope that they get done with their research soon.

    Day 5, 11th August, 1975

    Dear Diary,

Things have started to get weird here. None of us have been able to sleep for the last 24 hours. They say that we are getting near the Bermuda Triangle hotzone and I’m always sensing an impending doom. The weather is slowly getting bad even though it wasn’t supposed to. Mom is sick and so are most of the other crew members.

    Day 8, 14th August, 1975

    Dear Diary,

The crew members are missing. Our ship is in the middle of a storm and the captain of the ship along with the other staff members are missing. They are nowhere to be seen. It’s just me, my parents and a terrified group of 10 scientists onboard. Dad says we are very close to the devil’s triangle. We don’t know for how long we can resist the storm. My mom’s health is detoriating, she can’t even open her eyes. My head feels heavy and I feel soo sleepy as if someone has drugged me heavily. I don’t know if science can explain all this.

    Day 15, 21st August, 1975

    Dear Diary,

The search for the crew is still on. There’s not a single trace of them anywhere in the ship, we cannot even find their luggage. It’s as if they never existed. The storm stopped last night but I think we are lost, our ship has been covered by only clouds for the last several hours. My father and his team mates are trying their best to understand what’s happening and come up with scientific solutions. But, I could read the disappointment in their faces, they were failing. Not even science could justify the disappearance of the crew, all the scientists were awake at night they didn’t even see the crew escape. All the compasses are broken, none can read the directions. We are amidst a lot of unrest.

    Day 17, 23rd August, 1975

    Dear Diary,

My father tried to jump off the ship today. Luckily, one of his team mates noticed him and dragged him inside. He claimed that some voices were calling him. He didn’t sleep for the last few days he was clearly hallucinating. I don’t even know how we will get out of this place. Today we were supposed to set the course for the journey back home. But now, maybe we’re lost, maybe we are also like those ships who got lost in the Bermuda Triangle. It’s no science. Science doesn’t justify the incidents that have been taking place. Everyone has lost hope. They all look outside as if they are waiting for death to come and grab them.

    Day 20, 26th August, 1975

    Dear Diary

All I remember is last night another storm hit us and we lost control. I’m scared. I gained consciousness sometime back. I’m on a raft sailing through the deep blue ocean and dark clouds above. I screamed. There’s no sign of mom, dad or the ship. I found myself on the raft with my diary and some canned food which would barely last till the next day. There’s no sign of any kind of life. I don’t know, I don’t understand the mystery of this place. I wait patiently. I wait patiently for death.

  • The Vanished Painting

    The Vanished Painting

A decaying old building once stood in a small town in the rolling hills. According to legend, the castle was once home to renowned painter Frederick Morley, whose passionate works fascinated the world. Morley, on the other hand, had long since faded into disappearance, his works lost in the records of time.

Lily, an aspiring art historian, stumbles upon a vintage store one sunny afternoon and is drawn to a strange painting covered in dust. The artwork depicted a lovely rural scene with a hidden path leading to a beautiful waterfall. Lily had an inconceivable connection to the piece and decided to purchase it.

A strange feeling washed over Lily as she hung the picture on the wall. The colors blurred and the room turned around him. He realized he was standing in his favorable spot as his suspicion faded.

Lily, confused but excited, set out on a journey to solve the mystery of the painting and its artist. He discovered through his research that Frederick Morley had vanished under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind unfinished business.

Lily dug deeper into the mystery, driven by a never-ending fascination, determined to uncover the truth. He discovered Morley’s old diary and expressed his desire to conduct time travel experiments. Could the painting have been a time portal?

Lily slid into the picture, surprised and excited, understanding she was in the past. He looked at the warm earth and immersed himself in Morley’s former world.

Lily discovered a long-lost secret hidden within the castle walls while investigating. Morley had created a masterpiece, a painting so magnificent that it alone had the power to change the course of history. However, the painting was closed and hidden from the public eye, and the artist’s memory faded into obscurity.

Lily’s determination was renewed, and she decided to restore the Morley estate. He revived a long-forgotten image and revealed it to the world. Its beauty fascinated art enthusiasts and awakening Morley’s interest in lost works of art.

Lily’s extraordinary journey taught her the importance of preserving history and the transformative power of art. She had unlocked a world of wonder through the forgotten painting, bridging the gap between past and present and ensuring that Frederick Morley’s brilliance would never be forgotten again.

  • “Whispers of the Phoenix: Amelia’s Harmonious Quest”

Once upon a time in the enchanted kingdom of Elariel, a young girl named Amelia found herself caught in the web of an extraordinary adventure. Amelia’s heart was a symphony of whispers, for she possessed the rare gift of speaking the language of animals. Her ability to listen to the murmurs of creatures great and small had always enchanted her, but little did she know that it would unfurl a tapestry of wonder and magic.

One golden morning, as Amelia ventured through the ancient forest near her village, fate’s invisible hand led her to a wounded phoenix, its feathers flickering like embers in the twilight. The radiant bird, lost and trembling, sought solace in Amelia’s tender touch. With a voice as gentle as a lullaby, she offered her hand in a dance of healing and compassion.

The phoenix, with its voice a melody of hope and yearning, confided in Amelia. It had been torn asunder from its kin, their ethereal reunion yearning for the sun’s descent. The realm whispered tales of a celestial enchantment, woven beneath the twilight’s embrace, where all phoenixes converged, their vibrant plumage igniting a spell to restore balance to the world.

Driven by empathy’s flame, Amelia pledged to aid the phoenix. She embarked upon a quest through labyrinthine forests, crossing treacherous rivers that whispered siren songs, and surmounting trials set by mischievous elves, who challenged her with riddles as slippery as moonlit shadows. Through the labyrinth she ventured, steadfast in her resolve, as the pulse of destiny thrummed within her veins.

Days melted like stolen moments, and at the pinnacle of a mountain peak, Amelia’s weary feet found solace. The last of the phoenixes awaited, feathers aglow with a vibrant kaleidoscope of hues. As the sun cast its final brushstrokes upon the sky’s canvas, the phoenixes gathered, their wings an aurora of rebirth.

In a moment of sublime symphony, the phoenix Amelia had saved merged with its brethren, completing the celestial circle. The tendrils of the spell, woven with the strands of Amelia’s connection to the animal realm, surged through her like a starlit river, infusing Elariel with rejuvenation and serenity.

With the touch of the spell, blooms unfurled like delicate sonnets, rivers sang with crystal clarity, and harmony danced upon every leaf. The villagers, their voices a chorus of gratitude, rejoiced in Amelia’s valiant spirit and her kinship with the mystical creatures that had become her guiding constellations.

Amelia, forever emblazoned in the tapestry of Elariel, became a legend, known as the Child of the Phoenixes. With her heart forever entwined with the pulsating rhythm of the fantastical realm, she continued to protect and nurture the emerald sanctuary she cherished. And whenever the wind sighed through the trees, the whispers of the creatures would echo Amelia’s name, a testament to her indomitable spirit and the enchantment she had breathed into their lives.

  • BOND-THAT NEVER BREAKS

In a small urban neighborhood, nestled among blooming gardens and white picket fences, lived a young girl named Emily. She had always longed for a companion, someone to share her secrets, and shower with affection. One day, her wish came true when her parents surprised her with a fluffy golden retriever puppy named OREO.

From the moment they met, a deep bond formed between Emily and Oreo. They became inseparable, exploring the world together with endless enthusiasm. Oreo was not just a pet; he was her confidant and source of unwavering love.

As the years passed, Emily faced the trials and tribulations of growing up. Through joyous triumphs and heartbreaking disappointments , Oreo remained a constant source of comfort and understanding. He would curl up beside her when tears stained her cheeks, his warm presence reassuring her that she was never alone.

Oreo’s unconditional love taught Emily valuable lessons about compassion and loyalty. She learned to see the world through his eyes, finding joy in the simplest of things and embracing the present moment. Together, they reveled in the beauty of sunsets, chased butterflies in the park, and shared countless belly laughs.

Time flew by, and Emily blossomed into a young woman, ready to embark on her own adventures. Her heart ached at the thought of leaving Oreo behind, but she knew it was time for them to part ways. With a heavy heart, she bid him farewell, promising to always cherish their memories.

Years passed, and Emily’s life unfolded in unexpected ways. She experienced new places, met new people, and even had a family of her own. Yet, through it all, there was a void that nothing could fill. She yearned for the unwavering companionship she had shared with Oreo.

One day, fate intervened. Emily stumbled upon a local animal shelter and found herself drawn to a scruffy, lonely dog in a corner. Their eyes met, and it was as if time stood still. The dog’s tail wagged eagerly, his eyes filled with longing. In that moment, Emily knew she had found her new companion.

As she brought the dog home and saw the spark of love in his eyes, Emily realized that the bonds we form with our pets transcend time and space. They teach us about love, resilience, and the beauty of second chances. And so, with her new furry friend by her side, Emily embarked on a new chapter, grateful for the enduring gift of pet love and the immeasurable joy it brings.

  • Prologue

“Is there no way to save my son?”

“Sir, we need to transplant a heart immediately.”

The surgery was difficult; one beating heart ceased beating and was replaced with a new mortal essence, which caused one mother’s tears and the family to pace in front of the operating room. The father’s tensed face and the grandmother’s recitation of prayers. A brother took a hushed breath while keeping his eyes fixed on the OT.

    “Congratulations, it was successful.”

Their gratefulness whispered to the doctor as their eyes glistened with joy. Their lungs took in the comfort. However, the father has to walk away from the family.

“How much money is required, then?”

“There is no cost for the donor, sir. When they passed away, they wanted to leave a legacy.” The doctor informs while smiling dejectedly.

Father pauses to say, “I see,” before returning his focus to the physician. “who are they? Can we meet up? I must at least express my gratitude.”

“The donor’s husband does not want to meet you because the family long ago took the body home. He opposes this vehemently. When he arrived, the procedure had already been completed. Because your son needed a heart..” The doctor sighed heavily while gazing at the ground.

“The donor also consented in writing to give their heart. Therefore, don’t feel bad.” the doctor swiftly added, while observing the remorse in the parent’s eyes.

“In any case, if he is well and his body has accepted the heart, he can be discharged.” The doctor grinned as he left the area.

“Thank you, doc,” Father said with gratitude and the doc smiled while walking away.

                                                                                                                     ⋇⋆✦⋆⋇

The donor’s husband sobbed uncontrollably as he hugged the coffin of his beloved while hot tears streamed down his scarlet cheeks. Although sympathies were being expressed for the family, the husband didn’t require any of that. Just give him back his love, sweetheart, and everything, and act as if the catastrophe never happened.

A baby’s gentle hiccups cause the husband to turn around and look at his mother-in-law, who is attempting to quiet the 10-month-old. Quickly reaching out to his in-law, he demanded his son.

    “Ro—”

“Please, only he can now give me the courage.” The grandmother hesitated before giving her grandson. When the father hugged his son and held him close while he shed a few silent tears, she bit her handkerchief.

“Baby, be calm. Your papa is here.” He stroked the boy’s pink cheeks while gazing at the small nose that reminded him of his love, who had been asleep for all eternity.

“Your father is only able to breathe because of you. Otherwise…” The spouse cast a glance at the casket, which had been decorated with white flowers. He cries while closely embracing his son.

He still finds it difficult to accept reality. He squeezed his eyes, hoping to wake up. Although, his son fisting his shirt was proving him wrong. However, his son is the one helping him not to break down completely.
