A boy named Rick was traveling with his friends, Sam, Tricky, Jake,John,Tim,Cham in a desert area. They all like to travel different places and explore them. Right now rick and his friends were facing a problem ,as they were traveling for two days in the desert but they didn’t find any pound or Village. This area of desert said to be dangerous because of climate and sand dunes. Because of this reason all of them were having a hard time in walking and facing dehydration as they were going forward there water which they had been with them was about to be finish in few more hours. When the sun was about to set in some hours Rick noticed a village which was at few metres distance first he thought that it was a mirage but Sam and John also noticed it . We all walk as fast as we can towards the village, as we reach near the village we noticed that the village was in a very poor condition all the huts were covered with sand other things were damaged. We thought about going in and search for food or water,as i go in one of the hut I saw a skeleton lying on the bed which was covered with sand inside and nothing else was there after seeing that I ran outside towards my friends. Jake was outside waiting for us as he saw me running towards him he asked what happened at that we heard other screaming and running towards us after asking what happened they told the same thing which I had seen. We all were very frightened because of all this, we all thought of going out of this village and as we go out searching for water if we can find some in the path. As we all are going towards the village well we heard some strange voice in the path because of this we all decided to ran towards the well see it and collect water and leave the village as fast as we can , as we reach near the well we all fall in a hole which was very deep when we open the eyes we saw that we had fallen in a cave and we can’t climb up the hole. We all decided to go in the cave but first we have to treat Tricky and Cham there arm and ankle were injured because of the fall. After resting for few hours we begin to go on. All of us are very scared to go on but we have to survive anyhow, we all determined of not giving up. We all one by one help tricky and cham in walking after some distance there was no light so we all had only two torches so we decided to use one at a time as we don’t know how long is the cave is , as we walking inside the cave we noticed that it is very strange that there were poisonous snake and spiders were there but they didn’t attack us. And after some distance we saw a bridge and below it water was flowing which was literally impossible in desert a water (river) was flowing is quite a sight which left us speechless but with can’t stop here we have to go on as we cross the bridge we reach the other side. We walk inside it as we hear a sound of footsteps we all become alert to the suprise of our we saw a girl coming from inside of there and the sound of footsteps belong to this girl. We all sigh in relief and asked that girl what is she doing here and can she help us in going out of this cave while I was saying this at that very moment tricky fainted infront of me.As i panicked, I don’t know what to do i stood still there. At that time the girl said a pound is near hear I will take you all there, as John carried tricky and we all just followed her without saying anything . When we reach we saw a small pound some trees which is also very strange and wierd in this place but there was no answer to all of this which is happening. After that she said to put tricky on a big stone and said us to collect some water and food for the girl and yourselves after that we collect the water and tried to make tricky drink some water. After checking on her I found that she fainted because of dehydration and the injury made it more serious but after some rest she will be fine. We all seat there and light fire there for warming our body because strangely we all were feeling cold. We all eat some food and rested there while we all were curious about the identity of the girl which helped us. We all said thanks to her and asked what is her name what is she doing hear or is seen the village or she knows how it happened. After listening to all this question she said my name is Gabriella after she asked why do we want to know about the village. Then I said just curiousity because seeing all those skeleton and that sence we just think that does it happened because of nature cause or other things but she also doesn’t know about it because looking at the skeleton it may happen long ago. After this she said she knows how it happened but after asking a question she will tell us what happened she asked what do you think what was happened here was it naturally or because of curse. We all first just laugh on the question and then Jake said maybe because of lack of food and water they all starve and died because of that. Then she said do you all think this is the answer then Sam , cham agreed with it and I said we don’t know maybe or maybe not. Then she said then let me tell you what happened this village was also a full with people happily living but something happened that destroyed everything.
“Is it a curse or a blessing?” is a story that keeps you captivated till the end. The title perfectly fits the story. The author started the story with a great backdrop setting and tried with all her might to make it a suspense thriller. The characters of the story were also a perfect match.
Personally, I liked the idea of a story and most importantly the suspense genre because it makes the audience glued to their screens till the last. As much as I liked the story, still somewhere it lost it’s essence. The story is not executed in a well manner as it should have been.
To write a story, the author must be very careful and fluent with words as well as grammar. There are immense grammatical errors in the entire story. Only the idea is not enough to write a great meaningful story. A story is totally meaningless without correct grammar and punctuation marks. The punctuation marks are very much required in a story to create differences between sentences, phrases and paragraphs. If the punctuation is not used at the correct places then the story can go in a totally opposite direction which will eventually bring out a different meaning altogether. The tense in which the story is written is also not specified by the author. Sometimes it’s present and sometimes it’s past.
Although, the story is great with a great creativeness and the genre chosen was absolutely correct. There are too many errors, either grammatical or punctuation and hence it creates a hindrance in the path of the reader for which the author should be careful from the next time.
