Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who lived in a small town. She had a pet dog named Toby, and they were best friends. They would play together every day, and Toby would always sleep in Lily’s bed at night.

One day, Lily and Toby were playing in the park when Toby ran off after a squirrel. Lily chased after him, but he was too fast. She searched and searched, but she couldn’t find him anywhere.

Lily was heartbroken. She went home and cried herself to sleep. The next day, she went back to the park and looked for Toby again. She asked everyone she saw if they had seen him, but no one had.
