  • The World Outside

    The World Outside

The real world, outside the boundary of leisure,

is the world that gives you not much pleasure.

A world of sadness, a world of pain,

the war has started, started again.

Too late to stop it, much too late.

The anger has risen, so has the hate.

Innocent people, nothing do they we’re wrong

but should not their then, live much wrong?

    Mothers fathers, husbands and wives,

all destroyed by the enemy’s knives.

    People die, buildings shatter,

the party, the ones responsible for matters.

Children look forward to their mothers’ arrivals, mothers arrivals,

but the mothers are in the hands of the rivals.

So, then what answers the children’s wait?

Only cruelty, hardness, anger and hate.

They try to survive, how they try,

but they are homeless and left to die.

Nobody to turn to, nowhere to go

they’ll have to face the cold winds that blow.

  • My Dog Kane

    My Dog Kane

    I love my dog,

    She’s a German Shepherd.

Her eyes are small and brown and sad.

    When she’s done something wrong

    her ears flop down,

she puts her head down on the ground

    and she seems to say

“I’m sorry … I will not do it again.”

When my friend, Tom comes over

    She jumps all over him

and licks him in the face-

    sloppy, gooey, drooly and smelly!

    She never bites and

she always loves to meet people.

    When she’s good.

    She does as she’s told.

    She sits,

    Stays,

    Retrieves,

and comes when you call her.

She learned of things at Dog’s School.

Every morning she came into my room

and licks my nose to wake me up

    And I cuddle her.

    Kane is three years old.

Dad says she will live till she’s twelve.

    I hope she never dies!

  • The Wind

    The Wind

The wind which passes earth today,

    comes to the west.

It flows and the flies to that direction,

which the sun has chosen to rest.

Cooling us on the this hot day,

the wind dances through the trees.

It flows and flies to the west,

    Over land and Seas.

Flying to the west it passes,

    Every house and shop.

    Dancing through the smooth sunlight,

The wind does not care to stop.

Now it has found it’s resting place,

    Now it has calmed down,

But I will miss the hearty wind,

which came tumbling through the town.

  • The Morning Glory

    The Morning Glory

As the sun rises up into the sky,

Light comes to earth and the darkness dies.

The Sun beams down as if to say

“Time to start a whole new day!”

The sun rays scatter on the ground,

    Making shadows all round,

The Butterflies dance through sweet sunbeams,

From flower to flower they go as teams.

Draped around trees, that looks so bold and tall,

Are dark green veils, not aged at all,

And on these bloom colorful flowers

Helped to grow by the sweet spring showers.

The dimpled drops of dew, like glass

Hangs upon light green shoots of grass

And so the last page is turned in the story,

    About the wonderful morning glory.

  • The War

    The War

    Fights night and day,

    it must be awful;

    Losing friends, relatives, parents,

    Not going to school,

    Not being able to laugh.

    This is not a dream.

I do not want it to be the reality.

    Stop this cruel fight.

    Let there be peace.

    Let everybody return home.

    Let everybody be happy.

Let everybody be good to each other.

  • In My City

    In My City

    In my city

    are lots of people,

    rushing around and

    pushing through

    the crowds.

    They’re going home to tea,

    Their work is done.

They will have a happy time

    and watch TV.

    Goodnight everyone.

  • A Little Frog

    A Little Frog

Once upon a time, there was a little frog. He lived in a pond in which all other aquatic animals and amphibians lived together. They were like a family. He was extremely happy because he had very good friends.

They used to enjoy each other company.

But one day he was jumping up and down when a man caught it “I will give this frog to my children” he said.

He went home and gave his children the Frog. They were happy to have a pet. They took good care of him. But one day he died. They cried very much Then the man told them that how it is in the end.

We all will die one day. We are mortal. Everyone on this earth will die one day. You have to accept this.

Whatever that has taken birth on earth will obviously die one day or the other.

    Don’t be sad. Accept this.

  • The Winter

    The Winter

The trees are heavy with snow,

    Christmas is here.

The smoke rises from the houses, all is white

    … It’s winter …..

    Falling, the snow is falling,

All the birds sing in chorus the branches,

of the trees heavy with soft and fluffy snow.

Hanging on the door of the homes,

    the Christmas garlands.

Made from the holly leaves and,

    the red shining berries.

Under the Christmas tree, there are all the presents.

    The epiphany is near:

the socks are ready hanging by the fire

    or by the children’s beds.

    The children enjoy themselves

    skiing or making snowmen.

Their scarves wrapped around their necks.

Carrots and buttons animate their faces.

    Now it’s all silent.

    …. It’s winter…..

  • Fury In My Home

    Fury In My Home

    Fury was a pup

    When I was crawling about

She’s coming and lick my face

    and happily jump around.

    But Fury was smarter,

    She grew faster than me.

Mom says I learned to stand up

    by holding her tail!

She never let me walk straight,

but would wag her tail hard

and make me fall, and say, “WOOF-WOOF

    as if she was laughing!

  • An Embarrassing Switch

    An Embarrassing Switch

I do not know what caused it but Mr. Jacob had given me a 35 out of 40 for not crossing an equation’s neatly.

Then he said that, “it is a typical case of women. They just cannot think,”

All the boys thought it was funny but the girls did not. I was so angry that I wished that he would turn into a woman, so that he would never insult them again. I had just wished this when “BAP” there was a lady in a miniskirt, high heels and purple lipstick standing in front of me. I could not understand who this lady was I wondered where is Mr. Jacob? I had a close look at the lady and noticed that she was wearing glasses and not simple ones but butterfly ones like Mr. Jacob used to wear Then I realized Mr. Jacob had turned into lady!!!

Nervously I called out his name and a squeaky voice answered “yes”.

He got embarrassed by his voice and started crying and groaning.

From his groans you could hear, “I should have never (sniff) teased women (sniff). I could not bear it, and I wished that he would turn back to normal.

Then, KAPOV, there was Mr. Jacob again.

He told me that, ” Women are not that bad. They Just threaten you, they do not kill you. ”

But still he has given its his habit, he only insults women when he knows that I’m not around to change him.
