This is the continuation to the story of Business Thieves. Pugazhendhi thought that he was fully out of the case. But he finds that he is not too far from the business thieves.They are after him.

 

Chapter 12: A Good Guess

Date: 19th July 2012, Thursday

Place: Pazhamathur

 

Pugazhendhi and Apparao reached the Police station.

He relaxed in his cabin for some time.

 

He checked his emails on his computer.

At 4.30 P.m., Apparao came inside his cabin.

 

Apparao asked, “Will I send tea for you sir?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes please”

 

There was a boy who used to supply tea to their office.

His name was feroz.

 

Apparao called Feroz through his mobile phone.

Feroz answered the call, “Hello sir”

 

Apparao said,”Feroz, bring tea for 8 people here”

Feroz said,”Ok sir, I will”

 

After 15 minutes feroz came to the station with a tea flask and paper cups.

He served all the officers with tea.

 

Feroz entered Pugazhendhi’s cabin and served him with tea.

Pugazhendhi received the tea from him.

 

Feroz said, “Sir, good evening “

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…good evening”

 

Feroz said, “I have heard about you a lot”

Pugazhendhi said,”Mmm…what did you hear?”

 

Feroz said, “That Rawat case and bomb blast”

Feroz added, “You escaped in a very small gap of time”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes it is true”

Feroz said, “You are a hero sir”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Not like that if you have the fear of life, you will also escape from a bomb”

Feroz laughed,”Ha!Ha!Ha!”

 

Feroz said,”Ok, sir, thank you”

Pugazhendhi said, “Thank you”

 

Feroz left the place.

Pugazhendhi thought, “What is this, this Rawat had made me famous”

At that time Prabhu called him through his mobile.

Pugazhendhi answered the call.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “good evening man”

Prabhu said “Hello Pugazh”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “I got another case to solve”

Prabhu asked, “What is it?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “It is a theft”

Prabhu asked, “Theft? What has got stolen?”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”1 crore of black money”

Prabhu said, “Black money, is the guy giving a complaint?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “No man, he gave me an unofficial complaint”

Prabhu asked, “Why do you want to take an unofficial case?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “He requested me”

Prabhu said, “Black money case man”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, but do you know who the culprits are?”

Prabhu asked, “Who?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Our same old business thieves”

Prabhu said, “What? Are you joking?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “I am not joking”

Prabhu asked, “Who is the affected person?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “His name is Somanathan, a businessman from Padalam”

Prabhu said,”Oh! I see”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “He has kept the money in his secret farmhouse”

Prabhu said,”Oho”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “And these fellows went there and looted a full bureau”

Prabhu exclaimed,”Oh! My god”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “I don’t know how they smell the place of money”

Prabhu said, “That too in your region”

 

Pugazhendhi laughed,”Ha! Ha! Ha!…They are playing with me”

Prabhu said, “Two cases in two days”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “That means they are very angry with me”

Prabhu said, “Yes of course”

 

Prabhu added, “They want revenge for the deaths of Farooq, Rawat and Sirish Kumar”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…from my viewpoint they all have committed suicide”

 

Prabhu said,”mmm…true, but your investigation was responsible for their death”’

Pugazhendhi said, “then what about the lives of our officers?”

 

Prabhu said,”mmm…correct…this is not going to end in an easy way”

Pugazhendhi said, “But they have targeted me”

 

Prabhu said,”hmmm… you got rejected for promotion and got a transfer”

Pugazhendhi said, “I don’t worry about that”

 

Prabhu said, “I am having a doubt that whether some political guy got involved in your transfer”

Pugazhendhi asked, “What?”

 

Prabhu said, “if some ministerial level pressure happens, they will give immediate transfer”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, but how do we know which minister has done it?”

 

Prabhu said, “That is difficult, but I am trying to connect that Minister and the dead Rawat”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…good connection”

 

Prabhu said, “So, that minister could be the real head of the business thieves”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…a good guess”
