Once there was a small girl name Ani, she always had her hair braided in two. She was a tiny girl who was in kindergarten. One day while playing on the ground she saw a small rabbit and a butterfly, so she straightens her glasses on her nose and begins to follow them. While running behind those two she lost track of time and direction, but without realising that she kept going. Until a stone came under her shoes and she tripped got a bruise on her left knee and the glasses fell off. Without the glasses, little she could see. Suddenly an old lady appears with a basket of fruits and flowers, she felt her presence but her eyesight was not helping her here, she came close to the other person and something smelled so fresh near that lady she was even more attracted towards her. While doing so she mistakenly steps on her glasses, she picked them up and fixes them under her nose. She saw an old lady with a basket, she felt happy that she will not feel lost there anymore as she have company now who might help her. That weird old lady gave her a peach and went ahead without saying anything. Ani followed her and said thank you for the fruit but she wants her help to get out of this strange place. The old lady nodded and held her hand and began to walk. After some time Ani starts to hear the sounds of children playing she felt very happy and began to run ahead. The moment she turns to thank the lady, she was not there anymore. She thanked god for sending her an angel when she was lost on a strange path alone.
Moral : Never trust strangers some may turn out to be a horror for us.
The element of horror was delicately balanced with a good moral, the moral of the story could have been portrayed in a different way maybe even with a not so happy ending or could give a twist at the end . Although the way the story started was pretty engaging as well as the plot of this short story was described in an intricate way. Very subtly all the elements were balanced and presented in this concise way!
