Chapter VII: The Repetition
Date: 29th May 2012
Place: Saidapet
It was around evening 7.30 p.m. when Pugazhendhi reached his apartment in Saidapet.

He took a bath and refreshed himself. He was thinking of preparing his dinner himself.

At 8 O Clock, he received a phone call from Prabhu.

He answered the phone call, “Hello Prabhu”

Prabhu said, “Yes man, we have gathered some more news”
Pugazhendhi said, “Any improvement?”

Prabhu said, “Yes, we have made a breakthrough”
Pugazhendhi asked, “What is it?”

Prabhu said, “There are 4 more similar cases registered in the city in various locations”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh! My God”
Prabhu said, “All the 4 have happened within the last one month”

Pugazhendhi said, “Is it so?”
Prabhu said, “Yes, the locations are Mylapore, Ambattur, Tambaram and Anna Nagar”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh, then this turns to be a bigger case”
Prabhu said, “Yes Of course”

Pugazhendhi said, “Then it would have gone to the notice of Higher Officers”

Prabhu said, “Yes, you may also get an official meeting in this week”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok let me see”
Prabhu said, “I got to know by Mr.Dhanasekaran”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, thank you”
Prabhu asked, “So, what is going to be your next move?”

Pugazhendhi said, “I have to wait till I get an Official call for the meeting”

Prabhu asked, “I am not asking about that”
Pugazhendhi said, “Then?”

Prabhu said, “How are you going to track the culprit?”

Pugazhendhi said, “The case has got more complicated now”

Prabhu said, “Yes, what is your idea?”

Pugazhendhi said, “He is not attacking the same place in a regular manner”

Prabhu said, “Yes”
Pugazhendhi said, “He is shifting locations”

Prabhu said, “Yes”
Pugazhendhi said, “So he is sure to have an own vehicle”

Prabhu said, “Yes”
Pugazhendhi said, “And he is sure to have a remote workplace”

Prabhu said, “Yes, sure”
Pugazhendhi said, “So Now our Job is to track his workplace and vehicle”

Prabhu said, “How will you do it?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Let me collect the details of other cases “

Prabhu said,”Ok “
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok man, I am about to cook food”

Prabhu said,”Ok, I understand, Bye”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok Bye”

 

Chapter VIII: The Call from Head Office
Date: 30th May 2012
Place: Adyar Police Station

The Next day, Pugazhendhi was in his workplace doing his regular duty.

By 11 O clock in the Morning, He got a call from the Commissioner office.

He answered the call, “Hello”
The Other end said, “Sir Is this Mr. Pugazhendhi?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, I am”
The Other end said, “I am calling from the commissioner office”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir please tell me”

The other end said, “I am Kannan, S.P. and this is about the exploitation of food items case”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, how can I help you?”

Kannan said, “You need to attend a meeting tomorrow here at our Head office”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, at what time?”
Kannan said, “It will be at 11 O Clock in the morning”

Pugazhendhi said,” Ok Sir, I will be there”

Kannan said, “I will send the details through an e-mail”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, I will see it”

Kannan said, “Other Police officers will also be at the meet, so please don’t miss the meet”

Pugazhendhi said, “Sure Sir, I will”
Kannan said,”Ok, Meet you tomorrow, Bye”

Pugazhendhi said, “Thank you, sir”
The call got disconnected.

Pugazhendhi dialled to Prabhu’s mobile number.
Prabhu answered the call, “Hello”

Pugazhendhi said, “Hello Prabhu, You were right”
Prabhu said, “about what?”

Pugazhendhi said, “They have arranged a meeting tomorrow”
Prabhu said,”Oh I see”

Pugazhendhi said, “The Officers from other locations will also be present at the meeting”

Prabhu said, “So, you people will devise a plan to catch the culprit”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, that is the agenda”

Prabhu said,”Ok all the best, call me if any help required”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, Bye”
Prabhu said, “Bye”
