      Dr.Krish was an lndian scientist ,settled in New Delhi.He was quite popular for his research in the field of mental health and wellness. He always had the best advice that one would ever need during the times of adversity.The only issue that remained unresolved was MOOD SWINGS.He left no stone unturned until he finally found a perfect drug for this common complaint. The drug was named the ‘Merrypamide’. The drug was tested and approved by the drug research centre.

       A grand launch event was conducted at New Delhi in the presence of many dignitaries including the Health Minister. Everyone was in praise of Dr.Krish,which made him feel elated.The drug was released in the market and had good response from the people.A week later,many people reported with a weird outgrowth that resembled a monkey’s tail.lt was not just the tail that resembled a monkey but also their behaviour.The affected people began to jump like the tailed creatures and they became childish and mischievous.History revealed that the use of Merrypamide was a common factor amidst these patients.

     Dr.Krish was taken aback by the news that arrived like a thunderbolt. The media and the public slammed him. His competitors tried to tarnish his name.One of Dr.Krish’s assistants,Dr.Jessy found that the adverse effects were due to the excessive addition of a particular ingredient. Both of them were working on the solution when they discovered that only symptoms could be subsided and there was no cure in modern medicine. They were disheartened.

     When he returned home with a heavy heart,his grandmother noticed the grimace on his face.He shared about all that had happened and was worried and his hard work and reputation.She then told about a similar incident which took place in her youth and a doctor named Tapas brought an end to the medical condition and the medicinal secret lies only within his tribe.She also added that the descendants of Tapas were still alive but it would be a tedious task trying to reach them.

       This news lightened his heavy heart.Dr.Krish inquired every historian and traveller he knew to locate the abode of Tapas. He finally cracked it,they resided in Nilgiri hills. The very next day,he started off his journey to the Nilgiris . Once he reached the destination,he was blocked by a group of men.lt seemed that they belonged to a tribe called Kurumbas. They asked Dr.Krish to leave immediately but he refused.

       They tried to attack him before which he revealed that he was a doctor caught in a mishap and needed their guidance .By understanding the gravity of the situation,the chief of the Kurumbas ,Malaiyan welcomed him and made every arrangement to make his stay comfortable.Starting from the preparatory methods to precautions,every tiny detail about the medication was revealed to Dr.Krish.

     Within a week, Dr.Krish released the new medication which came as a perfect cure for the symptoms of the people.Everything was restored back to normal,and the government thanked Dr.Krish and honoured him with the Charaka award,given for medical excellence.
