This is a story of those who are completely different it might be due to personality traits, values, points of view, age, income, language, culture, education.
Kylo is not like other foxes. He never barks, bites or even fights. For him, berries taste better than meat. But the most unusual thing that happened was during his first hunt. This forest will never be the same again. “Looks like there are rabbits going that way.” “How can you tell?” Kylo asked. “Their smell has faded but you can still see their tracks in the snow.” Alfa replied. “Are you coming, son?” “Uh, I can just explore other prey.” Kylo said. “This is your first hunt, remember daddy?” Before Alpha could add anything to this conversation, his son rushed into the woods.
Come on Kylo, you can do it. Just kill something and bring it home, Kylo thought. There’s nothing to fear. He searched for hours. Not a single animal in sight. Suddenly, he saw a small black bird perched on a pile of ice. This is Kylo’s chance to prove himself to his pack. He crouched on the frozen ground and hovered over the helpless bird. As he prepared to charge, Kylo noticed that his wings appeared to be damaged. Feeling guilty, he jumped up, looked into her colored eyes, and said, “Hello. My name is Kylo. Which is yours? The bird backed the truck from a tall tree. “It’s…Bright…Eye…” the bird replied fearfully. Knowing she was injured, Kilo carried her on his back and took Bright-Eyes to his home.
“My family won’t like you here so you’ll have to stay hidden.” “Why Kylo?” Bright Eyes wondered. You don’t have to answer that question. Everyone knows that birds and animals are enemies of each other. It has been like that for many years. Kylo grabbed a leaf covered in sap with his jaws and carefully placed it on Bright-Eyes’ wounded wings. “It might hurt a little bit, but it’ll heal your wing,” Kylo said. “Thanks,” Bright Eyes praised, flinching in mild pain. Something seems strange, Kylo thought. It was as if the darkness inside of me had been soothed. He held his head high and smiled happily. Bright-Eyes’ eyes sparkled like a thousand stars at dusk. Suddenly, it was as if there was a telepathic connection between these two unlikely friends. A sense of peace surrounds them and stillness blooms in their minds. No sound can end this. Not even another fox’s paws slamming on the rocky ground.
Suddenly, the connection is blocked. There is something wrong. Flaming eyes stared at them from the cracks in the cave. Scratching on hard rock can damage all the cobs in the forest. “And now?” Bright Eyes asked. “Follow me,” Kylo announced. He carried her on his back and rushed out of the cave. As he ran, Kylo could hear the voices of the livestock, even his father’s. “How can you do that?” is all it understands but barking. When the moon rose in the distance, they disappeared into the forest and were never seen again.
Everyone is completely different from each other and this is how many of unlikely friendships happen.
