There was a young boy named Hari. His father was a hunter and forest guide. He taught Hari about animal and how to trap them. One way of doing this was to beat a drum. The noise of the drum would frighten the animal and they would run towards the waiting hunters.

One day, Hari was in the forest with a drum beater. Suddenly they heard a short very close to them. It was a bison. The drum beater got scared and left Hari alone. Hari hid himself in the tall grass behind the drum . The bison charged at him. Hari as a brave soldier took the drum stick and banged on the drum. The bison stopped and it came slowly towards the drum. Hari banged in the drum again and rolled away the drum from him.

The bison went behind the drum and Hari quickly climbed a tree to escape the bison. The bison out his head down and butted the drum. Its horn went into one side of the drum . Its horn got stuck and charged the tree where Hari was hiding.

Hari leaned down and hit the drum with his hand. The sound startled the bison and it hit its head on the tree. The drum broke and the bison became free of the drum and it ran away from the place. Hari then came down from the tree and went home.
