The award for best international sculptor goes to Mr. KUMAR RUDRAKSH from INDIA .A proud moment not only for rudraksh but also for our country INDIA.RUDRA touch down his father’s feet and went to collect the award , he was living his dream moment.

Well now let me give you a glimpse of rudra’s early life.

He was an only son of his parents , His mother died just after he was born. He was raised by his father all alone . His father SANJEEV KUMAR was a famous sculptor of their locality making sculptors were the only source of income for them. Due to which they faced various hardships in life . Sometimes they even slept without food due to lack of money. This is how time passed and rudra turned 15 , He was a young and handsome boy now, with a passion to become the most famous sculptor in the world and make our country proud on an international platform, seeing his passion  his father decided to teach him and help him achieve his goal.

One day rudra said ” Papa see I made my first art piece”. ” hmm its alright you need to work harder”, said his father leaving him disappointed. He stood up, made once again and showed his father and the same thing happened again. With days of hard work he got just one little words of appreciation, this left him discouraged making him doubt his abilities but he never gave up , he kept himself motivated and decided to prove his father wrong and genuinely dedicated his days and nights towards his goals. No matter how beautiful he made the statue, even far better than his father’s still it was not perfect for his father. His father found flaws in every single statue rudra made. HE was used to this comment that ” This is not perfect, you need to work more precisely”. And that’s how time flew by and rudra turned 23.

One day rudra got irritated and vented out his frustration on his father , he said ” YOU ARE JUST JEALOUS OF ME BEING MORE TALENTED THAN YOU , YOU ARE SO SELFISH THAT YOU DON’T WANT ME TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL AND RICH , YOU KNOW THAT PEOPLE WOULD RESPECT ME MORE THAN ANYONE , YOU ARE SUCH A HORRIBLE FATHER”, leaving his father in tears. Sanjeev JI was in shock struggling to digest his son’s harsh words, this situation was very suffocating for him he felt like dying but he knew that someday his son will come and apologize for his mistake and understand the reason behind his scolding.

After a month of extreme hard work RUDRA’s statue was nominated for being the best original sculptors. he was very happy, almost accomplished his dreams.

NOW here is the day we were all waiting for, In just few seconds winner was about to announce , rudra’s heart was beating with a speed of light.

“And the award goes to Mr. KUMAR RUDRAKSH from INDIA “. He went up  collected his award and said with a bit of arrogance ” look papa you never complimented me according to you I was blot on the name of artist, see where I am standing right now”.

His father cried and said “I’m proud of you my son, I never doubted your potential I was sure that one day you will become a worldwide artist , its just that I wanted you to become a perfectionist, my constant nagging made you a very precise  sculptor  , Now you talk to your statues and they tell you whether its perfect or not, this level of dedication you achieved because of my scolding which had hidden lessons in it. Now i can die peacefully” saying this his father collapsed and was immediately admitted to the hospital that’s when it hit RUDRA that our parents are not wrong their way of teaching might be harsh or strict but all they want is our wellbeing.

WE should learn from RUDRA’S mistake and stop taking our parents for granted. It’s high time we expressed ourselves to them and said how grateful we are to have them . we should tell them how much we love them before it’s too late. never get upset about their strict rules and regulations , its their teachings framing us into a good human being today. So let’s join our hands together and be thankful towards our parents.

“Through the story of Kumar Rudraksh and his relationship with his father, this narrative beautifully captures the essence of ambition, family bonds, and the importance of appreciating our parents. The author takes us on a heartfelt journey that resonates with readers on multiple levels. The tale begins with Rudraksh’s humble beginnings, being raised solely by his father after losing his mother at a young age. The struggles they face together, including financial hardships, create a strong foundation for the story’s emotional depth. As Rudraksh grows older, his passion for sculpting and desire to make a name for himself become evident. The author effectively portrays the complex dynamics between Rudraksh and his father, Sanjeev Kumar. Sanjeev, being a renowned sculptor himself, serves as a mentor to his son. However, his constant criticism and high standards leave Rudraksh feeling discouraged and unappreciated. This tension reaches its peak when Rudraksh lashes out in frustration, unleashing hurtful words towards his father. However, as the story unfolds, we witness Rudraksh’s resilience and determination. Despite the emotional turmoil, he continues to pursue his dreams and works tirelessly to prove his worth as an artist. This dedication ultimately pays off when he is nominated for a prestigious award, marking a turning point in his journey. The climactic moment when Rudraksh is announced as the winner showcases the transformation of his relationship with his father. The bittersweet realization of the impact his father’s tough love had on his growth brings both joy and sorrow. The author brilliantly captures the mix of emotions through Rudraksh’s arrogant yet heartfelt words during his acceptance speech. The touching scene of his father’s pride and subsequent collapse leaves readers reflecting on the power of parental love and the significance of expressing gratitude. The narrative serves as a poignant reminder that parents may have their own ways of teaching and guiding us, even if they seem harsh at times. It encourages readers to cherish and appreciate their parents, expressing love and gratitude before it’s too late. In summary, this story is a compelling portrayal of the journey towards success, the complexities of familial relationships, and the importance of acknowledging and appreciating our parents. It resonates deeply, leaving readers with a renewed sense of gratitude and a reminder to cherish the love and guidance we receive from our loved ones. A truly inspiring and thought-provoking read.”

This is a beautiful story about a father and son relationship. It also tells us a lot about the Indian Society. The patriarchy existing in the country has always barred the men from displaying affection and appreciation.

In this story , Sanjeev Kumar supported his son Kumar Rudraksh’s dream to become the best sculptor in the world. He criticised his son for not a bad reason but never appreciated in him enough. This could’ve has two outcomes; the first one being the one that the story suggests and the other one being the destruction of his sanity. Many people in our country have become victims to extreme criticism and lack of love, understanding and appreciation by their own parents. This leads to self doubt , envy and low self-esteem.

Being grateful to our parents is a very important moral that we can take from the story. Rudraksh’s realisation shows the readers the effort his father had put in to make him the achiever he is today. It portrays how one should respect and make the most of the time they have with their parents because life is very uncertain. Even if they are bound and shaped by the society to be strict , we as children should know they love and care for us. If not cherished in time, we as their children would dwell in nothing but regret.

In conclusion, I would state that this is a very moralistic story and analysed carefully and also briefs the readers a lot about the Indian parenting system shaped by the society. We need to learn how to accept constructive criticism but also know when to stop criticising and start acknowledging so that it does not take a toll on a child’s mental health and confidence.
