Chapter 41: The Warehouse Operation

Date: 24^th July 2012

Place: Porunthavakkam and Othivakkam

 

Kannan’s car started and moved from Porunthavakkam.

The car of the Axe force team followed them with the Spy axes following them.

 

They reached Othivakkam at 7.20 p.m.

It was dark and they checked on with their map on their mobile phone.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir, we are around 400 m from the Warehouse”

Kannan said,”Ok, we will walk from here”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”ok sir”

Kannan said, “The axe force team also can join us now”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

Kannan took his mobile phone and dialled to Yuvaraj.

 

Yuvaraj answered the call, “Hello sir”

Kannan said,”Yuvaraj, you people can get down from the car and walk towards the warehouse”

 

Yuvaraj said,”ok sir”

Kannan said, “You need to reach the west side compound wall”

 

Yuvaraj said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “But, you should not come on the eastern side compound wall”

 

Yuvaraj said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “The eastern side wall has a gate and a CCTV camera”

 

Yuvaraj said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “Make the spy axes team also to follow your path and reach the spot”

 

Yuvaraj said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said,”Ok, Over”

 

The call got disconnected.

Kannan and Pugazhendhi walked in the darkness through the fields.

 

They reached the rear side entry of the warehouse.

The compound wall was around 6 feet in height.

 

Kannan said, “Let us wait here till the Axe force arrives here”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

 

They waited for some time.

After 15 minutes the Axe force team also reached the spot.

Kannan asked, “Do you have the weapons and grenades ready?”

Yoganand said, “Yes sir”

 

Kannan asked, “Where are the spy axes team?”

Yoganand said, “They will be here in another five minutes”

 

Kannan said,”mmm…Ok”

Kannan said, “Remember that; always use a grenade against the robot”

 

Yoganand said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “If it is a human, then shoot them below their knees”

 

Yoganand said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “At any cost, we need Viswanath alive”

 

Yoganand said,”Ok sir”

At that time the spy axes team also reached the spot.

 

Kannan said,”Ok, start the operation”

Yuvaraj and team hopped over the compound wall.

 

Some of the Spy axes members also followed them.

Four members of the spy axes team stayed with Kannan and Pugazhendhi outside.

 

After five minutes some gun shots got heard.

Kannan and Pugazhendhi got disturbed on hearing the gunshots.

 

There were metallic noises which got created.

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir, they are using the monkey robots”

 

Kannan said, “Yes”

At that time a bomb exploded inside.

 

Kannan said,”Oh! our people has used a grenade”

Continuous gunshots got heard inside.

 

Kannan said, “Will we go inside?”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…ok sir”

 

Both of them climbed the wall and Jumped inside.

They ran towards the warehouse.

 

On the right side lane inside the compound of the warehouse, the tempo was under fire.

Yuvaraj and Yoganand were lying dead before the tempo traveller.

 

Many metal pieces of the robots got found lying around it.

Some of the men of Viswanath were also lying dead around the tempo.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir, they have tried to use the robots against our people”

Kannan said, “Yes, our people have used grenades”

 

Kannan asked,” Where are the others?”

Pugazhendhi said, “We can see inside the warehouse”

 

Kannan said, “Come on let us go”

Chapter 40: Interrogation of Muthuraman

Date: 24th July 2012, Monday

Place: Porunthavakkam

 

Pugazhendhi took his gun and pointed at the head of Muthuraman.

Pugazhendhi said, “Now tell us where the tempo traveller and the robots are?”

 

Muthuraman said, “Sir, I don’t know anything”

Kannan said, “We have solid evidence against you”

 

Muthuraman said, “Sir, I will tell what I know, but they will kill me”

Kannan said, “We will protect you”

 

Muthuraman said, “No, you can’t “

Pugazhendhi said, “Tell us the truth”

 

Muthuraman said, “My friend Viswanath is having the tempo right now”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Who is he and where is right now?”

 

Muthuraman said,”Viswanath is having a warehouse in Othivakkam”

Pugazhendhi asked, “What kind of warehouse?”

 

Muthuraman said, “A warehouse to store imported dress material”

Pugazhendhi asked,”hmmm…is the tempo there?”

 

Muthuraman said, “Yes, but if they come to know that I have told the truth, they will kill me”

Pugazhendhi asked, “How many people are there?”

 

Muthuraman said, “There may be 10 to 15 people”

Pugazhendhi asked,”Viswanath sits there right?”

 

Muthuraman said, “Yes sir”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Is there any CCTV camera fixed in that warehouse?”

 

Muthuraman said, “Yes sir, on the front gate side”

Pugazhendhi asked, “what about the rear side?”

 

Muthuraman said, “Rear side there is no gate, but people may be in watch keeping”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Who is the boss for Viswanath?”

 

Muthuraman said, “I don’t know sir, I will get only instructions”

Pugazhendhi said, “And you will give your vehicle to thieves?”

 

Muthuraman said, “You can’t understand sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “What?”

 

Kannan said, “You idiot”

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir, what can we do now?”

 

Kannan said,”Mmm…we need to arrest that Viswanath immediately”

Pugazhendhi said, “But he says there is a group of guys”

 

Kannan said, “We will make some of the guys from the spy axes team to stay here”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “Then we will go to the warehouse”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…that will be a good idea”

 

Kannan took his mobile phone and dialled to Yoganand.

Yoganand answered the call, “Hello sir”

 

Kannan said,”Yoganand, we have got the culprit”

Yoganand said, “Great sir”

 

Kannan said, “Now you send 2 guys from the team of spy axes here”

Yoganand said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “And be ready, we need to go to Othivakkam”

Yoaganand said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan disconnected the call.

The time was 6.45 p.m. at that time.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir, the night time is about to start”

Kannan said,”mmm…I know”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “We have 15 men and robots”

Kannan said,”mmm…yes”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “What are we going to do?”

Kannan said, “We should not lose time”

 

Kannan added, “So we will go straight to that place”

After five minutes two members from the Spy axes team came to Muthuraman’s house.

They knocked the door.

 

Pugazhendhi opened the door for them.

Kannan asked, “What are your identification numbers?”

 

They said, “We are 7 & 8”

Kannan said,”Ok 7 and 8, you are responsible for this guy”

 

They said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “There is a lady locked up in that room”

 

Kannan added, “Until we complete our operation, nobody moves out from here”

They said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “There are some food items available in the kitchen here”

Kannan added, “You people can use them”

They said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said,”Ok, take care, come on pugazh let us go”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

 

They came out of the house.

The 7 and 8 of Spy axes locked the door from inside.

 

Kannan and Pugazhendhi walked to the car.

Chapter 39: A Worst Fellow

Date: 24^th July 2012, Monday

Place: Porunthavakkam

 

Kannan asked, “Is the tempo traveller with registration number TN 07 BF 7615 yours?”

Muthuraman said,”mmm…no”

 

Kannan gave a strong punch in his face.

Muthuraman shouted in pain,”Aaah!”

 

Kannan said, “We are police officers, tell me the truth”

Muthuraman said, “Sir I don’t know about what you are telling”

 

Kannan gave another punch in his mouth.

Blood got oozing from his mouth.

 

Muthuraman shouted in pain.

Pugazhendhi said, “If you tell us the truth, you will be safe”

 

Muthuraman was shivering in pain.

His eyes got filled with a tremendous amount of fear.

 

Kannan said,”Pugazh! See he fears, so he is the culprit”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir”

 

Kannan said, “Search the house”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir”

 

Pugazhendhi went inside all the rooms of the ground floor.

He could find no one.

 

Then he went to the upstairs.

There was a room locked from the inside.

 

Pugazhendhi knocked the door.

The door did not open.

 

He started to hit the door and shouted, “Open the door”

The door opened and a young lady appeared before him.

 

She could be around 26 years old.

Pugazhendhi asked, “Who are you?”

 

She said, “My name is Vimala”

Pugazhendhi asked, “What are you doing here?”

 

Vimala said, “I am his friend”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok go downstairs”

 

Vimala came to the downstairs.

Pugazhendhi went inside the room.

 

It was the bedroom and many things were in a disturbed manner in that room.

Pugazhendhi said,”Hmm…she is a prostitute”

 

Pugazhendhi’s aim was not to catch the prostitute.

Hence his eyes searched the room with anxiousness.

 

There was a mobile phone lying on a table in that room.

Pugazhendhi took that mobile phone and saw.

 

The screen saver picture of that mobile phone was Muthuraman’s picture.

Pugazhendhi said to himself,”hmmm…this is his mobile phone”

 

There were five cupboards in that bedroom.

Pugazhendhi started to search the cupboards one by one.

 

While opening the third cupboard, he saw a blue diary.

He opened the diary, it was Muthuraman’s diary.

 

He had written many events of his life in that diary.

He made a run through in a quick manner.

 

He found the names of Rawat, Farooq and Sirish Kumar.

He kept the diary inside his vest.

 

He did not want to show it to Kannan at that point of time.

He came out of the room and got to the downstairs.

 

Kannan was enquiring the lady Vimala.

Pugazhendhi asked, “What is she telling sir?”

 

Kannan said, “She says that she is a friend of him”

Pugazhendhi laughed,”Ha! Ha! Ha!”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Do you know who we are?”

Vimala said, “Police?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, correct”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Now tell us the truth, are you his friend?”

 

Vimala said, “No sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “Where are you from?”

 

Vimala said, “Chennai”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Which area in Chennai?”

 

Vimala said,”Pattinapakkam”

Pugazhendhi asked, “How do you know this man?”

 

Vimala said, “Today morning only, he picked me up from marina beach”

Pugazhendhi said,”hmmm…he is a worst fellow”

 

Vimala got dumbfounded.

Pugazhendhi said,”Kannan sir, do you want anything to ask from her?”

 

Kannan said,”mmm…Lock her in any one of the room, our aim is this guy only”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok Vimala, we are in an urgent and important case”

 

Vimala said,”ok sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “So, you stay in that room, we will send you soon”

 

Vimala said,”Ok sir”

Pugazhendhi sent Vimala to a bedroom on the ground floor and locked her in that room.

 

Pugazhendhi came back to Kannan and Muthuraman.

Chapter 38: Got the Guy

Date: 24^th July 2012, Monday

Place: Porunthavakkam

 

Pugazhendhi said, “This Porunthavakkam is on the Westside of chengalpattu”

Kannan said,”mmm…ok”

 

Kannan added, “We will stop our car at some 100 meters before that Muthuraman’s address”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “And we will walk and reach his home”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Sir, I have my gun inside my clothes”

 

Kannan said,” I too have my gun”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “first we will enquire him if he tries to escape we will see what to do?”

Pugazhendhi asked, “What if he tries to commit suicide”

 

Kannan said, “We should first hit him and tie him up”

Pugazhendhi said,”ok, that will be the best move”

 

Kannan said, “Then we will enquire him in his house itself”

Pugazhendhi said,”ok sir”

 

The time was around 5.40 when they reached Porunthavakkam.

They identified the location of the address of Muthuraman’s house.

 

They left their car at a distance of 100m before the house and started to walk.

The Axe force team stopped their car before 500m from Kannan’s car and started to wait in a patient manner.

 

The Spy axes team halted their van before 200m from the Axe force team.

Pugazhendhi and Kannan reached the house of Muthuraman.

 

The house was on the main road.

It looked like a small bungalow.

 

It had a car parking facility within its compound.

There was no security guard placed in the house.

 

Pugazhendhi and Kannan opened the gate and went inside the house.

The door got locked from inside.

 

A car of swift model got parked in the car parking area.

Pugazhendhi said, “Looks like a business man”

 

Kannan said,”hmmm…one businessman is spoiling other businessmen”

Pugazhendhi smiled at him.

 

Pugazhendhi looked at the car’s registration number.

It read as” TN 07 BF 3312”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir the car number is different”

Kannan said, “Why do they need to have the same number for a car and a tempo traveller?”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…ok”

Kannan pressed the switch of the door bell.

 

The door opened and a man of age around 43 years appeared before them.

Kannan asked, “are you Mr.Muthuraman?”

 

The man said, “Yes, what do you want?”

Kannan said, “we are doing a regional survey”

 

Muthuraman asked, “What detail do you want?”

Kannan asked, “How many of you are in your family?”

 

Muthuraman said, “I am staying here alone”

Kannan asked, “where are your family members?”

 

Muthuraman said, “I have not yet married sir”

Kannan asked, “Then what are you doing alone in this house?”

 

Muthuraman asked, “Do I need to answer this question?”

Kannan said, “Yes”

 

Muthuraman said, “Now, please go away and don’t disturb me”

Kannan slapped on Muthuraman’s face.

 

Muthuraman fell over the wall nearby and got hit in his face.

Muthuraman asked, “Who are you?”

 

Kannan Pulled out the gun and pointed it towards him.

Kannan said, “Go inside, we need to enquire you”

 

Muthuraman put his hands up and went inside.

Kannan and Pugazhendhi followed him.

 

Kannan said,”Pugazh! Lock the front door”

Pugazhendhi locked the front door.

 

Kannan said, “sit in that chair”

Muthuraman sat in the chair in that hall.

 

Kannan said,”Pugazh! take a rope and tie this guy to this chair”

Pugazhendhi searched for a rope in and around the house.

 

He found one and fastened Muthuraman with the chair using that rope.

Kannan said, “at last! We got the guy”

Chapter 37: A Truth Unveiled

Date: 24^th July 2012, Monday

Place: Pazhamathur

 

Kannan said, “The monkey robots have different abilities programmed within them”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, they can cut, weld, fire and even kill a person by stabbing them with a knife”

 

Prakash said,”Oh, they do all these actions?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir, I need to talk some confidential matter”

Kannan said,”Ok, the Axe force team can wait outside”

 

Prakash said,”Ok sir”

All the five members of the Axe force team went outside of Pugazhendhi’s cabin.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Sorry sir, I thought of showing you the video clip”

Kannan said, “No Problem, please open the clip”

 

Pugazhendhi opened the video clip and displayed his computer screen before Kannan.

Kannan watched the video clip.

 

Kannan said, “Definitely this proves their presence in your region”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir”

 

Kannan said, “I am waiting for a call from Ezhilarasan”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Who is he?”

 

Kannan said, “I have told him to find the address and ownership details of the vehicle”

Kannan added,”Ezhilarasan is junior officer in my office”

 

Pugazhendhi asked,”Ok sir, once we get the address details, what will be our plan?”

Kannan said, “We cannot give more time for the thieves to operate”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir”

Kannan said, “Sure, we will do”

 

The time was 4 O clock in the evening.

At that time, Kannan received a call from Ezhilarasan.

 

Kannan answered the call, “Hello Ezhilrasan”

Ezhilarasan said, “Good evening sir”

 

Kannan said, “Good evening, tell me”

Ezhilarasan said, “Sir, the owner of the tempo is Muthuraman”

 

Kannan asked, “Where is he?”

Ezhilarasan said, “The address is No.58, Thunjam road, Porunthavakkam”

 

Kannan took a paper from Pugazhendhi’s table and wrote the address.

Kannan said,”Oh! I see”

 

Ezhilrasan said, “That is the detail I have collected sir”

Kannan said,”Ok, thank you, I will come back to you later”

 

Ezhilarasan said,”Ok sir, thank you”

The call got disconnected.

 

Kannan said,”Pugazh, we have got the name of the tempo’s owner”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Will we go now?”

 

Kannan said, “Yes, we need to, but we will go in non-uniform”

Kannan said, “Spy axes and Axe Forces are already informal dress”

 

Pugazendhi asked,”Ok sir, give me half an hour, I will come back”

Kannan said, “I will change my dress and be here”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

Saying so, Pugazhendhi left the office and went to his house.

 

Pugazhendhi changed his dress and came back to the office at 4.45 p.m.

Kannan called Yoganand and said,”Yoganand, me and Pugazhendhi will go in our car”

 

Kannan added, “You people follow us”

Yoganand said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “The spy axes team should always be in a periphery of 1 km from our team”

Yoganand said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “If we call, they should come immediately”

Yoganand said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “And the axe force team should always be in a periphery of 500m from my car”

Yoganand said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “Never you should be away from us”

Yoganand said,”Ok sir, we will maintain the distance”

 

Kannan said,”Ok, Pugazhendhi come on let us go”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan and Pugazhendhi went out of the police station and entered the car.

The car started and left the police station.

Chapter 36: A Meeting and an Introduction

Date: 24th July 2012, Monday

Place: Pazhamathur

 

Prabhu said, “You are always gifted man”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…is it so?”

 

Prabhu said, “All the challenges are reaching your workplace”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Are you feeling jealous?”

 

Prabhu said,”hmmm…yes”

Pugazhendhi said, “I can’t do anything for that”

 

Prabhu said,”Ok, You continue with your work”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, I will contact you later, bye”

 

The call got disconnected.

Pugazhendhi’s mind was restless and he was feeling very excited.

 

The time was running very fast.

It was 3 O clock when Kannan’s car entered the campus of the Pazhamathur Police station.

 

There was another Police car and a Van following Kannan’s car.

The team was big.

 

The officers in the Pazhamathur Police station saw the team and exclaimed.

Kannan got down from his car and entered the Police station.

 

Following him, a team of 5 officers came into the Police station.

Kannan entered Pugazhendhi’s cabin.

 

Pugazhendhi got up from his seat and saluted Kannan.

Kannan said,”Ok, sit down”

 

The five officers also entered the cabin of Pugazhendhi.

Pugazhendhi said, “Good afternoon everybody”

 

Everyone said, “Good afternoon sir”

Kannan said,”Ok, gentlemen please take your seat”

 

Apparao had arranged the chairs for them already.

Everyone sat in the chairs provided there.

 

Kannan said, “As I said, please meet Mr.Yogananad, Mr.Deepak, Mr. Prakash, Mr. Yuvaraj and Mr. Palranjan”

Pugazhendhi said, “It is my pleasure to meet you”

 

Yoganand said, “Thank you, sir”

Kannan said, “And for you people, Pugazhendhi is a new person”

Everybody said, “Yes sir”

Kannan said, “But for me, he is an old colleague”

 

Kannan continued,” He is one of the best performers in our department”

Everybody clapped their hands.

 

Pugazhendhi smiled at them.

Kannan said,”hmmm…and we did an operation against the Business thieves”

 

Kannan added, “But the thieves were smarter in technology”

Kannan continued, “Yet we managed to trace them”

 

Deepak said,”Oh!”

Kannan said, “But they did not want to accept their defeat”

 

Kannan added, “Hence, Rawat whom we considered as the head, committed suicide”

Deepak said,”Hmmm…yes sir we know that”

 

Kannan said, “We thought that the case is over”

Kannan added, “But, now we find similar kind of complaints in Pugazhendhi’s region”

 

Palranjan said,”Oh! I see”

Kannan said, “They are causing too many losses to the business men here”

 

Kannan added,” and they give trouble to the local people on a daily basis”

Prakash said,”hmmm”

 

Kannan said, “So, we are here to track them and eradicate them in an urgent basis”

Kannan said,”Pugazhendhi, if you want to tell something, please proceed”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes gentlemen”

Pugazhendhi added, “What we say as a team of business thieves”

 

Pugazhendhi continued, “Are a mixture of men and robots”

Prakash exclaimed,”Oh!”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, men will be operating the robots”

Pugazhendhi added, “Making the robots to steal, murder, etc.”

 

Pugazhendhi continued, “Recently a car shed got ignited to fire by one robot”

Yoganand asked,”Oh, is that so?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, and these robots get operated by remote control”

Yuvaraj said, “What? A remote control?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, so the person who is operating it should be in a nearest periphery”

Yoganand asked,” like how much distance?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Within 1 kilometre radius”

Pugazhendhi added, “If you fight them with bare hands, death is sure”

 

Prakash said,”Oh my god!”

Pugazhendhi said, “So, firing at the robots is also a waste of time”

 

Yuvaraj said,”hmmm…ok”

Pugazhendhi said, “So, throwing a grenade will destroy them”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “But this is a village zone and we have many common people moving around”

Yoganand said,”Hmmm…so we need to take much care in this operation”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes”

Chapter 35: A Confusing Intelligent

Date: 24th July 2012, Monday

Place: Pazhamathur

 

Pugazhendhi saw his watch; the time was 12 O Clock in the afternoon.

Pugazhendhi took his mobile phone and dialled to Kannan.

 

Kannan answered the call, “Hello Pugazhendhi”

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir, we have got an important evidence”

 

Kannan asked, “What is that?”

Pugazhendhi said, “A video clip near the car shed of Ramamoorthy”

 

Kannan asked, “Who took the video clip?”

Pugazhendhi said, “He is a wildlife Photographer and explorer”

 

Kannan asked,”Oh! I see”

Pugazhendhi said, “He has kept his camera for 48-hour observation in Udayambakkam”

 

Kannan said,”Oh!”

Pugazhendhi said, “The camera captured the vehicle’s registration number and the fire”

 

Kannan asked, “What is the vehicle registration number?”

Pugazhendhi said, “It is TN 07 BF 7615”

 

Kannan said,”Ok, send me the number as a message”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “Within today evening, I will get the address of the owner”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

 

Kannan said, “After finding the address, I will say what is to be get done”

The call got disconnected.

Pugazhendhi called,”Apparao”

 

Apparao came inside his cabin.

Pugazhendhi said,” We will be getting a special team at 3 O clock”

 

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

Pugazhendhi said,”Kannan sir will also come”

 

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “I will have my lunch and come, you people have your lunch soon today”

 

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

Saying so, Pugazhendhi got up from his table.

 

Pugazhendhi came out of his cabin and walked out of the Police station.

Pugazhendhi took his bike and left the Place.

 

After 10 minutes he reached a Highway restaurant.

Pugazhendhi had his lunch at that restaurant.

 

He returned to the Police station at 1 O clock.

He entered his cabin and started to work on his computer.

 

Apparao entered the cabin.

Pugazhendhi asked, “What is the matter?”

 

Apparao said, “Sir, it is about the culprits in the Murugesan case”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes tell me”

 

Apparao said, “The bullets got removed from them”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, when are they getting discharged?”

 

Apparao said, “Another two days they will be in hospital”

Pugazhendhi said, “Instruct our people to give tight security to them”

 

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “Nobody should get allowed to communicate with them”

 

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “You please have control over them in this case”

 

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

Pugazhendhi asked,”mmm….Anything else?”

 

Apparao said, “No sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “I have some work”

 

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

Apparao went out of Pugazhendhi’s cabin.

 

Pugazhendhi was writing some e-mails to his old friends.

At that time, he received a phone call from Prabhu.

 

Pugazhendhi answered the call, “yes, tell me, man”

Prabhu asked, “Had your lunch?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes man, an important turning point has happened in this case”

Prabhu asked, “What is that?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “It is a top secret”

Prabhu asked, “Why?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “I will tell you later”

Prabhu said,”Oh I see”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “But there will be a major Police Operation today”

Prabhu asked, “It seems that you have the address of the culprits”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Almost you are near it”

Prabhu said,”hmmm…how did it happen?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Culprits think they are smart, but something beyond our understanding exists”

Prabhu said, “You are confusing me”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Confusions will always lead to intelligence”

Prabhu said,”Oh! Then you are a confusing intelligent”

 

Pugazhendhi laughed,”Ha! Ha! Ha!”

Chapter 34: The Number Plate

Date: 24th July 2012, Monday

Place: Pazhamathur

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, you have brought it to the right place”

Raghav said,”Oh! I see”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “How did you think that you should bring it here?”

Raghav said, “I thought that it was a planned firing incident”

 

Raghav added, “So, I thought of sharing it with you”

Raghav continued, “And you are the local authority for this”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Mmm…good, give me the memory card”

Raghav opened the camera’s memory slot and pulled out the memory card.

 

Raghav handed over the memory card to Pugazhendhi.

Pugazhendhi got the memory card and inserted it in his computer unit.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “You please come here and identify the video clip in the folder”

Raghav went near Pugazhendhi’s computer and identified the video clip.

 

Pugazhendhi watched the video clip.

The Tempo traveller was visible, but the people inside it were not visible.

 

Pugazhendhi saw that the Number plate of the Tempo Traveller was visible.

Pugazhendhi said, “The Plate shows the number TN07 BF 7615”

 

Pugazhendhi continued to watch the video.

He understood that it was the monkey robot, which burnt the shed.

 

The shed was the same location of Ramamoorthy’s car shed.

The line of sight of the Camera got aligned with the Tempo Traveller and the car shed.

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Why did you choose this location to place your camera?”

Raghav said, “Sir, I found some rare kind of snakes in this area”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh! I see”

Raghav said, “If I am shooting them on my own, It consumes too much of my energy”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “So, you place your camera and go home”

Raghav said, “Yes sir”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “What if somebody steals your camera?”

Raghav said, “I have a tracking system on my laptop”

 

Raghav added, “Moreover, I will put bushes and shrubs around it and hide my camera”

Pugazhendhi said,”Hmmm…ok…Luck favours you”

 

Raghav said, “Sir, some investments are always full of risk”

Pugazhendhi asked, “So, you like to take risks”

 

Raghav said, “Yes, if we need good output”

Pugazhendhi said, “Did you get any snakes in your video?”

 

Raghav said,”mmm…yes but very less, I am not satisfied”

Pugazhendhi said,”hmm…ok”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Can I keep your memory card?”

Raghav asked, “Why sir?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “It is an important evidence”

Pugazhendhi added, “And you should not tell anyone”

 

Raghav said,”Ok sir, when will I get my memory card back?”

Pugazhendhi said, “not very soon”

 

Raghav asked, “Why?”

Pugazhendhi said, “It will create unnecessary trouble”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Where is your house?”

Raghav said, “In Chennai”

 

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Which area in Chennai?”

Raghav said, “I am from chromepet”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “You give your mobile number and address details to Mr.Apparao”

Raghav said,”Ok sir”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “And you should not tell anybody about this until the case gets over”

Raghav said,”Ok sir”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Apparao”

Apparao came inside the cabin of Pugazhendhi.

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Apparao, get the details of this guy and send him soon”

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “You can go now”

Raghav said,”Ok sir”

 

Raghav and Apparao went outside the cabin of Pugazhendhi.

Pugazhendhi once again started to watch the video.

 

The cube and the number plate were the satisfying evidence in the video.

The conversion of the cube into its robotic form was not visible.

 

It could be because, the conversion could have happened near the car shed.

 

The operator of the robot could be inside the tempo traveller.

Throughout the operation, nobody got down from the vehicle.

Date: 24^th July 2012, Monday

Place: Pazhamathur

 

The time was around 10.20 a.m.

Pugazhendhi got a call from Prabhu.

 

Pugazhendhi answered the call, “yes, tell me, man”

Prabhu asked, “What is the status in Murugesan case?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “It is a property quarrel man”

Prabhu said,”Oh! Property quarrel”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, and today I am getting the special team here”

Prabhu said,”Oh! Congrats”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Did you have your breakfast?”

Prabhu said,”Mmm…yes I had it in a hotel today”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, today I will be busy”

Prabhu said,”Ok, you carry on with your work, I am going to sleep”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok take rest”

The call got disconnected.

 

The time was moving in a slow manner.

Feroz supplied Tea at 10.45 a.m.

 

Pugazhendhi was sipping on the tea.

At that time, a guy entered the Police station.

 

He was wearing a Blue T-shirt and black Jeans pant.

He had a travel bag and a camera pouch.

 

A sunglass was hanging in the front sleeve of his T-Shirt.

He can be around 25 years of age.

 

He asked Apparao,”Sir, can I see the Inspector?”

Apparao asked, “Who are you?”

 

The man said, “My name is Raghav, and I am a Photographer and explorer”

Apparao said, “Wait here sir, I will get permission”

 

Apparao went inside Pugazhendhi’s cabin.

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, Apparao tell me”

 

Apparao said, “Sir, Somebody called Raghav has come to see you”

Pugazhendhi said, “Who is he?”

 

Apparao said, “He is a Photographer”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, send him in”

 

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

Apparao went outside and sent Raghav to Pugazhendhi’s cabin.

 

Raghav said, “Good Morning sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “Good Morning”

 

Raghav said, “Sir, I a Photographer and an explorer”

Pugazhendhi asked,”Oh! What do you explore?”

 

Raghav said, “I explore wildlife and nature”

Pugazhendhi said,”Mmm…ok, what is your problem?”

 

Raghav said, “I don’t have any problem, but I have something to produce before you”

Pugazhendhi said, “What is that?”

 

Raghav said, “I have a video clip, and it could be useful to you”

Pugazhendhi said, “What kind of Video clip?”

 

Raghav said, “I have a camera which can shoot for 48 hrs in a continuous manner”

Raghav added, “We can place it in remote locations and go home”

 

Raghav continued, “After 48 hours we can come back and collect it”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh! A good stuff”

 

Raghav said, “Friday night 7 O clock I kept my camera”

Raghav added,” in Udayambakkam near the river bank”

 

Pugazhendhi exclaimed,”Oh! What place did you say?”

Raghav said,”Udayambakkam”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Hmm…proceed”

Raghav said, “And I collected the same camera yesterday evening 7 O clock”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok”

Raghav said, “I was going through the clips last night”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”hmmm…anything you found significant?”

Raghav said, “Yes, a tempo traveller came and parked right in front of my camera”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh! Then”

Raghav said,” A cube shaped object came out of the tempo traveller”

 

Raghav said, “The cube got flying in air”

Raghav added, “It went to a shed which was 400 m from my camera”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmmm”

Raghav said, “The shed is not visible, but when the cube came back and entered the tempo”

 

Raghav added, “The shed was burning and the flames are visible in my clip”

Pugazhendhi said, “Great man, you have reached the right person in right time”

 

Raghav asked, “Why sir?”

Pugazhendhi said, “What you have in your hands is a major evidence for the biggest case I am handling”

 

Raghav said,”Oh! I see”

Chapter 32: A Quarrel for Property

Date: 24^th July 2012, Monday

Place: Pazhamathur

 

Pugazhendhi woke up at 7.30 a.m. in the morning.

He felt like he had slept for long hours.

 

He realized the seriousness of the coming days.

He did not expect the Murugesan’s case.

 

Pugazhendhi took a bath and started the cooking process.

He had his breakfast at 8.30 a.m.

 

He reached his Office by 9.15 a.m.

All the officers including Apparao were present in the Police Station.

 

Pugazhendhi entered the station.

Everybody said, “Good Morning sir”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Good Morning” and he entered his cabin.

Murugesan was waiting in Pugazhendhi’s cabin.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Good Morning sir”

Murugesan said, “Good Morning sir”

 

Both of them sat in the chairs.

Pugazhendhi called,”Apparao”

 

Apparao came inside and said, “Yes sir”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Where are the culprits?”

 

Apparao said, “We have admitted them in the hospital sir”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Who are guarding them?”

 

Apparao said,”Vimal and Naren sir”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…ok”

 

Apparao went outside the cabin of Pugazhendhi.

Pugazhendhi asked,”Hmmm…what is the problem, sir?”

 

Murugesan said, “My father Raghuraman had two wives”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm”

 

Murugesan said,”Senthil is the son of his second wife Rangamma”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh! I see”

 

Murugesan said, “When my father died, he divided the property to both of our families in an equal manner”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh! Ok”

 

Murugesan said,”Senthil had lot of bad habits like alcohol, Prostitute relationships, etc.”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmmm”

 

Murugesan said, “So, he lost many of his properties”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…Ok”

 

Murugesan said, “I was doing agriculture and some other business also”

Murugesan added, “This year I was about to yield some good profit”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…”

Murugesan said, “He came and asked share in my profit”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh”

Murugesan said, “I rejected to give him share because it was my work”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…good”

Murugesan said, “Then he tried to ask share in the properties of mine”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh! I see”

Murugesan said, “I rejected that too”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…very cunning fellow he is”

Murugesan said, “at last, last night he has done this”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…but I was on rounds last night, or else…you will not be alive today”

Murugesan said, “I know sir, me and my family members are very much thankful to you”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “You give your statement through Mr. Apparao”

Murugesan said,”Ok sir”

 

Pugazhendhi called,”Apparao”

Apparao came inside the cabin.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Get a statement from Murugesan explaining the motive of murder attempt”

Apparao said,”Ok sir”

 

Murugesan went outside the cabin of Pugazhendhi.

Apparao and Murugesan sat before a Table and started to prepare the statement.

 

Pugazhendhi said to himself,”hmm…A Quarrel for Property”

Pugazhendhi started to check his emails on his computer.

 

Around 10 a.m. he got a phone call from Kannan.

Pugazhendhi answered the call, “Hello sir”

 

Kannan said, “Good Morning Pugazh”

Pugazhendhi said, “Good Morning sir”

 

Kannan said, “Our team will reach your office by 3 O clock”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “They will have to arrange for their own food and accommodation”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “I will be coming there by evening 6 O clock”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Where will you stay sir?”

Kannan said, “I have got accommodation in chengalpattu”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

Kannan said, “Any new case?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, but this is not from the business thieves”

Kannan asked,”Oh! What is the case?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “It is a property quarrel between two brothers”

Kannan said,”Oh! is that a serious case?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Attempt to murder sir”

Kannan asked, “What?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, and I got the culprits red handed”

Kannan said,”hmm…nobody gives you rest”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Correct sir”

Kannan said,”Ok, we will talk in the evening”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

The phone call got disconnected.
