Once upon a time, in a small town, there were a group of friends. Mihir, Shyam, Rahul, and Shan were the closest friends and did everything together. They played cricket, studied for exams, and everything else together.
As they grew older, they found out that they would be going to different colleges. But they promised each other that they would always stay in touch and support each other’s futures.
On the day of their farewell party, they took many photos and made many memories. They promised to stay in touch and support each other.
The next day, they all went their separate ways. Some went to college, some started their own businesses, and some began preparing for civil services. Time passed, and days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months and years.
Despite their busy lives, they still stayed in touch through phone calls and occasional meetups, keeping their friendship strong.
One day, Mihir, who was trying to become a director and wanted to make small documentaries to become a big director, planned a picnic to Vijaygarh, a village near Himatgarh. He had heard many mysterious stories about Vijaygarh being a once prosperous kingdom that suddenly fell into ruin and became a deserted village.
For Mihir, Vijaygarh was a big opportunity. If he could make a documentary there, his name would become famous, and he could easily fulfill his dream of becoming a big director. He convinced his three friends to come with him and help him make the documentary. This would also be a reunion for the old friends who had been separated for so long.
Everyone agreed to Mihir’s plan except for Shan. Shan was a very timid and fearful person, and he had to think a lot before making any decision. The name Vijaygarh scared him, and he asked what would happen if they got stuck there alone after making the documentary. His friends made fun of him and called him a coward, and with an attitude, they decided to go there to put an end to Shan’s fears. They all agreed to meet in Himatgarh on the next Saturday and leave for Vijaygarh from there.
Days passed, and Saturday arrived. They met in their hometown as promised and started their journey towards Vijaygarh. The road was desolate and full of dangers, making them all hesitant to proceed. After walking for some time, they became tired and started feeling breathless. As darkness fell, they began to panic and wonder how they would escape this dangerous path. Suddenly, a bullock cart appeared behind them, and the driver asked why they were there at that time. He warned them that the road led to Vijaygarh, which was a foolish decision at this hour.
Rahul spoke to him, “We are stuck here, can you please take us out of this jungle?” Mihir immediately interrupted Rahul and said, “Don’t believe his words, he is saying anything due to fatigue. We have to go to Vijaygarh.” The stranger smiled lightly and said, “Alright then, let’s go. I am also heading in that direction. I will drop you off at your destination.”
All of them hesitantly got into the bullock cart as the man slowly drove forward. For some time, there was peace and quiet, with only the sound of the cart echoing through the deserted road. They all looked at each other’s faces, their senses heightened by the darkness and the fear of the unknown. No one knew what was going to happen next, and the dense darkness only made their fear worse.
After some time, the man broke the silence and asked, “What are you guys going to do there? There is nothing in Vijaygarh except for empty ruins.” Shyam nervously replied, “We are going there to make a documentary…” Before he could finish, Mihir cut him off and said, “We are just going there to explore.” The man chuckled and said, “Exploring, huh? You will have a lot of fun there. There are many things to entertain you.”
Shan was shocked and asked, “What things?” Just then, the man suddenly stopped the cart and said, “Here is your destination.” They all looked up and saw a big old door with a sign that read “Vijaygarh,” which looked like it had been consumed by the jungle and was in terrible condition.
The four friends got off the bullock cart and looked towards the door with enchanted threads and locks. They asked the man why they were there, but he didn’t answer. When they turned around, there was no one behind them. The cart, the man, everything had disappeared.
Terrified, they decided not to enter the ruins of Vijaygarh. Suddenly, the door and the sign vanished, leaving only darkness and jungle. They started running back the way they came, screaming for help. As they were running, an ambulance stopped in front of them. The driver realized they had encountered something dangerous in Vijaygarh and quickly took them away.
The four friends were grateful to be alive and vowed never to go to such a place alone again. They were haunted by the memory of the incident and were scared to even think about it.
